I Awoke As Uzumaki Naruto

Ninja Academy class 1-A

Naruto sleepily tries to pretend that he is paying attention to Iruka's lesson.

But he fails it and ends up sleeping on his desk.

Suddenly the skies open and without anyone noticing, A change is occurring within Naruto, strange marks start appearing on his skin, but soon they vanish and a 'new' Naruto is in his place.

"What!" Naruto loudly exclaimed, attracting the attention of the entire class.

Iruka looks annoyed at Naruto

"Naruto, Don't tell me you were sleeping in class again..."

The new Naruto felt a shiver run down his spine and answered on pure instinct.

"No I wasn't, I just thought about something that surprised me and forgot to lower my voice..." As soon as Naruto said that he thought

'It worked! I am Naruto now, but it is so confusing to be 'reincarnated' again... anyways, now I have to pretend to be Naruto, how annoying... Nah, there is no way I will even pretend to be so dumb, I will just act normally, I can always make an excuse for why I changed.

But worse still, I need to be alone again... heh, maybe it is my fate?... who am I kidding? fate doesn't exist, I am a living proof of that... got sidetracked there, I need to pay a LOT of attention to not slip up and reveal myself, especially to the Kyuubi... that is unnerving'

After a while, Naruto calms down and begins to sort through his new memories, discovering how to use chakra, the theory behind the three academy jutsus, his way home, and to Ichiraku's

'I always knew that Naruto's pranks had a purpose, they were stealth training and when he is caught he used it to train his escaping methods. He was way smarter than what he showed, he just kept that stupid facade to get people's attention...

But damn he went through so much in his past... the villagers even created a 'fox hunt' festival where they would try to kill him annually, what the he#*? What was that monkey brain Hokage doing? what if they succeeded and the Kyuubi was freed?'

Unfortunately, there are no what if's so now Naruto can only think about it. (or read a fic about it)

Iruka was still suspicious that Naruto hasn't been paying attention, so when he saw him in a daze he decided to ask a question

"Naruto, Can you tell me how did the village foundation occur again?"

Iruka asks with a 'smile' on his face that promises nothing but pain should he had not paid attention, Naruto quickly gets off of his daze and answers

"It was Shodaime-Sama and Uchiha Madara, that founded Konoha after the Uchiha and Senju clans entered a peace treaty at the time, at first the village was created to house the new generation in a secure place where they could have a normal childhood without the horrors of war and a place for the people that did not want to fight in wars anymore, but the idea was readily approved by other clans that decided to join in on to be protected by the two big clans, and that is how Konoha was formed."

Everyone looked at Naruto as if he grew a second head

'''' what happened to him?? he paid ATTENTION to class?? is the world ending??'''' Everyone thought at the same time.

"we-well done Naruto that's exactly how it happened, Well then.

After the foundation of Konoha---"

Naruto again stops paying attention because he already knows most of it, so he secretly tries to move his chakra, it was hard in Naruto's memories but when he tried it

'It's a lot easier than in my memories!? huuuum... why though?... I have an idea of why, but I am not sure...

Naruto is an Uzumaki, so he had a powerful body from birth, but the seal that was put in him when he was just born sealed away the Yang half Kyuubi, and since he also has Ashura's chakra dormant inside of him, he had an imbalance of yin and yang, his soul was not powerful enough to 'tame' all the chakra he had.

But now, my soul that is a fusion between my old soul and Naruto's soul, is way stronger, especially because of my experience in soul matters. I can use chakra much easier, not as easy as I would like because I have too much chakra but easier than Naruto could before, chakra is afterall a mix of physical and mental energies, physical comes from the body, which Naruto had lots of, and mental comes from the mind and soul, which I have lots of...

now let's see... there's still 3 months before the final exam, I shouldn't bother with the clone jutsu and follow cannon to get the shadow clone... or 1i should perfect it anyway just to improve my chakra control... anyway I should train chakra control and taijutsu in this 3 months that I have, and MOST IMPORTANT change my f***ing wardrobe because I just have ... this... ugh... Naruto sure loved orange, but I do not like it so much, and orange is not a practical color for a shinobi... I can't buy clothes normally but I can just transform into someone random to do it...'

