Changing the order

Shen Xiu's statement caused most of the guards in the courtyard to disperse. She was of a higher generation as compared to Shen Fei. Even though Shen Fei was the future family head of the Sacred Family, his influence was still slightly inferior to someone of a higher generation to him.

Shen Fei was extremely annoyed when he saw his aunt appear at such a time.

"…No, Aunt. I don't have any issue with that. But why would you call Director Yang Xin to our mansion?" Shen Fei asked her somewhat curiously.

Shen Xiu rolled her eyes while speaking to him with a disdainful tone, "You don't need to know that yet."

"…I understand," Shen Fei spoke. Since Shen Xiu had purposely mentioned 'yet', it meant she couldn't speak it in front of everyone.

Meanwhile, Yang Xin was startled as she saw Shen Xiu stand up for her. However, she made a bold guess and felt that Shen Xiu and Alan were linked.

Shen Xiu soon approached Yang Xin and spoke, "Our discussion was fruitful, Director Yang. Make sure to keep your word."

"I understand," Yang Xin spoke with a grim tone as she hurriedly left the Sacred Family Mansion.

After Yang Xin was gone, Shen Xiu turned around to return to her room.

The entire escapade left Shen Fei somewhat stunned. He hadn't expected to see Yang Xin here, and what startled him even more was that it was his aunt who held a secret meeting with that woman.

Just what was Shen Xiu discussing with Yang Xin in secret?

In the meantime, Shen Xiu entered Alan's room. She saw Alan seated on his chair with an exasperated scowl.

"…That woman couldn't even leave secretly. Now the entire Sacred Family knows that Director Yang Xin was here!" Alan spoke with an annoyed tone.

"Yeah. Moreover, all the fighters in the Sacred Family know that she came to meet me. My brother will soon inquire me about this matter," Shen Xiu spoke.

"…No choice. Tell him that Director Yang Xin was here to discuss business with you. Tell him that she will increase the elixir and pellet quota for the Sacred Family, but she is asking for a high price. You have accepted the deal and the price list will be sent to you soon," Alan instructed his aunt while standing up.

Shen Xiu raised her brow as she heard those instructions, "And where are you going?"

"To correct this mistake," Alan spoke before he vanished into thin air.

Shen Xiu was startled as she could no longer sense Alan's aura. He accomplished this by utilizing the Shadow Devil Demon Spirit's Void Form Ability.

It took Alan barely half an hour to reach Yang Xin's location.

"Do not stop walking," Yang Xin suddenly heard Alan's voice.

She was startled as she looked around to know his location. However, Yang Xin heard another whisper, "Do not turn around. Just walk normally."

Yang Xin heard another whisper, but this time through her other ear. She was sure that Alan was nearby. There was no other way to explain those whispers!

"You have created a big problem for me and yourself. The fact that you were in the Sacred Family Mansion was supposed to stay a secret. However, you created such a large commotion that it's impossible to contain this information," Alan spoke coldly.

Yang Xin clenched her fists as she felt that Alan was being too cruel. She didn't wish to create that commotion.

"However, the fact that you kept your mouth shut was a wise decision. For that, I am willing to look past your error," Alan further added.

For some reason, Yang Xin felt relieved. She was unsure what Alan would do if he was truly angry at her.

He held her lifeline in his hands in the form of that contract.

"…Inform the Alchemy Association President that you met with Shen Xiu and struck a deal with her regarding increasing the quota of the Elixir and Pellets to the Sacred Family for a fairly high price. For this, you must set the price according to your standards that the President of the Alchemy Association will be forced to accept. I believe you should be able to handle it."

Alan's voice drifted off near the end. It was clear that he was moving farther away from Yang Xin. Yang Xin was lost in deep thought as she planned to accomplish this task.

In the meantime, Shen Xiu approached her brother to explain the entire situation to him.

Shen Hong remained impassive after hearing this information. He informed Shen Xiu, "Keep this deal on hold until we can get the price of those elixirs."

In reality, the price of those elixirs mattered little to Shen Hong. He just wanted to use this time to utilize the Dark Guild's funds and buy those elixirs and pellets for the Sacred Family.

The Demon Lord was in seclusion right now and Shen Hong's position as the Vice-Master of the Dark Guild was good enough to extract the Dark Guild's funds.

Moreover, Shen Hong knew that the Demon Lord wouldn't be furious at him as long as Shen Hong shared those elixirs and pellets with the Dark Guild.

Since the Sacred Family was a part of the Dark Guild, making it stronger would in turn make the Dark Guild stronger as a whole.

Shen Xiu, however, didn't know about any of this. She affirmatively nodded her head before leaving his room.

The next day, Shen Xiu visited the Holy Orchid Institute. However, instead of visiting the Fighter Apprentice Class, she entered the Genius Class.

The homeroom teacher of the Genius Class had yet to arrive. Meanwhile, the students were very startled to see Shen Xiu in their class.

Shen Xiu was very famous in the Holy Orchid Institute because of her illustrious background.

"You, come out. I need to talk to you," Shen Xiu chose a fighter from the Genius Class.

This fighter was utterly terrified as Shen Xiu chose him. He wondered what she wanted from him.

In reality, Shen Xiu chose him because of his 3 Star Bronze Rank Cultivation. He belonged to the Ao Cloud Family and his name was Long Xu.
