well, He is completely safe, and Kurama is in a seal if anything went wrong, he could easily just use Kurama's power through the seal in other words, it wouldn't hurt trying

He can not use kurma power through the seal kurma power leeked through the seal because kurma wanted to

power leaking through the seal, and using the seal to wilingly take power away are two different things and I doubt Minato made the seal in a way Naruto could not use that power if needed but that's all theory, I can't say for sure

So far from we saw the only time the power been use is only when kurma leek it ( before Nartou basically took it for himself)
