7 -=The Great Naruto Bridge=- rewritten

The last 5 days were the most humiliating in Sasuke's life.

When Kakashi went to teach the team how to walk on trees and Naruto did it on the first try, he felt really annoyed but when Sakura also did it on the first try he felt like a side character, so he trained like a madman but being dumb as he is he always put the same amount of chakra in his feet, when he finnaly swallowed his pride and asked Naruto for advise he got the answer

"Are you f**king dumb? you need to adjust the amount of chakra that you put in your feet. Dont you know that doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results is insanity?" 'maybe he is already insane anyway'

[Every uchiha is insane from birth]

'This time i can't argue...'

Sasuke was speechless, he just now noticed that he was being really dumb, now he felt ashamed of every time someone called him genius in the academy...

During this 5 days Naruto kept helping the villagers that were in need of help, he also used henged shadow clones to infiltrate Gato's 'army' so he can know were to get all his money latter.

Today was just a normal day, Naruto was resting in the middle of the woods after a long training session when he saw Haku collecting herbs at the side.

"Do you need help?" Naruto asks as he starts collecting some herbs as well

"Thank you, i was collecting herbs to help someone important to me that is injured" answers Haku

"Huuum, if you are trying to make medicinal past with the herbs you should not use this ones" he then points towards one of the herbs "they increase the bloodflow wich can make poison spread faster and makes it almost impossible to wounds to coagulate"

Naruto knows that he will need a LOT af medical knowlodge if he wants to learn iryo ninjutsu so he starded to learn medical books as soon as he discovered the perfect memory granted by his mindscape.

"Oh thank you, but he was not poisoned and has no wounds so it should be fine" Haku is really surprised by Naruto's knowlodge, this herb is almost the same as a poisonous one the only difference between them is a little color difference on the roots, so most people confuses them

They speak for a while and when Haku is about to go away Naruto asks

"By the way, the person that you are trying to help, is he from your family?"

"No, why?"

"Cause some of these herbs are infused with chakra naturally and its from yin variety, if a yuuki clan member uses them they would end up feeling as if they were frozen"

Haku's eyes went wide, but when he turned back to where Naruto was he found no one

"Does he know? but how?"

"What took you so long?" Sakura asks as soon as she sees Naruto coming back

"Sorry i had to help an old lady to cross the street" Naruto answers

Kakashi is feeling really proud of Naruto right now, he swipes a proud tear from his eye

"YOU WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF A FOREST. THERES NO ROADS THERE"

"thats why it took so long" Naruto says while looking at Sakura like she is an idiot

At night

Kakashi walked closer to Naruto, who was sitting at the side of the lake

"What are you doing here?"

"Just thinking about some stuff..." Naruto answers

"Like what? I have plenty of experience in life, i can help you with that" Said Kakashi while sitting at Naruto's side

"Sensei... How did it feel to be called a genius when you were little?" Naruto asks with a stoic face, but anyone can see that he is not so calm inside...

"Honestly? At first it was really nice, but after some time it got very stressful.

Any achievements you may have gotten were ignored, it is just as people expected afterall, but if you fail to reach their stupidly high standards, then you are a deception...

I heard things like that a lot of times..." Kakashi answer, while remembering his past.

"I think i know how it feels, people always ignored anything i did, while only looking to find my flaws... It's not the same, but similar. I hate this kinda of thing..." Naruto said

"You didn't say that you hated this during our team introduction..." Kakashi jokingly remarks, trying to lift the mood

"Like you are someone to tell me how i did my introduction... You literary just said your name!

But yeah... I guess i didn't put much trust into my team...

Well, I can say it now if you are interested.

There is only two things that i hate:

People who judge you without knowing anything about you, And people that are praised and venerated just because of their family, bloodline or clan, In other words, people who never did anything to deserve this..." Naruto ended up talking more than he wanted before, so he got sleepy and decided to go sleep.

"At least you are more open with us now..." Kakashi this day got to know Naruto a little better.

Two days latter, Team 7 is going to the bridge while Naruto left some shadow clones to save Tsunami and Inari from Gato's men.

