I read up to chapter 210 and was sadly disappointed by the MC's cowardice. spoiler He had an uchiha friend who later in the story was killed in the massacre, something the MC could have avoided, but he chose not to go save and collect sharigan, he even had the audacity to stand in front of her grave and pretend to be sad . What good are all these training arcs if he can't even save a friend (try)? The fanfic is good but the MC is one of those emotionless MC's that just runs after their goals without even looking at their childhood friends or teammates.

Oh, so he decided to just not save her. Drop. It doesn't make the mc cooler, just psychotic and someone who has no morals.

Horizon209Lv2

Thanks for the spoiler!

NOONE_SLEEPINTOKYOLv1

yeah . Left the fic for the same reason

jok3r_CZELv4

i read up to chapter 205 and dropped it for the same reason.

Tanuki36Lv3

I completely agree with you there. The MC isn't even emotionless, he clearly develops relatiols with other ninja (like Mieko :( ). the author even made her have a crush on him. It would have been okish if that was for character development but the author just skips all of it.

SuSunnyGoldenLightLv5

I dropped this novel after Chapter 203. disappointed MC; his personality is boring. At first, I thought he was calm and collected, but then I realized I felt no emotion at all after reading 200 chapters. Try reading Chapter 400 and still feel no emotion to start to like this MC....

Same here

Ugalblat12_1_2Lv3

Same this type of mc that only is after strength and is a coward in anything remotely dangerous feels boring and can’t attach yourself with the character .Fujin(the mc is the worse part of the novel) the rest is a 10 but it’s hard to read after you find out he isn’t cool and collected just emotions less and goal driven for strength (like what’s the point of being strong if your alone bruh)

lRyujiLv3

I think what makes this matter about him not saving her worse, is the fact he somehow decided to steal that priest's body and somehow can do it without much difficulty, though despite all of its issues, what makes it harder for me to actually enjoy even what I find good about this one, are the training montages because, by god, they are a little too much, to the point that I believe at least 50% of the story is him training.

Molten_PotatoLv4

what do you even expect him to do? Fight Itachi with barely jounin level strenght

AliopLv3

Guys , the reason he did not save her because he was afraid she would become sasuke 2.0 and you know once uchiha,s awaken mangakyo sharigan it is an instant buff, imagine a psychotic uchiha with mangakyo would have caused serious damage she would definitely learn about her clan ,s coup and would against the leaf . Thus mc did not want to deal with all of this although cruel is the best choice , Danzo would be alerted and would plot against him Danzo is no joke, you know how he killed Shishui with little to no reparation for it ,killing fujin would be child,s play for him and hiruzen would just turn a blind eye so both of would die Don't hate mc for it was not because of itachi but because of danzo and his lack of power at that time if it happened with mc,s current power level I think he would definitely save it a uchiha is a powerfull ally So guys Don't hate the fabric for this decision ,hate danzo according the author made the logical decision there would too much trouble to save her .

AliopLv3

Bro, he was not that powerful first off bow lets say even if he saves her and obito and itachi don't care and let her live . Danzo ordered the annihilation of the uchiha clan so do you really think she would be safe and not die like shisui it would child,s play for danzo and mc would also come under danzo,s radar and would have lot of trouble Spoiler Later in the story mc claims retribution Currently danzo has lost all standing only has 11 root nins a laboratory no standing in the council and hiruzen is ready to kill him as he hold,s fujin in better regard .

AliopLv3

I hope you read the fanfic if you are leaving for this reason, if you still leave for this reason I think you just wanted to see Fujin x mieko ship But sadly it is not and was mentioned earlier no relationships

AliopLv3

Like you are not afraid of dying There are 2 types of people who are not afraid of dying 1) Idiots 2) People with heroic and patriotic goals He is not brain washed and thus does not believe in risking your life no matter what latter when he is fighting with darui first time he has thrill of battle and wants to fight and he is not afraid the chaos he caused in suna caused rasa to come for him but he still did not stop he went toe to toe with elite jounin of suna, against roshi and Iwa squad, Akatsuchi and specially trained Iwa squad . Later he becomes powerfull enough not be killed even by s ranks so not giving examples

They were only together for 6 months that too never had any really touching. or emotional moments except that one with mieko against a priest (Jashin follower) The orphanage kids had no bonds with him The only bonds he has can be send is with maybe his sensei Senju rRenjiro and Hiruzen (greedy relation ship) and naruto (for fun and future help)

AliopLv3

You should not complain for that author already gave a disclaimer no relationships and it was a very logical decision from mc,s side

Idk about you but I find it thrilling maybe different taste then you should pursue some other fanfic where you are enthralled by the mc or fanfic

That's too risky, first of all he doesn't have formed any bonds with her as he was on team with her for few months, so risking his life for her is just illogical thing... He knew that she is gonna die so he distanced himself from his teammates from day 1, plus collecting sharingan? are you expecting him to have plot armour and not be discovered by root nins or anbu's patrolling?? he didn't had a particular date or time of when it will happen and even if it did, chances of retrieving a sharingan were very low, it's just illogical to risk too much for practically nothing... why would he risk trying to gain a sharingan ?? awakening Ms is not everybody's cup of tea, if it was then Uchihas would be the one ruling the world... YOu have been just spoiled by fanfics making Mcs awakening MS, it's just too illogical...

dustdwellerLv2

umm I think this fic accurately describes orochimaru with plot armour and plot knowledge! That's what makes it interesting for me. Have already read too many romances, lemons, harems and what not. At one point you get tired of them. Similarly there are lots of angst fanfics as well as ocs who revolutionize the world. I believe that this fic is unique, the power levels are believable, and I can't help but admire Fujin's dedication to his goal, cause however emotionless you might be it is difficult reach his level at the age that he did so naturally.

