Silence fell upon the duo.
Silas didn't say a single word because of the shock, while the girl beside him looked at him with a gentle smile, as if she was patiently waiting for him to say something.
This silence continued for almost 10 minutes, but it wasn't awkward in any way. Or at least that was the case for the girl.
Silas, on the other hand, was struggling to keep his composure. Many thoughts were surfacing at the back of his mind, but he tried his best to keep them in check.
The girl simply waited for what he was going to say, while Silas had a slightly agitated expression on his face.
'When does this damn lecturer get here!' Silas thought, secretly praying to the life equation to bring the professor into the classroom early.
