Phase two
-Taban pov-
I sat in my lounge room drinking a fine Sake, it was actually one of my favorites I only drink it on special occasions. This occasion being the start of more chaos. Currently, I idly flipped through progress reports, it seems Jeremy is quite talented in the art of combat, I wonder if he will choose to undergo the ritual.
The ritual is something invented by Han's sect with the help of Elane, and several Bennett witches. It is used to strengthen the body and to improve reflexes, at first your body will automatically react to threats because your reflexes are so high but, as you continue to train you will gain more control. There is also a subsidiary ritual that will make your blood have the properties of wolfsbane and Vervain, it was created by accident funnily enough, one of Han's sect members wanted to try and make himself a plant human, one with nature in a literal sense.
He thought by using Vervain and Wolfsbane two magical plants that the spell will work, the idiot didn't test it first and performed the spell. The next thing he knows his blood is basically highly concentrated Vervain and Wolfsbane mixed together to make something extremely fatal.
I, of course, underwent the same spell seeing as my blood was nirvana for vampires, one time a vampire orgasmed while drinking my blood, lucky it was a girl I don't know how I would feel about a dude doing that.
Those two rituals are as far as I'm willing to go in the ritualistic sense, I don't want to change my body so much, part of me is scared if I do my immortality would vanish.
I would rather lose my empire than my immortality, I can always rebuild.
"Ban, should I start now?" Inari asked as she entered the lounge
Looking out the window I saw the moon was at its zenith, "yes, continue with phase two and remember, show them the truth," I said taking another sip of sake
"Oh, Ban I always love how you always make it seem like this is my first time doing this. Anyways anyone, in particular, I should start with?" Inari said giggling a bit as a playful look crossed her face
Nodding my head I replied, "start with that young vampire Caroline she seems to be the easiest to go after, leave Bonnie for later"
She nodded and playfully remarked, "she did seem easy~ I bet I could crack her in no time!"
"Hmm, go slower we want a gradual rise," I said as I scanned over the reports
"Ah! I see what we are going for," she said nodding enthusiastically
"Have fun," I said as she skipped away
Kitsunes can manipulate dreams, she has been quite useful in that sense putting ideas in others' dreams, and guiding them on the path the council wants.
It's really a shame no other Kitsune wanted to join Inari.
-Dreamworld Caroline, Narrator pov -
A young blond vampire sat at the bar, she was drinking heavily, her hair was down and her eyes had faint bags under them, she looked tired and depressed.
*ding* the noise of the door opening alerted her but she paid no mind to lost in her thoughts
'Why Elena?' she asked herself
'Ugh, I thought I was over this! I'm with Tyler and I'm happy,'
"Dude Tyler why are you even dating Caroline?" she heard one of the football players say
"She's nice," Tyler's voice sounded making her heart warm
"No dude really, why?' the same guy asked
"Okay okay, it's because she's friends with Elena," Tyler said his voice was calm and his heartbeat was steady
His words felt like a stake to the heart for poor Caroline.
'No,' she thought butterfly
"Makes sense, Elena is super hot dude," a different voice said
"Haha, I know hopefully I can ditch Caroline and get with Elena soon," Tyler said
Caroline couldn't take it, she sped out of the bar, not seeing a fox by the door, it seemed to be smiling.
Eventually, Caroline found herself in the woods she kept running wanting to feel free, to let out her frustrations.
*whoosh* she kept running and running
*snap!* and she woke up
-Taban pov -
"Oh Ban you wouldn't believe the fun I had in her dreams," Inari said while eating some lamb
I laughed and replied, "you always do,"
Taking a bite of lamb I looked out of the window and said, "I might hit the town today,"
She nodded and replied, "it's a good idea,"
Of course from where my house is I can 'feel' the entirety of mystic falls, therefore I know where everyone is every second of the day. This also means I know the layout of mystic falls already.
I made my way to the Mystic Grill and decided to get a booth, I could use a drink and meal, even though I just finished my breakfast.
"I would love to have a Cheeseburger," I said to the waiter
"Of course sir, is that all?" the waiter asked
"I would also like a cup," I added the waited smiled and walked off
While I was waiting I saw Klaus was approaching me, it seems like he wanted to talk without meeting me at my place which is smart.
*clack*
*clack*
*clack*
I could hear the sounds of his shoes as her e approached. "Is this seat taken? Klaus asked with a soft smile
"It's all yours Klaus," I said gesturing to the sear before me
He slid into the booth, and we both just looked at each other.
"One cheeseburger and a cup," the waiter said stirring my from my thoughts
I nodded at him and took out the bottle of Sake I brought, it was a nice one but not as nice as last nights.
"Sir would you like to order anything?" the waiter asked Klaus
"I will have the same thing as my friend here," Klaus replied
The waiter nodded and left us alone, I poured some sake into my cup and began to eat.
"Why did you come to mystic falls?" Klaus asked
I took another bite before replying, "I heard about what was going on here, I decided I need to check it out,"
He scowled, "so the news wasn't kept secret,"
"No why would it be Klaus, when has your family ever been under the radar?" I said shaking my head
"Hahaha! I guess your right," he laughed stopping when his food came
"Did you actually think loudly claiming and killing wolves wouldn't attract attention?" I asked
"Well I knew it would but not yours," Klaus replied shrugging his shoulders
"How can you eat everything with Sake?" he asked weirdly looking at me as I drank my sake
"Because I like the stuff," I replied dryly
While I was talking to Klaus, I turned around and made eye contact with Kol who thought he was being sneaky.
"Klaus, why haven't you taken care of the doppelganger and her group of toys?" I asked Genuinely curious
He scoffed and replied, "I need her so hands off,"
My eyes narrowed and a large smile crept upon my face, "oh really?"
His eyes went cold, "yes, she is off limits,"
"Haha it's funny you actually think that I would listen to you," I laughed and got up taking my bottle of sake I started to walk out of the grill
I could feel all eyes were on my back, Klaus was giving off an energy of being worried.
As I left I saw Bonnie along with Caroline walking toward the grill, I look straight into Caroline's eyes not paying the Bennett any mind.
Smiling I got into my car and drove off, if Bonnie is anything like the ninjas have reported she would have noticed me not paying any mind to her and it would annoy her greatly.
As I drove home I took in the sights of Mystic Falls, it wasn't a bad town at all. When I got home I sat in my lounge once more but, this time I was planning. I know Esther is planning something I just don't know what it is, I would have to either adapt to her plans or capitalize off of them.
As I was thinking my phone began to ring.
*ring*
*ring*
"Jack, it's good to hear from you," I said in a chipper tone
"Ban, I am calling to see if you are doing anything interesting, I am bored over here," he replied
Shaking my head I told him, "I'm in Mystic Falls right now, it would be too early for you to come but, I have another idea,"
"Oh really? Do tell," jack said his tone laced with excitement
"I want you to help train the doppelganger's brother, he is talented and training in the warrior program," I said calmly
"Oooh, I haven't taken a protege in forever, I will enjoy this opportunity send me the location," Jack replied I could hear the excitement in his voice
"Good luck," I said hanging up
Well, this will be interesting, I'm either training a monster or he will break.
Looking back out of my window I could see Mystic Falls clearly, I couldn't wait to start poking holes through their defense.
