Becoming Usopp

The last thing he remembered was falling asleep after he saw the episode of the Straw hats planning along with the Fire Tank Pirates to attack and spoil Big Mom's Tea party. He was quite satisfied with the episode and soon fell asleep after finishing it.

The next time when he opened up his eyes he found himself in a weird place that looked very different from real life. The proper word to describe his current surrounding would be to say that they looked 'anime-like'.

He soon moved his vision around. He seemed to be in an old dilapidated house and was currently lying on a bed which wasn't very comfortable to sleep on. His gaze then fell upon his hands which made him move his arms.

Seeing clearly his thin tanned hands, he quickly got up from his bed. While standing he realised that he had a different point of vision compared to earlier which probably had to do with the height of his body.

He started feeling up his face with his hands and found that he had quite a pointy nose to him. It was more like the one that Pinocchio had. It was so long that he could grab it with both of his hands and still a few centimetres escaped from his grasp.

"What the fuck is with nose?!" He said to himself. Even if he looked ugly, he didn't care but at least he wanted to look like a normal person.

He started searching up the house and fortunately for him, there was a mirror in the washroom which was something he wasn't expecting considering how dilapidated the house was. Looking at his reflection in the mirror he had his jaw opened up in shock.

He pointed at his reflection in the mirror as he said "U-Usopp".

Seeing the reflection in the mirror copying his actions and also wording the same words from its lips he became a hundred per cent certain that he was now in the body of Usopp from One Piece.

"Great! Now I'm both Ugly and abnormal looking. It would be already bad if this was a normal world but it's the world of One Piece. Not only am I ugly with an abnormal nose sticking out of my face but I'm also the weakest of the weak…Fuck!" He said to himself clearly frustrated.

He sat down on the floor with his back leaning on the wall as he gazed at the ceiling thinking of what he should do. His hand slowly reached towards his chest pocket only to find it empty. He couldn't help but chuckle feeling that. It was his habit of picking out a cigarette to smoke whenever he felt stressed.

Now that he was in this new body he no longer possessed a packet with him. Taking a deep sigh of regret he slowly got up from the floor. "I should at least explore this place." He thought to himself.

On his way out of the washroom, he saw a picture that was stuck on the wall behind his bed. It was a picture of Usopp's father and his mother with him a little baby in between. Seeing that, he kind of realized that he must be now in Usopp's village and Luffy was still to come to this island in search of a boat.

Moving out of his dilapidated house he found himself to be in an island because the sea wasn't very far away from him. Feeling the cold breeze coming from the ocean he felt his body shiver a bit which was followed by a sneeze.

Rubbing his nose off he started moving deeper into the island and not long after he started seeing buildings. He finally entered the village and saw people moving around him. Every one whom he passed looked at him hatefully while murmuring 'Liar' under their breath.

He kept on walking and exploring the village and his eyes soon fell on a great mansion that was built on a hill in the village. "So that must be where that girl who is Usopp's friend lives." He thought to himself.

The original reason why Usopp used to go visit her every day was that he liked her, if anyone told him it was because he pitied her or something else then they can keep their word to themselves because if she was not beautiful then he doubted that Usopp would go visit her every day to recite her some stories which he had made up from god knows where.

The only reason he was putting so much effort into this was that he inwardly thought that by being kind to her and by helping her go through these tough times she'll have a change of heart and fall for him.

After all the efforts he had put into making her go through those tough times she only considered him a friend. The Usopp now didn't care about being a friend to her no matter whether she looked beautiful or not. He was already an adult in his previous life and had already felt a number of times how sleeping with a woman feels like.

If he ain't getting a pussy he would rather not waste time on someone like her. So after looking at her mansion he returned back to exploring the island and by evening he had looked all around the island and was much more familiar with it.

On his exploration, he met with those kids who called themselves his subordinates and wanted to play pirate with him. He refused their offer saying that he was busy today and was doing something important to which they booed and ran away afraid that he'll hit them like usual.

Returning back to his house Usopp made himself some food from what was in the house and lit up a candle as his house had no lights. Sitting down on his bed he started thinking things through. He had no powers on himself. His body was weak. He looked ugly. He didn't have much money.

Thinking over his current state he couldn't help but once again became depressed but he quickly shook his head. He didn't want to live a normal life in this village like a normal person now that he had the opportunity to be in an anime world.

He didn't know any man with even a hint of ambition who after being transmigrated here would decide to live an average life on this island and die after reaching old age in this village knowing that there was a huge world for him to explore. A world filled with wonders and surprises.

Setting his mind to explore this world of One Piece with Luffy and the rest, he decided to start working towards it. In the original, he was so weak at the start that it was disappointing. He wanted to change that.

Usopp after making up his mind stood up from his bed and took off his shirt. He soon lay down on the floor and started performing push-ups in the dim light of the candle. He wanted to become strong physically because that's the bare minimum he needed to survive in this world.
