haku is a guy, any author who make him a girl have the most superficial cannon knowledge. They are just retconing when it get pointed out.

I agree tho authors, in general, still follow the canon, either lazy or lack the creativity. Sometimes, they put mc in place of canon mc then make it harem, which is kinda repetitive I mean what's new I've been reading this plot since a decade ago

ive been wondering why stories like this with bunch of negative comments come on being one of the top in power ranking. lol

I'll give you an example, McDonald's, they have food with questionable ingredients and additives but people keep buying hamburgers that will still be edible for 300 years (I made that up, I don't know how much "shelf life" a McDonald's hamburger has, but it is a long time)

these books on the rankings generally have a lot of traffic some like it some don't usually normal people are more inclined to complain when they are unhappy with something than they are to praise when they are happy with it not to mention some people just find it eh and don't care enough either way so they don't review either which causes these situations that said I've long learned the rankings mean almost nothing as far as quality goes so i just occasionally scroll through the entire ranking list to see if there is anything that catches my interests if so add it to a reading list if it has less than 20 chapters (because a lot of works get dropped before that point so i no longer look at them until they have enough chapters) and if it has at least 20 I'll throw it into my library and read it when I'm done scrolling through the rest of the list

I liked this fanfic at first but then it started common troupe mc has system he gets overpowered when he doesn't need and gets nerfed exactly when the whole war arc starts why to be powerful in Farmlands when you are gonna get weak during war though the writing, mc each and everything is best so far.

Genderbending is different then other story changes. Because for people like me it's simply sickening 🤮🤮. Breaks the immersion completely. Also, most people don't just complain without reason. Usually it's because one of the few reasons: 1) Genderbending 2) Completely changing the power system (Like turning Naruto / One Piece powers into Chinese Cultivation somehow 🙄🙄) 3) Nerfing MC powers with very bad reasoning, when the real reason is that the author simply doesn't know how to continue writing after the MC becomes OP. 4) Nerfing the other Original characters (Power / Intelligence) with no good reason. Power - Most of the time it's because author doesn't even properly understand the world they are writing about and only has some superficial knowledge. Intelligence - Most of the time because author is too dumb to write a smart MC but tries anyway. Ofcourse there are some whiny brats but most people don't mind changes in the story itself. It's only when the authors destroy the essence of the original itself that they are forced to complain. I am not including stories which ignore basic common sense every step of the way cause I don't think that's needed. 💀💀