I read till chapter 127ish and in my opinion this is the best fanfic of naruto I've read so far. The MC has no cheats, but trains like there's no tomorrow and is cautious, which I think is another good point of this novel. It worth noting that he is an anti-hero type. He is no psychopath/sociopath/evil and he is also no saint/hero/happy-go-lucky type person(which in my opinion is very good, as I'm sick tired of reading about those.) This novel is for those that like or at least can manage training arcs. There is a lot of it, especially in the beginning when he is in the academy. Make no mistake though, the novel NEVER got boring! The training arcs were actually my favorite arcs so far. In fact, for me, the fact that the MC depends on himself for power-ups(at least as far as I have read) instead of seeking external sources of strenght(like a zero-tails, for example), or random lucky encounters, is something I enjoy very much. There is no sudden power-ups, or cheats. There is a little bit of comedy, especially in the interactions with Hiruzen, but just a little. This novel also explore the possibilities of wind style ninjutsus, beyond what the likes of temari, or even danzo, could ever hope to show in canon. Most importantly, at least as far as I could tell, there was no logical jumps anywhere. It's all very neat and creative, without making the reader feel alienated or flabbergasted in anyway. (Just the fact that there is no system granting him haki, or random space-type powers or whatever powers that do not fit at all in the universe is already fantastic to be honest...it's also why I started disliking fanfics with systems.) Oh and the pace so far is very good as well, at least for people like me that enjoy long stories with lots of adventures/training... though the adventure part happens later in the novel. Still, its awesome. It's a bit like a slice of life type novel, but faster and with a few time skips. I certainly enjoyed the pace very much. Btw, about stability of updates, I have no clue. I'm the type of reader that waits for hundreds of chapters to be released before I start reading a story. So yea. OH, and there was no romance in the novel so far. In summary, hopefully this novel will be 1k chapters long!

This fanfiction is a refreshing gem in the sea of isekai stories. The protagonist's journey into the Naruto world is a breath of fresh air as he navigates without the crutch of overpowered abilities. The author's commitment to realism shines through the protagonist's hard work and meticulous approach, adding a layer of believability often absent in similar tales. What truly sets this fanfic apart is the meticulous attention given to the Naruto world. Unlike other fics where the universe is a mere backdrop, here, every nuance is explored. The story doesn't revolve solely around the protagonist; it weaves seamlessly into the existing narrative, showcasing a deep respect for the source material. The absence of overpowered tropes is a welcome surprise. The protagonist's struggles and triumphs feel earned, creating a more engaging and relatable narrative. The injection of humor further elevates the story, offering moments of levity amid the challenges. Moreover, the author's incorporation of psychology, ranks, and politics adds layers of complexity, transforming the narrative into a well-rounded exploration of the Naruto world. This fanfic doesn't just retell a tale; it enriches and expands upon the established lore. In essence, this fanfiction stands out as a masterpiece, blending a well-crafted protagonist, a respectful treatment of the source material, and a narrative that seamlessly integrates humor, psychology, and political intrigue. It's a captivating journey that sets a high bar for fanfiction in the Naruto universe. I hope you read this masterpiece ;)

At Chapter 23 This is a very good Naruto fanfiction. The writing quality is very good. The sentences are well structured and easy to understand and the grammar is also very good. The chapters are also quite long which is even better. The story is developing very well and is focused on the MC. There is almost no inconsistency in the story so far and the MC is developing at a very reasonable pace for someone having future knowledge of the Naruto world. So far there have been very few characters which have been focused upon other than the MC, with them being his Academy Sensei and the Third Hokage. This aspect is very good as I don't want to read more about characters other than the MC, other than their interaction with the MC and their perception of the MC and his actions. And while the story may feel somewhat slow to others, I enjoy reading about how the MC trains and plans for the future. This will lay a very good groundwork for future development of the story. The MC has a calm and rational personality and thoroughly plans his course of action, such as he follows a very well hashed out training plan. He is not OP from the start and does not have any cheats like a system or wishes from GOD or ROB, which makes this fic even better. There has been a lack of good naruto fanfictions such as this one which does not have any cheats and where the MC is also calm and rational without being an anti-hero or an outright villain. The MC is also not arrogant even though he has been at the top of his class for 2 years and though he is cautious to not gain any unwanted attention from Danzo, he doesn't portray himself as weak. So overall I am very satisfied with this fanfic and looking forward to new chapters. I also hope that the author completes this fanfic. Kudos to the author.
