BIANCA'S POV

I'm a little tired from the flight, but I'm already looking forward to getting back to work, because like Lara, it's something I like to do and it's a way to stay connected with Xurxo, which is great.

When I arrived at the circuit, I went directly to my office to see how the hell I could fix the problems we're having this weekend with the car when I received a call from Cam and it didn't take me long to answer, "How can I help you, Cam?" I asked even though I didn't have my full attention on him. "How the hell didn't you tell me Lara is in the grand prix?" He asked, annoyed. "Because she isn't," I assured, convinced the girl who looked like my sister isn't her.

"Of course she is! The blonde girl who walks between the mechanics and the wall" he pointed out and I laughed, because the same thing we had thought was happening to her "It's not Lara, it's Serena's niece" I informed my best friend "Bianca, I know the way my wife walks, and I assure you that girl is Lara" he insisted and I rolled my eyes "Cam, I'm telling you that girl is not my sister. Besides, she is deaf and mute, and as you know, Lara isn't" I insisted this time "Don't you think it would be convenient for the girl to be mute?" He asked and I frowned not understanding what he was getting at.

"Cam, I swear I have other things to do right now, so I would appreciate it if you would get to the point," I responded, leaning back in my chair and looking up at the ceiling. "Lara knows if she speaks, you would recognize her immediately, so she pretends to be mute. She's always around the places where things are going on, and no one cares about her finding out because she is deaf. Doesn't any of that make you suspicious?" He asked and I took a deep breath, considering what my brother-in-law is suggesting. "Serena said she's her niece," I said, not believing what he's suggesting. "And we both know they get along well and Serena would do anything to get Lara to be happy" Cameron replied and just at that moment I heard two of our mechanics say something about Lara and the car, which I didn't like at all "Shit, you're right, but right now I have to leave you Cam. I swear I'll call you later, but now I have to avoid something," I said without giving him time to answer, leaving the phone on the table and running towards the track.

When I reached the wall, I approached where Eric is and looked at the time screen. "Did Garcia improve?" I asked, hoping it's García or Jorge who were riding in the car and not my sister, but the moment I looked towards the area between our information wall and the one of another team, I noticed García and Jorge were there, which makes me look at the screens again to find out who the hell is riding in our car. "Who is that in the car?" I asked "Lara."

As soon as those words come out of someone's mouth, I turn around and watch as the mechanics head to the box, where I can see Lara arriving. I stood there for a couple of seconds to make sure it was her, and when she takes off her helmet, I see it's true, so I quickly go to where she is.

She stands next to the analysts and I wait a little in the distance, because I'm completely sure I will end up murdering this woman. I doubt driving at three hundred something per era is the best thing for their child, and if there's one thing, I'm more than clear about, it's that I want that child to come into this world, I know it'll make Lara happy.

When she finishes talking to the analysts, she heads towards the break room and it doesn't take me long to follow her. After a little more than a minute, Lara opens the door and leaves it open, making it more than clear to me she knows I'm coming after her.

"Say what you have to say, although I have a slight idea of what you're going to tell me." She said seriously, "Have you gone crazy? You shouldn't be getting in the car Lara, you're pregnant for God's sake!" I said, raising my hands in the air from the frustration I had right now. "I know, and if you're really thinking I'm irresponsible enough to get in the car, you're wrong."

"Are you going to tell me you can do it?" I asked, crossing my arms and trying to see what my sister would come up with now. "I can do a couple of laps." She snorted. "And those turns will become more later." I protested, because that's how my sister always started "They won't do it, because one, I finished doing what I had to do, two, I'm not going to risk my child's life, and three, I'm going home tonight."

As soon as the words come out of her mouth, I stand there not really knowing what to say, because on one hand I didn't expect her to say that. At this moment I'm confused, because during these months I had had my sister with me without knowing it was really her and suddenly she told me she's going to return home as if nothing had happened. "Can you explain to me what's happening here? Because before I discovered you were riding in that car, your husband called me angry for not telling him his wife spent all this time with me, when obviously I had no idea, she was here," I said, annoyed with her.

