Ash and Raven made their way to the Ultra star restaurant which is in the western part of the barony. When he saw Raven, he observed that she has two daggers on her waist and two on the legs.

So, he could tell that she is an assassin type and proficient in stealth attacks. He asked the system to display her information.

When System showed the information he was shocked. She is a girl from earth. Whether she is transmigrated or took rebirth is a different factor.

He definitely needs to confront her now.

"So you are also from earth huh?" said Ash.

Raven looked at him and widened her eyes. No one should know this secret except her but Ash could see through her.

"How did you know?" asked Raven slowing removing her two daggers.

"Your actions don't match with the way people act in this world" said Ash.

"What?" said Raven narrowing her eyes.

"The people in this world have a habit of looking down on others as soon as they meet them, but you did not exhibit anything like that. Even that doesn't prove you might not be from other world but everyone looks down on illegitimate children in this world. Sure, you might have heard of me and come to see if I am from earth, but you acted too casually" said Ash.

The reasons he gave to her were on point and it definitely hit her hard.

"What's your name on earth?" asked Ash. Ash knew her name but decided to ask her to avoid suspicions

Raven removed her hand from daggers and said "My name was Megha Malhotra".

Ash gave her his hand to shake and said "Vinod Maurya".

Megha took his hands and shook. They both smiled at one another.

"Let us walk and talk to avoid suspicion" said Ash.

She nodded and they resumed walking.

"So, what's your story? I know you are thee illegitimate son of Randell house in this world but why are you here?"

"My father is a rascal and scoundrel. My three big brothers belong to the same category. I transmigrated into this body when it is 5 years old. This body has undergone severe bullying and harassments. I gathered information about this world for 2 years enduring harassment. Since I excelled in combat sports in my previous world, I practiced them and also developed my magical powers. I have already made a deal with Earl that I would give up my rights as the successor for Earl's position at 12 years of age. Just before my 12th birthday I escaped with my mother and brought a lot of money with me as per the deal I made with the Earl. My father would definitely had us assassinated. I could kill them but I needed to protect my mother Jasmine so I did what I did" explained Ash.

She observed his expressions for any lie but could not find any false statement. He told everything honestly to her.

"You told everything to me honestly even though I may become your enemy?" asked Megha.

"I don't care what you do with this information because I have no interest in your family's war with other duchies and my bastard of a father" said Ash.

"My goals are different. I want to attend an academy and after that go somewhere far from here and establish my own nation" said Ash.

Raven is stunned by his words. She did come here to keep an eye on him and report if he is a threat to her family and royal family. Ash did not bother telling her because it would at least remove suspicions on him that he is plotting something against the royal family.

"Do you know what family I am from?" asked Raven.

"Raven Vixen, the illegitimate heir of the Count Vixen family" said Ash.

"So you did know about my identity" said Raven with amusing smile.

"Do you remember, a party is arranged at my father's house two years ago?" asked Ash.

Raven thought for sometime and when memory surfaced she nodded.

"I saw you eating the cake in the corner without any etiquette and when I enquired through my mother I came to know about your name" said Ash.

"So you have identified me as soon as you saw me earlier?" asked Raven.

"Yeah" said Ash with a grin.

"So what's your story?" asked Ash.

"I have been reborn into this world with memories of my previous life intact. I used to work for a spice trading company in the warehouse as supervisor. When I was 28 years of old my fiancée who is my friend in college threw me out of the balcony from 5th floor because he thought I was having an affair with other guy. The truth is the guy who I met has been harassing me in the name of love. So I went to his house carrying a micro camera on my shirt and recorded the conversation which is fed directly to the police. Some of the police were outside the house to protect me. As soon as we got the evidence, the police arrested that guy" said Raven.

"My fiancée was stalking me all the time and he found me going to that bastard's house" said Raven.

"What an asshole" said Ash sneering.

"So, what is your age?" asked Ash

"11 years old" said Raven.

"So you are an year younger than me" said Ash.

"So how did you die on earth?" asked Raven.

Ash replied without hesitation. "Some goons surrounded me and try to extort money but I remained reluctant and thrashed them hard. One of the goons shot me with a gun".

"So we both are killed by scumbags on earth" said Raven laughing.

"Yeah" said Ash laughing.

"Look Raven keep it a secret that I am from another world and I will keep it a secret too" said Ash.

"I will and you better too. We have been given a second chance so I do not want to waste it" said Raven.

"Okay, but I need to ask something?" said Ash

'Yes" said Raven.

"How does your family treat you?" asked Ash.

"Just like you I too face harassment from my siblings and ignored by my father. Since I have the stealth skills, he just wanted to use me to spy on you" said Raven.

"You can report my intentions except my ambitions to build a new nation and my transmigration" said Raven.

"Why shouldn't I report about new nation building?" asked Raven.

"These are my personal ambitions that I am only telling you because you are from Earth. I hope you don't betray my faith" said Ash.

"Then why did you tell me if you don't trust me?" asked Raven.

"Well, I don't know. It my be due to that fact that you are from Earth like me that I decided to reveal the details" said Ash.

"I don't know what your goals are Raven but I am not an enemy to Vixen family and the Royal family" said Ash.

"I understand that but if I go back now they would be suspicious of me so I would have to keep an eye on you for few days to report back" said Raven.

"Okay, take your time" said Ash.

"One more thing. Let us become friends after you finish observing me" said Ash.

Raven giggled and said "Okay. You are an interesting guy and I would like to be friends after completing my job".

"So let us get back to the job at hand" said Raven.

"What new food are we going to introduce now?" asked Raven.

'Let us introduce Burger with fries" said Ash.

"Yeah, I've been waiting to eat them too" said Raven with wide eyes.

Ash laughed at her expression and they both made their way merrily towards the restuarant.
