He found the new master of the Temporal Demon Spirit Book, Nie Li. After gazing into Nie Li's destiny, he realized that Nie Li was a future helper groomed by the Space-Time Immortal's Spirit within the Temporal Demon Spirit Book. Thus, the Celestial Immortal chose an individual from the modern earth who could defeat Nie Li and acquire the Temporal Demon Spirit Book for him. Alan Semmens was chosen for this great task.
