Well my life wasn't that interesting to begin with

So I don't really have any regrets.

I was expecting the pearly gates or maybe the pit of hell... Or those anime tropes...

I guess I got lucky.

Ah right! My mother's quirk is temperature manipulation, although is sounds super cool she doesn't have enough training to use it well and she has already given up on being a hero. Well it's free air conditioning anyway

Leaving my inner monologue in peace I continue to listen to their "love-hate argument"

Long story short, I was sent to a normal kindergarten a true shocker! Well, we're from a middle-class family so I shouldn't be expecting maids and butlers or some disguised human trafficking ring...

"Rimuru! play with us!" I was again approached by one of the children to play, honestly they give me headaches but ill still play with them,

I've got to put on the facade of a normal child 

"Sure Annie I'll play with you" giving her a beaming smile and walking with her towards her group, my headache only became stronger

'They're such a damn bother... at least playing with blocks wouldn't erode my iq'

ouch damn, I might actually have a migraine, like a real one... without even realizing I felt hazy and plopped straight into the ground.... unconscious.