After arriving there they see every worker knocked out and a lot of mist on the bridge

"He's here" Kakashi puts his guard up, he needs to be carefull of an ambush as Zabuza is a master of silent killing.

"They are standing 30 meters in front of us, the mist there is also less dense" Naruto senses them and immediately tells his team, his Shadow clone with Tsunami and Inari also disperses so he quickly creates 10 more clones that will raid Gato's bussines. as they are inside of mist team 7 doesn't see him do that.

"It seems that you really did not die Zabuza" Kakashi says while lifting his headband from his eye

"Sasuke take care of the one dressed in blue, i will take care of the other one while Kakashi sensei fights Zabuza, Sakura protect Tazuna from anything ok?" Naruto orders the team while locking eyes with his target

"Since when you are the leader of the team?" Sasuke complains but still locks his eyes on Haku.

Sasuke and Kakashi's fights were almost the same as in cannon

Naruto faces Ikki that, as a good villain starts her monologue no jutsu, now Naruto would never let an enemy finish his monologue, but he is really curious about this enemy.

"It seems that you will be my opponent then. The least i can do is to tell you my name, the name of the one that will kill you. I am Ikki Chinoike" Ikki introduces herself making Naruto surprised

"Chinoike? That Chinoike clan that the stupid Uchihas destroyed? you are a survivor? then why are you with Zabuza?" Naruto asks and becomes more cautious of his surroundings. if he sees red water or blood he will get as far from it as he can

"My family was exiled from the Chinoike clan, ironically thats what saved us. We ended up in the land of water while escaping from an enemy, it was there that we met the Yuki clan, we lived with them for some time, it was also at this time that i got closer to Haku-Kun, when kiri forces destroyed the Yuki clan, my parents tried to help and died in the process.

Me and Haku, survived. We only had ourselves to depend on, at that time we met Zabuza and decided to follow him, as he was strong and could protect us." Ikki answers

'That's quite the monologue...'

"Enough talking" Ikki closes her eyes, when he opens them again her ketsuryugan is visible, Naruto freezes, he can't move his body

"What? didnt the ketsuryugan need a medium to interfere with other people's blood?" he asks Ikki biding his time

"My ketsuryugan is different, i can control blood without a medium to a lesser degree. but it also puts a lot of strain in my body, So i can't use it often" Ikki answers while approaching Naruto

At the side of his vision Naruto sees Haku using his ice mirrors against Sasuke, he still didn't use his mirror dome, though...

"This is the end" Ikki jumps at Naruto

Naruto's terrified expression turns into a smirk, Ikki doesnt have a chance to react before 4 chains shots from Naruto's back (like Kaneki's kagune) and tightly hold her up

"Uzumaki? There are other survivors as well?!" Ikki asks surprised

"How do you know about Uzumakis? and what do you mean 'as well' ?" Naruto is surprised, the Uzumakis were exterminated during the destruction of Uzushigakure so not many people know about them

"I have met another survivor before, he had that really strange aura around him, like it didn't matter what you were going to do, he could counter it."

After explaining, who knows why, to Naruto Ikki controls her own blood to make the chain loose and escapes from them, 4 blood tentacles also shoot from her back (again just like Kaneki's kagune)

"Well isnt that interesting" After saying that Naruto shoots in Ikkis direction his chains acting like extra limbs trying to pierce Ikki but they were aways blocked by her 'kagune' (ill call it kagune cause blood tentacle is not really a good name) Naruto and Ikki are also fighting with taijutsu at the same time, Naruto is using strong fist, and Ikki is using some blood gauntlets.

Naruto dodge's Ikkis atacks and slashes with his chain at his neck, Ikki surprisingly doesnt dodge Naruto seeing this hesitates in his atack, giving Ikki enough time to pierce him with his gauntlet's claws.

"{Ketsuryugan: Blood Break}" Ikki uses her jutsu as soon as her claw pierces Naruto's flesh as she knows how fast Uzumaki's heal.

"AGH! Dammit!" Naruto falls to his knee supporting his body with his chains, at the same time Haku uses his dome of ice mirrors agains Sasuke.

