The novel doesn't deserve that name. When I saw the name Path of Power, I thought he was just a self-interested, power-seeking, logical person. Mc is just stupid, he should be involved in everything even if he knows the consequences, what does he need from the rest of things to train just to improve his body, but he is the hero Let him play and write stupid excuses for what he does. When it comes to power way, he is someone who only protects his interests and makes logical decisions for power. But mc is just trying to kill himself faster. A fool who does not use his brain, gets caught in his emotions. The trick is in the hands of the wrong person again :D

I don't know if you referred to my FF, if not, just ignore it. There is something called character development, and circumstances. The mc initially needed to grow up and understand what world he was in before he could act seriously. At first, he had more fun than anything, after all, who wouldn't want to be involved with the anime storyline you watched? Early on in FF there was already a distance from canon, and after chapter 30, the story only got better. I don't believe Mc is stupid, he was just naive initially I honestly don't remember Mc being saved without putting a justification, there was always a reason or circumstances. MC didn't start strong, and that is clear even in the later chapters. There was no plot armor that saved him from his defeats. The mc, even in the current chapters, did not become a machine that only thinks about self-preservation as you want it to happen. He cares, even though he no longer has mercy on his enemies. Honestly, I don't see any fun in a mc who doesn't care about anything but strength, doing whatever it takes to get it. He will have a plan for everything that happens, because he is cold and calculating. Boring and uninteresting. Not like Jack Hanma, who despite doing absurd things to get power, still carries feelings, as shown in his interactions with Baki and other fighters.
