Multiversal Chronicles: Journeys Beyond Unknown

“Best of luck on your journey, Aerin Thorne El Vinterholm. You’ll no doubt encounter numerous challenges in your path, but I have faith that you’d do well.” the Creator said as Aerin got sucked into the wormhole. *** “Hmm...where am I?” He looked around in the small cabin he found himself in, but as he got more time to familiarize well with the situation, a stark realization gripped him. ‘Wait a minute...Is this Teyvat?!’ As Aerin met and interacted with more characters from the game, he realized that his earlier assumption was correct. He was in the world of Genshin Impact. *** As he lived here over the years, he befriended lots of friends and made many memories there. On one instance, he listened closely to a certain Pirate Queen as she spoke standing on the deck, “For as long as I can remember back into my youth, I've always had this itch for the open sea. Yet, as I now actually cast my eyes back, it ain't the adventure or the exploration I was after; it was the taste of freedom.” And in another, he sat in the same carriage as a strange girl with flower-shaped pupils, “Now, Aerin, you know I prefer my snacks with a bit more... spice. How about some pickled skulls with a side of fermented ghoul tears? Now that's a breakfast fit for me!” ‘Sigh, these people are really a bit too much for me.’ He could only shake his head at their weird antics... *** A/N: A wholesome story with special emphasis on dialogues and interactions of people with our MC. It's a multiversal story. If you want to skip prologue, start reading from chapter 8 since the main story starts from there only.

Less Than Nothing

"What are we doing Alex?" He breathes against my lips. That's too sensible of a question, so I ignore it. My brain has yet to return to my body, and right now that is the last thing I'm worried about. "Stay." I whisper against his mouth, my words flowing without any thought. "Stay?" He sits up fully, which results in me straddling him. His expression is full of curiosity and mild shock. "Like stay stay?" I don't respond with words. I'm afraid if I open my mouth, I'll start to overthink and I can't afford that. Instead, I pull my shirt over my head. I do it confidently, in spite of my boldness starting to dissipate as the seconds pass. Ryan swallows. His eyes trail down to my breasts, before he looks at me again with a look I can't name. "Are you sure?" He stares into me. "Promise me you're sure." "I'm sure." I tell him softly. "I promise." ******* ALEXANDRA MONET is a twenty two year old girl, freshly out of college. After landing her dream job working for top fashion designer Adrienne Walker, she moves from a small town in Florida, to the boisterous city of New York. Since before she moved, Alex mapped out a clear plan for the direction of her life. None of which could prepare her for RYAN RUSSO...the snarky, sarcastic boy who she'll soon find herself thinking about constantly. As much as the two think they can't stand each other, there's an underlying attraction that eventually grows too strong for either them to bare. So they make an agreement... An agreement that is supposed to be void of any and all feelings, but over time it becomes a lot harder than expected. It's supposed to mean nothing. Less than nothing, but unfortunately some things just don't go as planned. Warning: Mature scenes and language.

Returning to Twelve Years

Elfrieda Ashtyn had her life away from the vigor where she was twelve years ago. As she is now 18 and is in college, she focused on her school life more than anything else. But even so, she felt like she was missing something. No, not something, more like….someone. She made herself busy with the thought that she is just baffled, maybe she was just feeling messed up but one sudden encounter made her life turn around. For better or maybe for worse. Now that she found it, she's now tangled in the present where twelve years from the past caught up to her, and there's no way she can outrun it but to return to it and embrace it as a whole. “Have…have we met before?” the man stammered. Straightforwardly, she responded with thinking not in thought, “No, I'm pretty sure not.” The man snickered and briefly stole a glance from her. His glances felt warm to her skin, she rolled her eyes and spoke without looking at him, but she was facing straightly forward.  “What are you looking at?” she said, sounding rather callous toward the man. “Sorry…” he looked away with a hint of embarrassment coming to his eyes. “I-I just thought…I met you before,” he spoke lowly. As she heard it, she stared up at him and crossed her legs as she seated whilst the man stood holding on to the metal railing up by the bus's awning. “Then, if you are that familiar with me, can you state where we have met? I am pretty sure I remember every person I encounter.” she confidently confided. He looked at her and with austerity he spoke, “I am pretty uncertain, but from the time I laid eyes on you, I kept asking myself, have we met before?” He looked into her eyes as he added, “I don't know why it's all a blur but….I think I know you.” Elle didn't seem to like it, she wouldn't like to be bothered by some unnecessary talk that is out of certainty. “Maybe in another life, I knew you…” she said. The bus stopped and Elle had to leave, she stood up and lifted her bag as she ambled towards the bus's exit. Before she could've stepped into a case, she looked at him as their eyes met and she said, “Til the next time we meet, I hope you become certain where we encountered. Enlighten me about yourself when you do.” Author: Callixee Book Cover Photo not mine Credits to the artist/owner
