Ekyon has a way of writing that constantly keeps the readers engaged. Neither is it too fast-paced nor too slow paced, and the length of his stories is also perfect by keeping it long enough to engage the readers for a few weeks but also not stretching it out too long to make the reader lose interest
The book and the plot had so much potential, but poor story progression and the build-up of Romantic relationships and his harem pretty much ruined the book for me. I tried to keep up somehow by reaching 430 chapters, but then I just could not because the story didn't make the cut. I hope the author improves and makes sure an interesting plot line does not ruin.
Hey Author, the story background is great, and the plot is interesting, but you really make it too slow, man! Merely because of potential plot, harem, and novel size, I tried to keep my interest and patience, but I'm on chapter 300, and you have failed in keeping the novel interesting. Could have done much better when it comes to keeping the reader engaged
The story, concept, and progression are very interesting, but the writer drags the storyline for too long after chapter 1.5K or so, which really reduces his ability to keep the readers in the loop of interest. The story starts becoming monotonous, and, furthermore, a lack of strong wives of MC really reduces the scope of story development. I say wives, but he has only one partner, and I think the biggest off-putting part is a lack of harem and a weak partner whose relationship with the MC has been kept vague throughout. The writer exposes his lack of depth after 1300 chapters or so. I would not suggest the book read to someone who is a harem fan or likes being involved in a story. A lot has to be improved on part of the writer.
This is a great manhua, but the story development starts becoming a little stale around chapter 200, and also, the ending left a little more to be desires. I believe the MCshouldhave traveled to the immortal world with his companions as it was so clearly emphasized in the beginning. The writer has a lot of scope to improve when it comes to story development.
The book starts on a good storyline basis and has good developmental pace until chapter 200 or so but then it just starts getting slower and unnecessarily elongated. A fantasy fiction if dragged too much can lose its charm. The story also needs a higher focus on the girls to qualify properly as a harem genre storyline.
The plot and background of the story are very interesting, but the story is too slow paced while not being as engaging to do justice to the pace of the story. Additionally, the age of the main characters is too young for them to properly engage in the harem storyline properly. The author is starting good but isn't the smartest narrator while going into the mind game aspect of the story either. He has a good room for growth, but, at best, his overall writing skills are average. I look forward to his growth.
The book starts off quite well and is fun for a couple of hundred chapters but slowly the story starts getting a bit uninteresting and the fact that the MC changes his gender frequently is a big disappointment. If I had to see a female MC wouldn't I start reading the books with female protagonist? Furthermore, the story loses a lot of creativity by the end. I don't give up on stories unless they end up being a huge turn off for the reader in me and this one was the biggest turn off yet.
this was a lovely book and for most of the part it kept me engaged really well in its story, but the ending of the book is very disheartening and heart wrenching wherein the real Lin Fan sadly continues to live his life in eternal darkness and loneliness with the memories of the people close to him who he had to let go forcefully. I wanted a better ending but it was a grt story regardless. I hope to see another novel of a similar nature but with a happier ending
When I started reading this manhua I had some basic expectations from this story and hoped it'll be an interesting book with a climatic ending but it was disappointing to say the least. The beginning is pretty interesting but midway the story ends up losing its steam and the ending leaves loads of unanswered questions which just leaves us endlessly hoping for more answers.
