Naruto enacts the famous 'swing scene' while thinking

'aaaaany minute now'

A few moments after Mizuki walks up to him

"You know Naruto, i see great potential in you, that test was really unfair against you, but don't worry i have a way for you to pass the test."

Mizuki says with a 'friendly' smile

"really Mizuki-sensei?"

asks Naruto doing his best to not snicker

"yes, its a secret test that only i know about, so don't tell about this to anybody ok?"

"you can trust me that i will not tell anyone about this Mizuki-sensei, believe it!"

"good, so let me explain how this test will work ..."

Mizuki explains his poor attempt of a plan and then after deciding on the place that Naruto will meet him at he leaves leaving Naruto to his toughts.

'Told ya, see? even though his plan is crappier than Sasuke's attitude... You must admit that it is a opportunity for me'

[I am speechless... is that really a plan? c'mon a baby can plan better than him... But you are right, if i remember correctly this scroll has a lot of useful jutsus in it...]

'Hoh~?, so you did pay attention to things that happened outside huh? Peeper fox!'

Hokage's building

Naruto just explained what Mizuki's stupid plan was to the hokage, currently he can be seen with a scroll tied to his back while the hokage is giving some orders to his ANBU. after a while Hiruzen speaks to Naruto

"This will be considered as a B-rank mission for your records in the future Naruto( b rank mission are missions involving fighting ninjas). You did really well on playing along with Mizuki and finding his objectives, after this is done with i will treat you to ramen"

Hiruzen is feeling really proud of Naruto at this moment, because Naruto just rooted a spy that is so useless that no one would ever think of him as a spy. this is the real reason Orochimaru got Mizuki to work as a spy for him... that and Mizuki could spy on Sasuke for him...

After leaving the hokage's building, Naruto sits down at the designed place and starts reading the scroll.

He got permission from the hokage to read it after telling him his plan to deal with Mizuki.

"huuum, shadow clones are easier than i thought, well they are only c-ranked because of their vast number of uses and large chakra requirements, lets see if i can get anything good from here as well"

Naruto finds thecniques in the scroll like {multi shadow clones},{edo tensei},{flying thunder god},{spirit possesion} and such jutsus, Naruto uses his mindscape, that has more uses than OG Naruto ever used, to keep a copy of the scroll after he reads all of it.

'well, now that this is done i have some free time to kill, how's it going Kurama? Any ideas of how to kill time?'

[You know you can just try to master one of this jutsus, right?]

'Huh? but i will not have enought time...'

After Naruto finishes his mental conversation with Kurama, Mizuki finally decided to show his face.

"good job Naruto, you got the scroll. Now give it to me and you pass the exam"

"Nah..."

Mizuki's fake smile drops while he says

"huuh? You dont wanna pass the exam?"

"i know there is no exam, do you think i was born yesterday? and your plan was worse than my first attempt at cooking"

Said Naruto with mockery at his tone, was it aimed at Mizuki or his first attempt at cooking? only he knows.

"let me tell you a secret Naruto, do you know why all the villagers hate you? it's because you are the reincarnation of the kyuubi, the demon fox that destroyed the village 12 years ago, and killed Iruka's parents. you are nothing but a MONSTER!"

'Oh the irony... At least he got my reincarnated status right...'

[Is he really that idiot? if i was in your place i would have destroyed the village long ago... or at least i would have ran away from it...]

'Who knows? maybe he has some brain damage?'

Mizuki said that trying to destabilize Naruto's emotions, while throwing one of his giant shurikens (definitely overcompensating something) at Naruto.

But Naruto dodged it easily by sidestepping

' Lee is faster than him even with his weights on, how did he become a chunnin again?' he thinks while he takes the shuriken by the middle hole with precision making mizuki surprised.

[wartime chunnin maybe?]

'probably... that or he used his ' brilliant plans' to do it'

"Do you think i didn't know?" Naruto then throws the shuriken back at Mizuki while also running in his direction wilhe making a cross sign with his hands

"hoh? you are approaching me? instead of running away?" Mizuki

"I can't kick your as*, if i don't approach you"

-=WE ARE HAVING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, PLEASE STANDBY=-

"WHAT!?" shouts Mizuki in fear and confusion as he dodges Naruto's shuriken.

"{KAGE BUNSHIN NO JUTSU}" a few dozen of Naruto's clones appear around Mizuki while grinning at Mizuki's fearful expression, Naruto says

"i known you were sabotaging me during the academy, so how about a little payback Mi~zu~ki~ sen~sei~?"

With an earie voice Naruto said as he approaches Mizuki

"DONT COME NEAR ME YOU M-MONSTER, AHHH HELP! AAAAAH----"

The ANBU'S Hiruzen had following Naruto all had fearful expressions

"This kid is insane!"

"Can you imagine what would happen to our reputation if he did this to us?"

"i dont even wanna known..."

What they are seeing is Naruto using transformation jutsu to perform like Mizuki as he does embarrassing things in front of a camera, Cameras are a thing in Konoha, they are really expensive however, Naruto asked that instead of the payment of a b-rank mission the hokage ahould give him a camera.

The hokage accepted without much thinking, something that he would regret later as Naruto and his camera would be the nightmare of konoha... His pranking capabilities just went up by 500%...

A while later

Naruto is standing in front of the hokage with a tied up and soulless Mizuki at his side. After Naruto showed Mizuki the photos that he would spread around konoha, Mizuki lost his will to live... not really, but he beat Mizuki up after doing that...

"Good job Naruto, you did really well handing the situation. Now i need to bring him to the T&I department so i will have Iruka to acompany you to ichiraku's in my stead"

Naruto bows a little saying

"thanks hokage-jiji-sama"

Iruka at the side is a little conflicted, while he is proud of his student's achievement he is also sad for his friend's betrayal. but he quickly recomposes himself while walking away with Naruto.

"So Naruto, now that you are a full fledged shinobi you can't forget to study, ok? also, aways remember from were you started and how far you can reach if you put in the effort" Iruka says while patting a wide eyed Naruto

"Iruka-sensei, do you mean...?"

Iruka slowly nods while tying his own headband around Naruto's forehead, he smiles proudly and says

"you have become a splendid ninja Naruto, im really proud of you"

Naruto can't help but be moved by Iruka's words,he had inherited OG Naruto's feelings, afterall. he happly says while taking his ramen bowl in his hands

"thanks Iruka-sensei, that means a lot for me" Teuchi and Ayame at the side smile at the scene, feeling happy that Iruka treats Naruto well.

latter at Naruto's appartment a dozen Narutos can be seen, some are tring to use their adamantine chains to do daily things like picking a cup to drink water, some are walking on the walls while sticking leaves at their body, some are writing something (kanji pratice for fuinjutsu latter) and some are tryng to feel space around them.

The original Naruto is cooking the recipe that he discussed with Choji earlier that day

"Ahhh, the usefullness of the shadow clones"

mutters Naruto while thinking of how usefull this jutsu is.

After he finishes cooking he dispels his clones, eats his dinner and goes to sleep with a smile on his face. The teams will be formed 1 week latter so Naruto is planning to abuse his new shadow clone jutsu during this time and now that he is a gennin he can access the gennin section at the library, buy ninja tools and a chakra testing paper. All of this is going to be really usefull for his training during the next week.
