The Journey of the Evoker/Gunslinger

The estate of house Randell is just like a palace of the king but it is nothing compared to king's palace in this world. The sun is up and it is a beautiful morning but not for our protagonist.

Vinod aka Ash Randell just woke up after sun's rays hit him. He does not want to wake up because he wanted to avoid his three brothers. Their names were 1st Brother Donald Randell, 2nd Brother Kevin Randell and 3rd brother Calvin Randell. Since he is the 4th son he doesn't have the qualifications to become the successor. To make matters even worse his magic power is only 50.

Donald is the true successor because his magic power is 500 which is highest according to the present generation. Kevin Randell had magic power of 350 and Calvin had magic power of 400.

Though second brother is not as powerful as other two he had high aptitude in magic compared to other two so that is why he is a rival to Donald. Since Ash Randell is an illegitimate child of a maid working in the mansion they both were given a room in the mansion. The head of the house Earl Harvey Randell had high status even among the other earl's.

He is the one responsible for forcing himself on the maid Jasmine Sullivan which lead to her giving birth to Ash Randell. But he always looked at Jasmine and Ash. Due to his low status and his low magic power made him a punching bag for the three brothers. At an age of 5 he fell of the window from second floor accidentally and died but his body got replaced with Vinod's soul.

It has been nearly 2 years since the transmigration and Vinod is definitely getting irritated with treatment of his brothers. The only reason he is tolerating them is because he and Jasmine will be thrown out if he did something bad to them. He did not care what level their magic is because he was a mixed martial artist in his previous life. He could easily take them down before they could even cast magic.

He retained his memories of previous life and gained the memories of present body over the span of 2 years. He remembered that he used to be an ordinary office worker in a private financial firm. He is an expert in all finance related work but the boss was an asshole who oppressed him. One day he got frustrated and resigned even though his financial status is not good.

When he is on his way to home some goons stopped him and try to extort him but he didn't heed their demands. he fought them using his mixed martial arts training but one of the goons carried a gun so he shot Vinod down. Vinod died and his soul got transmigrated into this body.

Ash is looking in the window and decided that he will start his mixed martial arts training in secret. Since it is a magic dominated family the use of weapons is limited. He knows that earl wouldn't allow him to learn any weapon but he need not ask them as he had learned it in the past life. Though he was an ordinary worker he was addicted to combat sports so he learned spear, archery and gun shooting.

After looking through the window for sometime with eyebrows furrowed Vinod turned his back to leave, a voice came which he had been waiting for all these years.

"Does the host wish to bind with Adventure cum Development System?"

Vinod smiled and said "Bind".

Vinod looked at the classes and was extremely satisfied. But before choosing the class he asked "Hey System will there be a sub class in the future?". "Yes host there are two subclasses. One can be chosen when you reach Level 20 and other at Level 30" replied system.

"Thank you System" he said and started deciding what to choose. When he looked at the 4th option he did not know what that class is. "System what is the Evoker class?"

"Host Evokers are spell casters who are able to manipulate the energy in their bodies and use it to cast destructive spells which is dangerous not only to individuals but also to powerful creatures like dragons. Unlike the people in this world who depend on mana to cast their spells host will be casting spells through energy in their body. The host need not chant the spells they are going to cast as it requires precise visualization of spell and powerful internal energy control to cast these spells".

Ash is very happy with this class and wanted to try it but he decided to ask one last question.

"System can I also use mana to cast the spells?"

"You can host but to do that your magic power should be at 200"

"Well its not a problem as he is going to increase his body strength and internal energy strength".

"System I am going to choose "Evoker" as my class.

"Well it's a good thing since I need not stress on increasing their level" said Ash.

"So how can I increase my level since you are an adventure cum development system?" asked Ash

"Host as soon as you reach 8 years of age the quests will be given to you. But before that you can increase your level by intensively training your body and the spells" said the system.

"Since I decided that I will be training myself in Mixed Martial Arts and Weaponry based on knowledge of my previous life I can also learn to harness the internal energy in my body through meditation" said Ash.

"Ding! Host has been provided with basic energy manipulation manual"

Ash went to the Inventory and found the manual. After giving it a quick look he smiled as it is completely suitable for this fragile body.

"Since my golden finger has arrived after 2 years I am not going to waste anytime. I will use the evoker class and become so much powerful that no one can stop me.

If my 3 brothers try to mess with me again I will blast them with destructive spells. My journey is going to start from now on to experience a lot of things which I could not during my previous boring life and live my life to the fullest" said Vinod with a smile.
