Synopsis

Everything in Lara and Cameron's life is perfect. They had been married for almost two years, and in that time, Lara had won her third world title, but in one of the last races of the championship, Cameron suffered an accident that would make him leave F1. Lara leaves the competition temporarily to help her husband, but he isn't the same Cameron she had fallen in love and married with. What will happen between the two of them? Will Cameron's stubbornness in believing that they, especially his wife, only want to help him because out of pity or will end up making Lara end up walking away?

Aurora's New Life with the Duke's Grandson!

Aurora Harper had lived her childhood in the confines of a small room with parents who had mostly given up hope and relatives who knew nothing but scorn. Aurora Harper had found glory in her teenage, being celebrated as a gem of the theatre. A performer extraordinaire. She lived in a villa with parents who wanted to suck her dry off opportunities and relatives who knew nothing but bootlicking. At twenty, in another housefull theatre of Harper Productions, she faces an ambiguous death and wakes up in the body of a scrawny five-year-old with no future or fortune in sight. Iris Bernadette. To add fuel to destiny's arson that was now Aurora's life, Iris also happens to a thief! Given a blank canvas of a character with no background of the world or the people in it, how long can Aurora Harper ad-lib her way through life? She finds herself caught up in a flurry of manipulative bets set forth by the young, fun loving and curious Ducal Prince, Arcel Maynard, and the suspicious mannerisms of a lurker of the shadows, Vasil. There is a gorgeous Duchess and her stolen necklace. There is magic, a hunt for a soul and a Priestess. There are faeries, mermaids, ghosts, dragons and murders. There are schools, churches and strange new lands with treasures. There is adventure, romance and deceit. But there is no war. There's also illiteracy and poverty but that isn't life threatening for Aurora, yet. Plummeted into a new world order with a constant existential crises in hand, will Aurora be able to save herself with only her dramatics to get her through? Or will she fall in the web of this Aurora - Iris paradox and succumb to the whims of the people who want to control her? Oh- also, she needs to earn a whole lot of money and get rich. Fast! By any means possible. Will you stay to see her get rich? For if you don't, she'll keep failing thoroughly. [[ the cover is designed by me but art credit goes to pinterest ]]

A Simple Wanderer

A scar has been carved through the Earth, a jagged canyon extends from the distance. At its end, it's deepest section, waves of heat distort view betone recognition. The crater bleeds molten rock down it's sides, still hot from this landmark's creation. The shadowy visage of a humanoid figure becomes recognisable as it comes further from the pit of magma that is the deepest part of the site. It stumbles, and light shining on its front reveals what looks like a human. Blood streaks down from its closed eyes, drawing lines in the layer of soot coating it. The soot covers it's body, but the light pink of it's exposed muscle couldn't be fully hidden. The skin covering it's heels and back was missing, having been worn onto the rock it parted. There would also be a bit spread through the atmosphere from the entry, but most of what is missing was taken upon impact. "Oh f*ck that hurt like a b*tch. Not my best landing." the creature groaned as it ran it's hands over the wounds. It then reached up and grabbed the dirtied skin of it's skull, and tore it apart like a seam. It ripped it down around his torso, having to push it along his arms like removing a too-tight sock. At the hands, it had to pull the finger tips away like a glove before peeling the skin off completely. The legs and feet were dealt with similarly. Stepping out of its own skin, muscle clear to the air with the exception of what the rock coated in soot, it says "Whelp, new world, new me!" in a tone much lighter than the situation would call for. Hello there. I'm a native English speaker/writer, so I like to think I know what I'm doing with this stuff but really though, I don't. So please correct any of my grammatical, cultural, or progressional (plot) errors in the chapter comments. I'm writing this for fun and to prove that if authors actually think for more than half a second when developing their stories, it can actually be good. I won't be updating very often unless this is met with an abnormally good reception, but yeah. Hope you enjoy!
