see. now that he's refused "power increase method 1" they're going to have to manually give him power some other way. this is just a cheap and lazy way to waste time. if he declines the other help, the assistance to refine his strength before the trial, then he won't be a hypocrite, just an idiot. but, if he accepts their methods of refining and amplifying his power then this is basically like making a deal with a toddler where they don't have to go to bed at 7:00pm but the deal is that they have to keep running around after 7 and the moment they get tired from running they have to go to bed. they're basically just putting him on the shoulder going. "mhm, you sure are special and amazing kiddo, you're so stwong and unique that you don't need any help right buddy? no oken for you, just come over here, and we'll spend some time totally not giving you a bunch of strength through other means anyway."
oh, that's kinda boring. I'm pretty burnt out on the genetic "I'm too sigma for power structures" type of protagonist, I was mostly reading this because I was interested in the unique choice to write a character that's willing to gain power through means other than the standard "train real hard". if he really trusted his own power, then this stupid body reconstruction shit wouldn't concern him. he's been using the power of the soul society ever since he arrived, and he's only got a bit of magical power back by using said soul power. he hasn't achieved a single thing exclusively by his own power from the moment he was born, in this life nor the last. his body didn't just get reconstructed when he died. It's gone. Now, he's a soul of the soul society and already beholden to their structure. this decision not to take the final step is like a petulant child stomping his feet because he's JUST NOW figured out after over a decade that all of his power is assimilated from the world around himself. it makes it sound like up until this point he believed himself the centre of the world, that all the spiritual power everyone else uses comes from HIM, and they just borrow it.
I'm getting sick of them constantly saying stuff like this. does the author have dementia? does he think we do? do the characters suffer short-term memory loss? what kind of person explains things like this 4 or 5 separate times all within the same day, at this point it's like every second conversation ends with someone telling is about the authority of the royal guard.
and again

if you're going to write a fanfiction with AI then I would politely recommend upgrading to a more competent one. we are currently experiencing both the repetitive writing patterns of an AI and the flawed, mistranslated writings of a non-english speaking author.
he's speaking in poorly translated Chinese currently, but maybe you're reading this in Japanese so it's harder for you to notice. I actually wasn't aware that webnovel offered a translation feature like that. do you get all the comments in Japanese too or just the novel itself? I doubt it translates the comments since I see a lot of Spanish comments and reviews on some novels. does that mean you translated my comment into Japanese and then still tried to tell me I was incorrect because your version was in Japanese?
it's hard to tell which characters are speaking. there are obviously at least two people in this conversation, but both perspectives sound like the protagonist trying to sound all cool to Logan. "person one talks" "person two responds" "this can be either person one or a third, new character." each line break represents only a change in perspective, like the camera in the conversation shifting to show someone else. the confusing part is that we don't know who these different perspectives are, they obviously aren't wolverine speaking considering the context so the next assumption is that the protagonist either has multiple bodies like a cloning ability or has multiple personalities like moon knight and this is representing each time a new version of him takes the stand for a sentence.
he can permanently become the aliens, this literally could not be less of an issue
I'm hoping that he starts to use alien forms more frequently, utilising his human form more akin to a disguise rather than his native form.
