ugh.... what happened?

[Detected multiple anomalies. would you like me to list them?]

huh...? Raphael? you're here?

right, what happened?

[I was unable to contact you fortunately, I managed to hijack the evolution of [quirk awakening] and reach you]

wait wait wait my quirk awakened? and you replaced it?

[Yes. seeing as your quirk wouldn't be as beneficial as returning all of your stats, I replaced myself and all of your previous skills with the quirk awakening.]

huh, that's useful... opening my eyes to the infirmary's ceiling I could see Annie's worried expression.

"oi, why are you looking so sad for?"

"ah! Rimuru! Are you alright? you just fell and didn't wake up!" seeing her about to throw a tantrum I looked around and spotted a mirror

with beautiful crimson eyes, short light blue hair, and a face almost resembling a woman I looked at myself 'still cute'

(completely forgot to describe my looks in the previous chap sorry... tehe)

although my pale smooth skin looked perfect I could see small scuff marks on my forehead, I fell face-first into the dirt. remembering I still have a guest

"Annie, I am completely fine! Even the earth can't hurt my handsome face hehe" A bit of narcissism never hurt anyone ;)

"shut up Rimuru you look like a girl!" youch that hits hard

trying to comfort Annie, the poor girl had tears in her eyes but before I could say something super very motivational I saw my parents entering the room.

"awww baby are you alright?" seeing my mom's concerned face I felt a little better... until.....

"waaaaaaa they hurt my little babyyyyyy" Barging into the room like he attends this kindergarten my father enters crying rivers

"Gosh deary can you be a little more manly, even Rimuru is more manly than you, and he's a baby!" Mom comes back with a snarky remark

she should definitely teach him to act a little better.... well he acts obediently when they're.... nevermind

"How could I! They were murdering my one and only Rimuuuuu"

"stop with the exaggeration he just passed out" eh? Shouldn't you be a little more concerned for me?

"huh? you don't care for our child? how dare you!" my father actually acted somewhat normally? :shock:

"Right Right! Rimmuu baby, are you alright?" even she seems somewhat surprised

"it alright Mom I'm okay I just felt weird, and then everything went fuzzy" acting lvl100

"my... could you have... awakened your quirk?" ?!?!? how did my mom know? well, I didn't really awaken my quirk but replaced it.... anyway!

"How did you know mum?"

"well, quirk awakening often happens at the age of 4.. to be honest, I was scared you might not awaken a quirk, or worse get a useless one like your father" my mother spoke disregarding my father who froze over like a statue I could almost hear [critical hit!]

"then yes Mum I think I did... I have this weird feeling" ahhh perfect acting, I am like Shakespeare with how my lines are said :pride:

"yes!" x2 both my mother and father said simultaneously 

"We better go and get your quirk comprehension test! you will become the pride of our family and be 1# hero overnight!!! I can already hear the headlines" Seeing my mother being strangely enthusiastic I felt a little strange but hey! new goal acquired: become 1# hero

*a few days later*

sitting in the waiting room at the doctor's office next to my overly enthusiastic parents I began pondering

hmmm considering I just got Rimuru's skills I should probably hide most of them. having too many abilities is just asking to have a target on my back

and I also found out that I'm not as op as I thought.

*cool flashback.sfx*

"so I can't use all of my powers?"

[Yes. due to you being in a new vessel, some of your skills aren't compatible as they are meant to be used by a slime]

"bummer... what skills did I lose?"

[you lost most of your resistances, regeneration, and magical abilities. in addition, most of your other skills are heavily weakened, I recommend you train your vessel to be able to handle the other skills]

"Dammit, this is a "one for all" situation, I don't want to be struggling all the time like Midoriya"

[Dont worry, your weakened skills won't hurt you at all, although I'd recommend you should primarily use [ultimate skill: beelzebub] as it is the most compatible with your new vessel, thus being the least weakened]

"oh right you're supposed to help me out... thanks"

*cool flashback end.sfx*

considering what Raphael told me, I should act like [beelzbub] is my quirk. using my genius I immediately had a plan.

*ding dong*

the sound of the alert woke me up from my genius planning montage i readied myself to show my "quirk"

"Are you ready Rimmu? I'm so curious what your quirk is!" my mother stood up with a smile, while my father.... well he's doing his obedient dog behavior

"I was born ready :smirk:" 

"ahem- please head inside" the face of the doctor peeked outside of his office, inviting us in.

entering the office what I saw is something you would expect out of a doctor's office... well except all the testing doodads that look like they could kill an average person.

"so might I ask what your quirk is... or just a description is fine, we will be testing it anyway," the doctor said in a relaxed manner

"well we don't actually know, as soon as he awakened it we set up an appointment" my mother answered as if reading off a script

"hmmm I see, well let's test it and figure it out," again the doctor acting relaxed while looking at my medical records, empty of course as I am a behaved child!

soon the doctor stood up and walked towards a machine... no idea what it does

"try to activate your quirk, the machine will test any changes in your body, so we can figure out what it does... if your quirk is less obvious than most" coooool I walked onto the platform and looked into what I would guess is testing apparatus.

"Alright give it all you've got," the doctor said to me while sitting next to a computer with all sorts of numbers and photos,

I could see my parents cheering me on with a thumbs-up

extending my hand forward I called upon my inner power muttering

[beelzebub]

suddenly a black mist extended from my arm and lashed out at the machine 

*crash* *shatter*

dammit, it's harder to control than it looks, like grasping at.... well mist

I looked toward the doctor with an awkward look...

"hehe... is that alright?" I looked at him like I didn't just destroy a high-tech piece of equipment

snapping out of his stupor he quickly said.

"it's alright.. it appears we will need to use a more specialized test for your quirk.." standing up from his chair, he went toward another corner of the testing area where an "emission type quirk" label was placed on a machine

(find out in the next chapter... uh something new! What will he call his quirk? what will his parents think?)

(Note: I want to hurry to the whole academia stuff, but I want to strengthen the foundation of the story)
