Synopsis

Seth Evergreen was the greatest scientist of his time. With his insatiable hunger for knowledge and groundbreaking discoveries, he had made Earth reach new heights of prosperity and scientific advancements. But everything changed when he stumbled upon the life equation, cracking it and discovering the fabled 'healing factor.' Seth believed he had found the key to eternal youth and announced his discovery to the world in the form of a new drug. But then the mutations began. The human body, it seemed, was not meant to be perfect. The drug's effects began to spiral out of control, creating monsters out of those who had taken it. After spending 7 years trying to remedy his mistake, he finally gave up and pulled the trigger. But when he opened his eyes again, he found himself in a world, unlike anything he had ever seen before. The world of Gilea, where magic and mana exist, and the strong prey on the weak. Determined to complete what he had failed to do in his last life, Seth, now known as Silas Skylark, sets out to become the strongest mage, to take Gilea out of the dark ages and into an age of prosperity and change. Unbeknownst to him, the life equation branded itself into his soul, morphing his body and mind into a being with only one goal... To evolve! But as the shadow of his past looms over him and powerful forces seek to control him, Silas must overcome weaknesses and reach new heights. Will he succeed in his quest to bring prosperity and change to this world, or will his past sins come back to haunt him once again? ---------------------Socials--------------------- Discord: https://discord.gg/2SpSXw2jDM Twitter: https://twitter.com/An1mosity_?s=09 --------------------Goals----------------------- Golden Tickets (Per Month): -100 Golden Tickets = 1 Extra Chapter -300 Golden Tickets = 5 Extra Chapters -500 Golden Tickets = 10 Extra Chapters ------------------------------------------------- Gifts: -Castle = 1 Extra Chapter -Spacecraft = 3 Extra Chapters -Golden Gachapon = 5 Extra Chapters {Do take note that if you do give a spacecraft or a golden gachapon, I might not be capable of giving you the chapters on the same day. Chapter 1Rebirth [1] - The Price Of Knowledge

Earth - Year: 2061

A man with black hair and golden yellow eyes sat atop a building and ate his lunch while looking into the sunset.

Raising the sandwich to his mouth, he took one bite after the other until he had finished it.

His rations had run out, and for the last 7 years of his life, he had tried everything he could to bring Earth back to the way it was before its fall.

The man smiled and took out his revolver before flicking it to the side and putting a single bullet in it.

"This has to be my worst day yet." He chuckled.

The man snapped the revolver to the side, closing it before spinning the cylinder and pointing the gun at the roof of his mouth.

That man was Seth Evergreen, a 50-year-old man who dedicated his life to pursuing knowledge and was the greatest scientist of his generation.

While his intelligence was nothing to scoff at, his IQ didn't compare to that of great scientists like Einstein and Newton. However, it wasn't his intelligence that built his ladder to the top, but his insatiable hunger for knowledge.

Seth was orphaned after being abandoned by his parents at a fire station a few days after his birth. However, in a way, abandoning him was the best thing to ever happen to him, since it was only then that the hole in his heart opened up and craved to be filled with something else.

However, for a few months, he had no idea what his body wanted from him. Or at least that was the case until he picked up his first book.

The moment he finished reading the book, he felt like a spark had been created inside his soul, and it was waiting to be satiated.

He couldn't stop himself afterward. It was the first time he had ever felt something like that in his life, so he never let go of that feeling and strived to feel it every day.

However, that spark grew into an insatiable hunger and greed for knowledge that he couldn't control ever since.

His advancement was world-changing. He created cures for hundreds of diseases and illnesses and discovered/created technological and scientific advancements that forever changed human society.

In his pursuit of creating the perfect species, Seth came upon something he shouldn't have.

He had cracked the life equation and discovered the 'healing factor,' something capable of curing all diseases known to man, even aging.

One might have called it enlightenment at the time, but now that Seth looked back, it was nothing but a curse.