"I swear I'll tell you, but not now, Sam has the plane waiting for us. I really want to go home and see my husband," my sister insisted and I sighed. "Okay, but you'll tell me once you see your husband" I ordered and she rolled her eyes "Sure" she responded and I calmed down when I saw she's fine "Does Cam know you're going back? Did you even talk to him other than sending him messages saying you love him?" I asked curiously "No, but you won't tell him anything about me going home either" she ordered and I snorted, but with a smile starting to form on my face "Aren't you going to tell him you're going home?" I asked even though I knew her answer going to be. "What fun would it be if I told him?" Lara returned the question and I couldn't help but laugh.

"You don't know how much I've missed you Lara, seriously," I said once our laughter subsided. "Me too, and I'm sorry for being a bitch during these months, but you know that kind of things bother me," she pointed out and I nodded, because that I know "I know, but I assure you nothing like that will happen" I assured and she smiled "You better, because then I'll kill you Bianca" she said with a smile, but I knew she's serious "I love you, Lara" I said sincerely "I love you too Bianca" she responded and gave me a hug that almost made me shed a couple of tears. Now it's more than clear that things would improve between my sister and me, and I'm happy to have Lara back in my life.

LARA'S POV

When I finished changing, I sat on the couch for a while, the phone starts ringing, letting me see Cam's name on the screen and I freeze, just as Sam enters the room. "Aren't you going to answer?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "It's Cam," I whispered and he smiled. "Well, answer him before he hangs up," he said and I thought about it for what seemed like an eternity, but I missed hearing his voice, so I quickly answered and Sam tells me he'll wait outside, leaving the room.

"Wow, I thought you wouldn't answer." My husband said, and from his voice, I could tell he's a little nervous. "Sooner or later, I would answer you." I said laughing, "I swear I've been thinking about what to tell you all this time, but right now I don't know what to tell you."

"I'm still the same as before, Cam." I assured, "Aren't you mad at me?" he asked surprised "I never have been. I left because the whole situation we were experiencing, hurt me. What you said to me that day hurt me. I couldn't afford any more stress than I have on myself." I admitted, "I know, and I'm sorry for everything I said to you. I want to do something to make you forgive me. I would like you to come home." He said and I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face "Honey, you don't have to do anything for me to forgive you. I still love you like I did two and a half months ago. All I want is for you to get better, because I really don't care you have a leg, I still love you just as before." I said calmly, because it's true, "I realized that, during this time we were apart. Will you come home?"

"I will, but not right now, first I have to finish some things in Monaco" I said even though I had already finished "What problems in Monaco?" He asked, probably with a frown. "The car isn't in the best condition and before I leave, I would like it to at least make it run better," I admitted even though I don't think there's much more I could do.

"I don't like where this is going. Tell me you don't have to get in the car." He asked and the smile appeared on my face again, in the end he seemed to still care about me "I already did it Cam." I admitted, "And is that safe for you two?" He asked and again, I nodded. "It's for a couple of turns."

"Don't do any more laps, please." He asked and I nodded "I won't." I assured him, "What if what you did isn't enough?" he asked, probably thousands of ideas piling up in his mind "There's always the simulator. It's not the same as trying it in the car, but I can do something."

"I hope Bianca doesn't know you got in the car." He mumbled and I laughed, I couldn't help it. "Honey, you assured my sister I was on the circuit. Do you really think she didn't come to tell me off about why she didn't know I was with her all this time?" I asked, knowing he would come to the same conclusion I had come to. "Shit, I'm sorry. My intention wasn't for her to tell you off." He admitted and I nodded, because I knew it wasn't. "I know, but don't worry, it wasn't that bad," I assured. "So, when you're done, you're coming home?" my husband asked in a hopeful tone. "I don't know, but I'll let you know," I said, trying to contain the laughter that wanted to escape. "I love you, Lara." He said more calmly, "I love you, Cam." And with that I hung up. I'm glad I talked to Cam, and I just hoped to get this over with so I could go home to my husband and the rest of the family.

After that, I showered and picked up my things to go home, and the moment I open the door, I see Sam with a big smile on his face leaning against the opposite wall. "See how it wasn't going to be so bad?" Sam responded and I laughed out loud "I know, now let's go home, I want to see my husband, my mother and my grandmother" I said with a big smile on my face "Well let's go, the plane is waiting for us" he answered, linking our arms.

Once we arrived at the airport and got on the plane, it didn't take me long to fall asleep and probably with a big smile on my face, because at this moment I'm more than happy to be back home, with my husband and the rest of my family.
