Honestly, the story started good, it was a fun read, until around chapter 204. This chapter showed us that the MC is just an emotionless brick. Usually a story is formed through the interactions and connections the characters have between each other and how they grow through them. But this MC is the perfect ninja, no attachment, only training and killing montages. Tbh, a very bland MC.

LIKEHow many chapters till he acts like human? If it is more than 100 chapters from ch 200 I would rather read a novel that MC acts like human from the start.
Tonix:Although it is true, because I dropped him for a while, when the Anbu arc begins, the pace improves considerably. In addition, when the protagonist is already involved in the plot, he looks more like a human
Exactly this, what was he supposed to do here? Many of the Uchiha that were killed were stronger than Fujin, and they were all killed. How was he going to save them? And, do not forget, say he does stop it, what then? Is the discourse between the Uchiha and the Village solved? No. The Uchiha were going to have a Coup, it was going to happen. And, also understand that the path Sasuke walks, ultimately leads him to being able to battle Kaguya with Naruto. That's the biggest thing people need to understand, Kaguya isn't some bad Ninja with crazy plans, she's a world ending disaster that hates all human beings.
lindre:This is a dumb take! MC wasnt strong enough to save mieko at that point and even still he tried to save her, bet u forgot that he tried it! And the only advantage he has, is knowing the future, why would he risk altering it!
I don't think people understand how an author improves as they continue writing. He has said from the beginning, that this is his very first series, expecting someone starting out to be flawless is unreasonable. He obviously hasn't had everything planned out from the beginning. The more he writes, the better he improves, and the more he understands his own characters. So Fujin has evolved in his personality, but thing a lot of people don't ever seem to mention, is how Fujin knows there is a countdown currently happening, to when the 4th Ninja War happens, and he understands that ultimately, a being from another world, is the final boss. So, of course he's completely focused on obtaining strength to survive this. With that said, his personality has evolved. The series isn't a love story, but the friends he has, he wants to protect.

There was a vote on Patreon made by the author, asking whether "she" should live or not, and in the end he didn't win, but the author made it clear that he had thought of a way for Fujin to save her, that is,She just didn't save it because she didn't want to.

The novel doesn't improve , there was a timeskip in anbu arc and for some reason MC gained emotions which isn't explained atall?? all characters are just filler the only real character in this is probably Hiruzen ? I think ... anyway there isn't much change even in 700+ chapters it became a bit boring. If your into perfect MC no weakness this is okayish ..there are many frustrations tho
What? He literally could just hide her ? And also not like the original 30+ something kids from uchiha survived which in the canon version Itachi killed all the kids to keep his brother safe ?? Even tho i don't think it's a "bad" novel , it does alot of things wrong and you just mentioned one of them

honest to god i feel that, even if i really like the story, but to me, he feels more like someone who is emotionally muted, just using it as a coping mechanism with the world around him. It was fiction to him at some point even if it is his real life in the story it feels like knowing full well when the 4th shinobi war happens almost everyone he could talk to is going to get washed by Madara has an affect on him. you could tell he feels sympathetic or at least feels in general when meiko was going to die he was going to try and stop it despite knowing he had no chance against someone like obito or itatchi, or when hoka was going to go after itatchi and he told him when you can beat me you can go after him essentially saying it's not happening.