Seth published his new 'medicine' and advertised it as a drug capable of restoring age and giving people eternal youth. And just like the brainless fools humans have always been, they believed him; since when was the last time Seth Evergreen had been wrong about something?

That was their first and only mistake. The healing factor didn't reveal itself because humanity was ready... It revealed itself to Seth because he was ready...

In less than a month, the human population had begun to mutate.

Some became monsters beyond recognition, and others became a mutated gorefest of humans clinging to life with the very little will that remained in them after losing everything they once had.

Seth had tried to find a way to bring back humanity for over 7 years, yet now that his rations were gone and supplies were dwindling, he lost all hope.

For once the spark that lit his soul vanished.

He was no longer Seth Evergreen, a man who saved humanity from thousands of diseases while advancing technology by a hundred years...

To the survivors, he was now known as Seth, the destroyer of Earth.

And so, he pulled the trigger, and for the first time since he began this ritual, the gun finally heard his pleas.

*Bang*

At that moment, his life flashed before his eyes. He wasn't technically a good man... No, he was a selfish one who did everything in pursuit of his own goals, yet no matter how many regrets he had, it no longer mattered.

And so, a bright flash of light blinded him before everything became black, and he returned to the great abyss that lay between life and death.

He felt at peace, yet that only lasted for a few moments.

The abyss flashed green for a moment before a symbol appeared before him.

An emerald eight-pointed star encapsulated in a circle of the same color appeared before him. It was shrouded with a golden-emerald aura that expanded to the ends of the abyss.

Seth recognized the symbol... No, he was the one who had discovered the symbol.

What shone before him was the inscription of the life equation, and it had revealed itself to him once more...

The light faded, and everything returned to black once more...

*GASP*

Seth opened his eyes while gasping for air.

His heart was racing, and his body screamed in pain.

His hands were covered in blood... No, those weren't his hands... They were green and disgustingly large for his body.

He was covered in blue blood... His own blood. But since when was his blood blue?

Seth slowly crawled to a nearby pool of water. He seemed to be in some kind of cavern, but the colors around him didn't make sense... They were so much more than anything he had seen on Earth, yet it almost seemed natural.

He struggled to get up, but when he finally looked into the pool of water, he didn't see a reflection of himself.

He saw a grotesque green-skinned creature look back at him, making him almost fall back in shock.

However, before he could do so, he saw a blade slash through his neck, decapitating him instantly and dropping his head into the small pond.

Seth found himself in the dark void once more. The emerald eight-pointed star emblem appeared again before sending him into another body. This time he was a horse that had just been shot in the head.

The buildings and clothes of the humans around him looked victorian, and as he stood up, he turned around and looked right down at the barrel of a shotgun before his brains were blown out the other side.

Then it happened again, and again, and again, until finally, Seth had lost count of all the lives lived.

It felt like he had tried out every creature out there, from an ant to a whale; he had done it all.

However, when he saw the emerald emblem appear before him, there was a feeling inside him that told him that this life would be different.

The green emblem shone brighter than ever until it finally encapsulated his vision.

'Hmm? How the hell did I die already?' Seth asked himself while looking around. Everything around him was just black, and he couldn't understand why.

Yet, instead of seeing the green emblem, this time, he saw a light at the end of the tunnel. He also felt something around his neck, but he completely ignored it.

Was he finally going to heaven? Or was this just a way to keep him from going mad just to return him back to his hell for his sins?

When he finally swam to the other side, the blinding light forced his eyes shut as a pair of delicate yet enormous hands held him.

'Giants? Wait, no... Holy shit I'm finally human! A human baby, but still a human!" Seth cheered with joy, making everyone in the room look at eachother with confusion after hearing the newborn's weird cry.

