Meet Baldet, your not so average Earthling, thrust into the fantastical realm of Eldora. Now, Baldet wasn't exactly given superhero powers by the goddess who summoned him. It's like she ordered a pizza and forgot to ask for extra cheese, like the universe handed him a "Build Your Own Hero" kit and said, "Good luck!" a cosmic oversight. So, here's our hero, fighting monsters with nothing but his determination and a trusty toothpick.
After years of battling creatures that could make a dragon blush, Baldet decides he's earned a break. Retirement plan? Gambling and visits to establishments of, let's say, "unique charm" (whore houses). Picture Baldet at a poker table, trying to bluff a minotaur. Spoiler alert: it doesn't end well for the minotaur.
And just when Baldet thinks he's living the high stakes dream, cue the goddess. Not a knock on the door, mind you, but a celestial entrance right in the middle of brothel. The goddess, with a raised divine eyebrow, wonders why Baldet isn't out there being the hero Eldora ordered from Amazon Prime. Baldet, ever the quick thinker, contemplates if his subscription to "Monster Slayer Deluxe" got canceled.
Now, Baldet, in the midst of his existential crisis, questions the goddess's grand plan. "Why save a world that treats me like a side quest NPC?" he wonders. It's a cosmic therapy session, folks.
But wait, there's more. The goddess, unamused by Baldet's reluctance, decides to kick him out of Eldora. It's like getting evicted from your favorite pub but on a cosmic scale. And here's the kicker; Baldet thinks he's going back to Earth, the comfort zone of coffee shops and Wi-Fi.
Plot twist! Instead of his comfy couch, Baldet finds himself in a realm scarier than Monday mornings, a place even more dangerous than Eldora. Talk about cosmic irony.
