Chapter One
Hephaphrodite was just looking at the remains of her last "lover."
He represented nothing more to her than the hundreds of others she had throughout her life.
He was an artist who made a masterpiece solely for
her sake, but he was just food for her.
Leaving the room, towards the living room, Hermes formed in front of Hephaphrodite.
Hermes was always punctual and he brought Hephaphrodite good news.
Hermes bowed, handed the envelope to Hephaphrodite, and disappeared in an instant.
Hephaphrodite puts the envelope on the table, thinking, she will enjoy opening it a little later, and for now, she goes to prepare things for her departure.
As she packed, she glanced at the dead body of a young man named Jon.
Jon released his song yesterday which immediately became a worldwide hit.
An hour ago, he completed his second masterpiece but did not live to publish it.
Think, Hephaphrodite as she entered the living room and picked up a letter from the table from Hermes.
As she drove down the highway leading out of town, she thought, that men in this era were much weaker than in ancient times.
She was done with Jon in a couple of days, while in the past she would get energy from men for weeks and even a month in one case before they died.
The energy of men was her life.
She especially got a lot of energy from the artist who was in the process of creating the masterpiece.
She has learned throughout her life, how to inspire a man to set her up as his muse.
Then she would be able to get the best out of him and feed for days from him.
While a man would create a masterpiece, he would neither eat nor drink.
While writing, composing, and painting ... a man would be dedicated only to creation until he died.
Hephaphrodite would feed on the energy coming from artists during that time.
She never had to explain herself to anyone and it never occurred to her to tell anyone about it all and her life.
She looked at the envelope she had received from Hermes.
She was truly content and happy.
So many years have passed and she will finally see him.
She knew that moment would come and Hephaphrodite lived for this day.
The smell of roasted bacon wafted from the prairie house.
The man in the house was happily preparing breakfast.
On his table were crispy fried bacon, two eggs on the eye (which he didn't salt), freshly sliced tomatoes, young onions, and yogurt.
In sweetness, he began to eat merrily.
As he ate, he thought about how much he needed this rest.
He finished his meal and prepared for the morning outing.
He stepped out of his hut onto the vast plain.
The view stretched for miles around.
His black horse drink water by the lake.
He mounted his faithful horse named Hades.
And rode off towards the rising sun.
After 5 hours of riding, he returned to his hut for lunch.
In the early evening, he went out again to ride on Hades.
He headed in the direction of the setting sun.
He gave in to the trot.
He chased Hades faster and faster.
His black hair was carried by the wind.
In the distance, he saw a highway winding like a snake across the expanse.
The highway was empty.
As he approached the road, he heard the sound of a car.
The car was coming from a distance.
It was a black sports car.
The car was going at high speed.
Suddenly the car began to lose control.
The car flew off the road.
Smoking started from the speeding car.
The woman fell out of the car.
The car passed 100 yards away and exploded.
He immediately pointed Hades at the woman.
The woman lay unconscious on the ground.
He put the woman on Hades and rode off to his hut.
He laid the woman on the bed in the hut.
He cleaned the woman, who had an injured head.
He sat down next to the woman to keep an eye on her.
The woman was beautiful.
She had beautiful curly black hair.
Beautiful body of olive skin.
She was tall and had sharp features.
He sank slowly into sleep as he watched her.
Hephaphrodite was coming to consciousness.
Everything around her was black.
She saw nothing around her.
She asked, "Is anyone nearby?"
She heard a male voice tell her everything was fine.
That she had a car accident.
Hephaphrodite listened intently to the man.
He told her all about the accident.
Hephaphrodite shuddered for the first time in her life.
She felt pressure all over her body.
Her heart began to ache.
The pain from her heart spread throughout her body.
The man looked at the woman who had an indescribable horror on her face.
He told her, "The blindness is most likely temporary, due to a blow to the head in an accident."
Hephaphrodite felt a pain that transcended time.
She waited so many years and everything was taken away from her at one point.
She didn't want to wait anymore.
She no longer had a reason to live.
The man looked at the woman who was beginning to fade.
Life energy was leaking from her.
Hephaphrodite sought the man's hand and squeezed it.
The man felt the energy coming out of him in an instant.
He lost consciousness.
Hephaphrodite remembered her childhood.
She walked the streets of ancient Larissa.
The buildings around it were simple and white.
The people around her were dressed in simple white tunics.
She headed out of town to the outskirts of Larissa.
She knew what day it was.
She would see him for the first time.
She will hear his music.
He played the flute.
Hephaphrodite came to him.
She lay down on the grass and listened to his music.
He played to her about worlds near and far.
With his music, he took her on journeys of the past and the future.
He only played for her.
Weeks passed and he didn't stop playing.
Hephaphrodite listened to his music full of love, happiness, and strength.
She ate nothing.
His music fed her.
He was getting weaker and weaker.
He played constantly.
His music became proud.
Hephaphrodite listened to music with all her being.
At one point he stopped playing and collapsed to the ground.
Hephaphrodite was trying to revive him.
He was dead.
Hephaphrodite wept.
She cried for days beside his body.
She started running.
She ran for hours non-stop across the glades of ancient Greece.
In distance was a temple.
Hephaphrodite has run into the temple.
Oracle was inside the Temple.
Hephaphrodite runs toward Oracle whit tiers in her eyes.
Oracle has looked at Hephaphrodite and said.
Oracle: "I can not help you.
No human can help you."
Hephaphrodite runs out from the temple.
She has been running all day.
It started to rain.
She reached the top of the mountain.
Lightning struck in front of her.
A bearded man appeared with a spear in his hand.
He told her that he was her father and that he would take care of her from now on.
The bearded man suddenly disappeared.
In the distance, she saw a young man running towards her.
He came up to her and said, "I'm Hermes. I'm carrying you two messages."
Hephaphrodite took the messages, and Hermes ran away from her.
One message was from her father.
He said that she would see her love again and that they would be together forever.
In the second message was the location of a man who would serve her as food.
His energy will be enough for her for now.
2000 years have passed since then and Hephaphrodite had thousands of men with whom she fed.
She was a muse for them all, she was a goddess.
They created masterpieces because of her.
In two thousand years, she had not felt the love she had felt with the first man, who played her flute.
That day has come.
Two millennia have passed and Hephaphrodite is on the beach in his arms.
Months passed and she was filled and fed up with him.
She would get as much energy as she wanted from him, and he would always have even more for her.
They drove down an empty road through the prairie.
The car was controlled by a computer.
Suddenly the car landed off the road.
Smoke filled the car.
The car caught fire.
He threw Hephaphrodite out of the car.
Hephaphrodite rolled down the ground.
She banged her head.
In the distance, she saw the car explode.
She lost consciousness.
She let go of his hand.
Tony suddenly opened his eyes.
He felt his strength return.
He remembered the whole story of Hephaphrodite.
He saw everything.
Hephaphrodite began to disappear.
The last words came out of her mouth:
"D!"
All that was left on the bed where she lay was white smoke.
Tony stared at the fading smoke.
He sat like that for a while.
There is nothing left of Hephaphrodite.
Hephaphrodite's story was amazing.
He went to sleep.
The next day, after breakfast, Tony went out to ride Hades.
A man on a motorcycle was approaching in the distance.
The man stopped and introduced himself.
He asked Tony about a woman who fell out of a car that caught fire last night.
Tony said he saw a woman, who he took to his hut but she disappeared in the morning.
Tony couldn't say anything more.
The man on the motorcycle drove in the direction of the sunset.