Earth's Greatest Magus

#Top 20 Webnovel Best Sellers 2021, 2022, 2023, and in 2024 #### History is said to be written by the victors. If so, how about Earth's history? Two millennia ago, a young boy named Emery met a tragic fate. In his final moments, he was transmigrated and accepted into the Universe's most prestigious school of magic. “You are among the chosen few from thousands of human worlds. Whether you seize this opportunity or not, is up to you. You are at Magus Academy, the pinnacle of humanity's ingenuity. Magic, science, and might are all within reach for those who dare to pursue them." [Scan complete - Quadruple affinity. Water, Earth, Plant, and Darkness.] "A quadruple acolyte! Only one in tens of thousands of acolytes possess this!" Thus began Emery’s journey together with his 4 friends from the furthest corner of Earth. Each year they returned to Earth to grow, seek revenge, save the princess, conquer the world, and become Earth's Greatest Magus. Their names are still etched in our history books to this day. Authors Note: I have always been fascinated by writing fantasy relating to historical facts. In this story, you will find characters inspired by real-world myth and legend. The universe I created hopefully will make the reader's imagination excited and logically plausible. I hope you enjoy it. ### Here are some key aspects you'll encounter: MC: The protagonist follows the classic weak-to-strong arc. World: Picture a blend of Harry Potter and Star Wars. System: While it's primarily a magic-based story, there's a structured system in place that's easy to follow. Additionally, elements of cultivation. Harem: No, there are several female interests. But I enjoy romance first. So even if there will be more than one love interest it will be deep. Note: English is not my first language, but you'll notice that my writing and English skills gradually improve throughout the chapters. Other: The novel delves into deep research on science and history, enriching the storyline with factual and intriguing details. Give it a read—you might be pleasantly surprised by what unfolds. I love this novel, and I'm certain that it's going to be one of the best on this app. Let me break it down. Writing quality: 5/5 The writing quality is spectacular. It has good grammar (surprising for a webnovel novel), great word play that makes sentences flow smoothly, and even better descriptions (if the synopsis doesn't show you that already). The fight scenes are incredibly done too. I don't know how the author did it, but some fights feel like they come to life, while others have been written in a way that allows you to put yourself in the place of the mc. Story Development: 5/5 The pacing is amazing! The author doesn't tell you more than you need to know. Its pacing is incredible especially for a reincarnation story, since most other stories either cut to the mc being 14+ years old or take far too long describing the younger years of the mc. The author has somehow found a cozy middle area where it isn't too slow to the point you get bored, and isn't too fast to the point where the author is skipping many things that should be explained. Character Designs: 5/5 The characters not only feel alive, they also feel real. The interactions between the MC's parents feel real. The emotions and reactions feel real. The characters are also very likable. Silas (the mc) has an older sister, but unlike many of the novels on here, she isn't annoying. she's real, and extremely likable at that. The father is kind of goofy but can be serious, the mother is strict but she makes mistakes of her own and is called out for it. The grandmother is a little bit of a D to everyone as she always makes random funny but rude comments (doesn't care about etiquette), but she's been shown to care for her grandchildren. The mc himself is flawed. he isn't social but he tries. He regrets things about his past, but he's still ruthless and doesn't regret many of the things we would have considered "bad". he has his own moral compass, and I love that about him. Updating Stability: 5/5 7 times a week, long chapters. Something always happens in each chapter, making them feel unique and worth the read. World Background: 5/5 The world feels large. the magic system is big, but not complete. The main character is a scientist, so I can only assume that in the future he will add new things to the magic system and make new discoveries. He even mentions that the magic system is "too limiting" and that he will have to change it. He also mentions that he will use mana for technological advancements he was unable to complete in his past life, and since this novel had kingdom building as one of the tags, you can see in what direction this might go. On the discord server, the author has also stated that there is much more about the world that we still don't know, so I'm waiting for that but I'm certain it will be amazing. 5/5 overall, great novel so far. i can only hope for its success so more people can witness it.

