Ice panther dungeon break (1)

Rudra was taken to the northern outskirts of the country where a village is being evacuated for upcoming dungeon break.

"Ice panthers huh?" said Quinn.

"It might be dangerous for other knights and mages but for us it is not that tough but it is not easy either." said Rose.

"Maybe, but to make our chances of winning with ease, let us set up traps" said Ash.

"I agree but the land here is completely filled with snow, so what traps are you going to set up." asked Raven.

"Let us dig a big trench in between us and the panthers and fill it with wooden spikes. Those panthers which escape this spikes have to face these mana bombs" said Ash taking out a round object from his bag and showed it to them.

"A mana bomb, what is that?" asked Quinn and Rose both at the same time.

"There are bombs that activate as soon as they receive mana and explode killing anything in the area within an instant." said Ash.

"But, how do you make them receive mana since---" Quinn was indicating that they did not use mana.

" There are soldiers here who can use mana arrows and I can use a bow too so I will also fire arrows as soon as those panthers are in range."

"How many bombs do you have?" asked Raven.

"Nearly 12, we need to use them conservatively, since we don't know how long the dungeon break will last." said Ash.

Raven came near Ash's ears and said "You made these bombs based on the earth's bombs didn't you?"

"Yes, but I am not going to give the design to anyone as they will use them to start wars." said Ash.

"I understand" said Raven with smile.

Seeing Raven too close to Ash, Quinn and Rose were surprised. They wondered if the two have become too close friends that might lead to something in the future.

Ash didn't see their expressions , otherwise he would have been embarrassed.

"I have been stuck in Level 13 for a while. I need to reach Level 20 as soon as possible to select a new class." thought Ash.

His battle power is now 5000 and his magic power is 2000. Quinn had a battle power of 2000 and magic power of 800. Rose had a battle power of 1000 and magic power of 1000.

As for Raven, her battle power is 4000 and magic power is 400. She was very close to Ash in battle prowess but when it comes to magic she is not even close to Ash and others.

The new skill has been added and he tied the stamina bracelet which rejuvenated him. The advantage of this bracelet is Ash can keep on fighting long battles with ease.

"Now, let me show you guys my new magical skill." said Ash with a narcissistic smile.

"You are really shameful host." said the system.

"I know, but at least give me a credit for providing you with the skill." said the system sadly.

"I will tell them that someone great has provided me with this skill" said Ash.

Ash moved up to 500 meters from the dungeons and used the transmutations skill on the ground to dig a trench which was many 2 kilometers wide.

The other three looked at him with wide eyes. Especially Raven, because she could not sense mana or a mana circle near him. She wanted to find out what he is hiding, but this is not the time.

"Hey, where did you learn this skill?" shouted Quinn with frustration.

"Yeah, we didn't even know that you had transmutation as the skill" said Rose pouting.

Ash was a little surprised after hearing those words from Raven.

"Why do you want to learn it?" asked Ash with a curious face.

"Transmutation is a lost art in this world and you are the only one with that skill." said Raven with a sadistic smile.

Ash understood he had made a grave mistake by revealing this skill. Ash rubbed his forehead in frustration.

"You need not worry, no one except us will have this skill" said Raven sincerely.

"Very well. I will teach you guys after dealing with the dungeon break." said Ash.

They all nodded in agreement and got to work of putting wooden spikes in the trenches and putting mana bombs in the area and covered it with snow.

"Now, they waited for the dungeon to break which is in 3 minutes."

"Are you all prepared?" asked Raven to soldiers in the area.

There are adventurers too, but are very high level.

Ash took out his bow and got ready.

As soon as three minutes were finished, a pack of Ice panthers came out and started running towards them.

Ash smiled and got ready for the fight.
