No, no. Precisely, I am complaining about how so many people believe in the love potion theory when it's simply ridiculous and nonesensical. Love potions make you turn in love immediatly to an obsessive point with the first person you see. That's literally the opposite of what happened to Harry since he started having feelings for Ginny in a progressive way, and mostly looking her from far away. You guys don't understand love potions, those things are terrifying, they make you unable to think of anything but the person you fell for... quite literally. Remember the state Ron was in when he opened that letter that was supposed to be for Harry from one of his fangirls? Yeah, simply the opposite of what happened with Harry and Ginny. So no, there's no points of view here, nothing subjective or open for debate. Of course, the author can use it as an AU, what I hate is comments and author saying this is what probably happened in canon when it's simply fake.

There's no need to justify that much, many people take that as canon and that's why it's not even considered a theory, just a fact. Harry falling in love was progressive, which is the absolute opposite of what love potions do.