If you’ve read Supreme Magus you can skip the first 15 chapters. This book reminds me of Warlock of the Magus World if the author didn’t know how to write. The sheer audacity is there but the author has no handles on interactions, plot, foreshadowing, and intelligence. Writing fluctuates every chapter it feels like a different author is taking charge of the story. Character inconsistencies are at large and author narration doesn’t make sense. He establishes a rule then break it the next chapter. (Spoiler: A woman believes she mades him her slave, then after a day she sends forty assassins to kill him. Why would she do that to someone she has full control of? One second a guys an entire army to prevent anyone from knowing his name then next chapter the guy tells everyone and her mother his full identity, skillset, blessings and whatever. Happened two times already and has caused him more problems than he could handle. ) There’s no proper baseline of how things worked so instead of being immersed in the story you are threwn recklessly around it. Instead of being properly immersed in the world I feel like reading through a blurred window. If I didn’t get reminded of how the author killed billions of people and ruled the earth every chapter I probably wouldnt have known because of the character acts. The main character wouldnt care about the character as long as their on screen but as soon as they have a tiny interaction with mc he would rather share all his secrets to sacrifice for the character.

Honest reviews are here.. I only read up to Ch100, and after that, I decided to stop reading this novel.. This novel is about MC, who keeps reincarnated countless times after he learns "Life equation" on earth.. MC is reincarnated as goblin, horse, and so on until one day, he reincarnated as fetus who in the progress coming out from his mother ehm.. MC got the memories and knowledge of his past life, but no skill is brought back into this life.. MC got a system to keep him in check.. No quest or mission is given, no communication with the system, and no OP cheat.. You will see the journey of the "baby MC" growth progress.. From the days he is born until he grows older.. By older, I mean 6 years old.. Yes, at Ch.100, MC is still 6 years old kid.. And as MC has going thru many reincarnated cycles, he is not acting as a child at all.. Just by the way MC speaks (rude and ill-mannered) and action (manipulative his own family).. The author ruins the image of innocent kids.. In this novel, the author tries to make MC strong but not overpowered.. You will see how many times MC is in life and death situation at a toddler or kid age.. Instead of letting MC have a peaceful growth phase and learning arc at a young age, the author skipped that and threw MC into crisis situations many times.. There are many times you would see that the author keeps changing the character or outline of the story.. For example, you think MC is just a "curious" individual type of person, but then later, MC seems like "psychopath" and even further later on, MC changed into "willing to do anything" for his family.. There are also other cases, like when you read at the beginning, you will feel that MC has a weak father, but later, his seem weak father is actually strong.. The storyline also changes, like at first, MC is at his village with his family, but later, MC suddenly joins Evil Organisation without mentioning his city/village or his family.. I feel like I am reading a different novel.. The author also uses new terms for power levels like Oryx, Garnett, Topaz, Amethyst, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, and Diamond.. This is my first time that I heard this type of magic power level.. Even I'm not sure if I list it right.. There are also a character that you thought might become his rival or master (important characters for this novel), but they died later on. So, this novel is unpredictable and keeps changing the pace of the storyline and character from a wisp of thought of the author..

final review upto chapter 100... story is average with some flaw and some good point.. cons:- 1)- mc constantly getting into life and death situation. form age 1.5 he is fighting life and death situation as trouble always come to him and boom plot armor survie.. he lives in no name town with all the family member too strong and care for him but still he always end up life and death situation and somehow survive cause he just learned some fking spell few days ago.. 2) the way he use and manipulate his sweet and caring family is very disgusting. he didn't even make sure to make his sister happy who litraly died protecting him. and yeah people are trash family is not smart enough blalbalba ..this all the thing that mc thinks.. but if you see mc from unbiased point he would seem disgusting as a family member his sister end up distancing herself from everyone due to mc mistake and all mc did was played victim card while his sister end up taking blames for mc mistake.. 3) fight is boring and long.. every fight is boring and long the reason is - mc 2 paragraph of internal monoloug after every villains cliche acting or dialouge.. 4) mc hides everything from his family for no reason. and no he doesn't hides his power from rest of the world .. he just lie to his family even if he doesn't need to.... well it's not about trust issue as everyone already know how poerful he is so what is the point of changing the source of his power... but it's okey ... first 3 point is what I trully don't like about this story. pros:- nice story , smart mc , good power system , good grammar .
