Chapter 1Birth/teaser chapter

[12th century]

A tall man stood inside a large building his face was cold but if one knew the man well enough they would be able to see in his eyes something profound, excitement.

Alas, no one was that close to him.

He has had many children in his time, although he didn't really care about them but, right now he is excited about the birth of one of his children. Many would scoff if you would actually say this man was excited about another child.

You see he has been awaiting this child ever since a seer foretold that this child would grow to become something great, something he would be proud of.

Though those weren't the seer's exact words, she really said, "this child will become a monster, a demon, an abomination! Do not let this child be born!"

Music to the man's ears.

Soon the wails of a child could be heard he approached the human that birthed his child, she looked pale and sickly.

"Why do I feel so weak?" she asked looking at the man

He didn't respond, he swooped up his child.

'Human?' the man wondered

"It is a human?" one of the man's generals asked confused

"Yes, yet a small part of my race has passed over," he replied

"Interesting, what does this mean?" his general asked

The man didn't respond. His emotionless eyes bore into the child.

"His name will be Taban Khan,"

There is garbage then there is this. I was surprised by the rating. The characters of TVD are only used as tools to enhance his plot since he wouldn't be able to write anything compelling without such familiar characters already established. Cop out writing style. MC is a joke and I don't really know where to start. I suspect the writer was neglected as a child and this story came about while coping with it. lol jk. or not.

Definitely enjoyed reading this book the title and description of it along with when started reading caught my attention and got me interested as well intrigued by it especially by the brutal nature and relationship between The Khan family not just that but how he first defeated the Originals and how easily him and his men took care of all of them after being done playing around look forward to reading more of this book definitely cant wait for when ur able to get the chance to continue on with this book I'm curious for what would happen if he went to the Teen Wolf area or Supernatural