"Its over, you cant move anymore even if you are an Uzumaki you cant heal your own blood" Ikki feels as if she already won, but Naruto doesn't say anything. As soon as he sees Sasuke getting turned into a porcupine by Haku he smirks internally.

"You really think that you have already won, huh?" red chakra starts to bubble out of Naruto

"What? if you think you can break my jutsu just because you have a lot of chakra, then give up i made this jutsu just to deal with people like you afterall --" Ikki doesn't finish her annoying monologue about this jutsu as Naruto uses Kurama's chakra to burn the chakra that is messing with his blood, its painfully hot, and he feels that his blood may evaporate at any second, but Naruto persists. i hurts like hell but it doesn't damage his body and frees him from Ikkis Ketsuryugan's blood control.

Naruto punches Ikki with all his strenght launching her in Zabuza's direction and rushes at the ice dome while extending his hand backwards. In his hand red Kurama's chakra starts to accumulate and spinning at insane speeds.

When he reaches the dome he shouts

"RASENGAN!"

Shattering the mirror in front of him, after he breaks in he immediately attacks Haku who is caugh off guard by his speed. With a punch in the chin he instantly knocks Haku out.

After that his chakra cloak stops and he falls on the ground (he is faking weakness so when Kakashi reports to the hokage they dont know that he can use that cloak without repercussions) Sakura aproaches him but he stops her

"Don't! i just overspent my chakra go help Sasuke instead, he needs it more" Sakura nods and goes to help Sasuke.

Back with Kakashi when he was about to kill Zabuza, Ikki hits Zabuza and both of them fall out of Kakashi's reach.

"Dammit" Kakashi felt Naruto's chakra spike and feared for the worst but when he sees that he launched one enemy knocked the other one out and fell 'exhausted' on the ground, he put his focus back on Zabuza. But just when they were about to fight again Gato and his goons appear at the end of the bridge, the rest went as cannon, just that with Ikki helping Zabuza was not impaled by swords and they killed all of Gato's men.

When Zabuza turns to Kakashi and says

"It seems that our fight stops here..." Zabuza was not in good shape, the not rusty Kakashi wiped the floor with him, he survived by pure luck.

Latter when Haku woke up again and hears of what happened he becomes really surprised.

"What are we going to do now?" Haku asks Zabuza

"I will return to kiri..." As soon as Zabuza said that, Ikki and Haku's faces turned into frowns.

"If you two don't wanna to to kiri, why don't you move to konoha instead?" Naruto suddenly suggests, surprising everyone

"Huh? What are you talking about Naruto? they were with Zabuza!" Exclaims Sakura

"OH. MY. GOD. If you didn't remember me i would have completely forgotten!" Sarcastically replied Naruto

"I mean what i said, they have their problems with kiri, so they could move to Konoha, we just need to say that they are people from the land of waves who wanted to move to konoha and we escorted them as we were heading back from the mission" Naruto explained

"WHAT!? Now you want to falsify a mission report as well?" Sakura exclaims again.

Deciding that it's better to ignore Sakura, Naruto continues

"We would need to say that they are from the land of waves so their bloodline is not hunted by the elders of konoha, asides from that, it should be fine, as long as they dont use their clan names there..." Naruto concludes

"What do you two want to do?" Zabuza at the side asks

"Zabuza-san, We..." Ikki starts, but can't answer

"It's fine if you want to go" Zabuza said

"But we-" Haku starts but he is interrupted

"I know that you dislike kiri, and have a lot of bad memories there, so just think of this as a vacation or something..." Zabuza would never admit, but these two grew on him as time passed, so he would rather not have them fight in the civil war at kiri.

"Then it's decided!" Naruto exclaims

After the bridge was done team 7 departed back to konoha with Haku and Ikki in toll

"What should we call the bridge?" a villager asks Tazuna

"I have just the perfect name for it, as he helped we not only build a bridge but also to build a new hope in this village, The Great Naruto Bridge. How does that sound?" Tazuna answers while going back to the village

"That sounds appropriate" Tsunami at his side agrees with him.