The rest of the class passed with no issue and after it ended Naruto went straight to his apartment and began his training in chakra control

"How was the progression again? Leaf sticking exercise, tree climbing, water walking, hot water walking, waterfall climbing, and sand sorting... Maybe if I get my chakra control high enough I could even walk on clouds as they are water in lower density...and after that maybe I can even walk on air..."

Naruto started practicing his chakra control, he quickly mastered the leaf sticking exercise and decided to start tree climbing but

*Grow~*

His stomach disagreed, Naruto hasn't eaten anything for hours, and using his chakra so much made him hungry.

"Luckily I just received money from the old monkey or I don't know what I would do, I don't know how to cook after all..."

Naruto then makes hand seals

Dog → Boar → Ram

"{Henge no jutsu}"

Transforming himself into an average looking civilian and then going out of his house to buy some meat, vegetables, and fruits to eat, when he goes back to his apartment he undoes his henge(transformation) and goes to Ichiraku ramen, after reaching the ramen stand he shouts out

"Teuchi-ojii-san. Ayame-nee-chan"

Teuchi the owner of ichiraku ramen squints his eyes as he sees Naruto as if trying to confirm something, after a second he smiles and says

"Naruto. My number one customer, what will it be today?"

Ayame, Teuchi's daughter smiles at the side and says

"Hi Naruto-Kun"

Naruto smiles back and says

"Hi Ayame-nee, one miso pork today Teuchi-jii-san I am saving my money to buy something so I will not spend much today"

Teuchi smiles and says

"Coming right up"

And leaves to his kitchen, after he comes back Naruto talks with Teuchi and Ayame about some random things, like the academy, his pranking ideas, or how he made the whole class speechless today...

Naruto eats the ramen, pays and leaves to his home, then he takes a bath and sleeps, or his body sleeps, he opens his eyes and sees a sewer, with a gigantic cage in front of him, inside of it an enormous fox lays there, seemingly sleeping, but when it senses Naruto it wakes up

[So my jailor decided to visit me? come here kit, I promise that I will not kill you]

Said the Kyuubi, but the look on his face said otherwise...

"You are the Kyuubi!" Naruto exclaims 'Shocked' even though Kurama can feel emotions, the seal blocks part of its capacity, and Naruto is indeed shocked to see the Kyuubi in real life.

Before the Kyuubi could say anything Naruto continued.

"You look so cool in person!" The exciting emotion that the Kyuubi felt from Naruto greatly confused him

[You... are not afraid?]

"Afraid you say? maybe shocked or even confused, but afraid is not how I would describe my emotions right now... I have already seen much scarier things in my life, and since this seal keeps your chakra locked so it doesn't affect me, I can't feel the fear I should" Naruto explained with confidence, but the Kyuubi could feel the nervousness behind all that bravery.

[Heh... Interesting kit...] Kyuubi muttered as he went back to his sleeping position

"So~... wanna be my friend? I would love to have such a cool being as a friend" Naruto's words shocked the Kyuubi, he never expected to hear that from Naruto.

[Kit, do you know who I am? why would you ask me that?]

"Huh? You are the Kyuubi, the strongest bijuu of them all, the one that almost destroyed the village 12 years ago... But why are you asking? and for your second question... I would love to have such a cool friend, you are the most awesome bijuu, and since you are sealed in me I should at least talk with you shouldn't I?"

Naruto answered as if it was common sense, something that confused the Kyuubi greatly as he didn't sense any lies from Naruto.

[Heh... Kit, you are an interesting breed aren't you?]

"What does that even mean?"

The Kyuubi went back to sleep and soon Naruto went out of his mindscape. As soon as he did though, the Kyuubi opened its eyes and muttered something

[Friends, huh?...

Heh, such a thing...

Next morning

Naruto wakes up and while he is cooking breakfast he plans

"I know most of the chakra control exercises, the next thing I need is a way to train my body and taijutsu stance... I should just go find Guy for this, he is one of the best taijutsu users of the world after all, and I don't think he would say no..." Naruto is interrupted by the smell of something burning

"Oh sh*t!" Naruto quickly tries to save his breakfast from burning, after a while, he had poorly cooked beef and some poorly fried eggs on his plate.

"That tastes bad... Note to self: learn how to cook"

After Naruto was done eating, he decided to walk around Konoha to both explore the village and search for the bushy brows duo

"Now then, let's get started"
