Chapter 1Chapter One The Merge

In a land of fairytales far far away from the world we know there was a village situated at the border of a kingdom known as the great Shifao Dynasty. A mighty kingdom known for their worship of Catara, the goddess of peace and prosperity.

This village had a humble population, barely reaching a hundred inhabitants. What was special about them was their worship. They, unlike their neighboring villages and cities, worshiped their own god. a minor deity of sorts. It was a humble little deity of nature, with a humble beginning. It was born through the desperation of the villages. They had faced many seasons of bad harvest and one day one of the villagers decided to carve a totem. This totem would become a pillar of belief, as the villager managed to convince its fellow villagers to pray to the totem and through pure luck, the next season was a plentiful harvest that lasted them through the winter, all the way to the spring. Later on it became a tradition to worship this totem. It became like a secondary god to these people and many, many years later, it was born.

A young nameless deity of nature sprung forth through the faith of the villages and with time it grew smarter and smarter. The little faith it got from the villages gave it the power to bless the lands, giving them plentiful harvest. Bringing unforetold joy to the villagers. This cycle of life would last for generations to come, but one day something changed. a caravan of merchants arrived in the village. They traded goods with one another and it became a tradition. Every year at midsummer they would come, selling new toys and tools to the villagers and convincing them that this totem deity they worshiped wasn't real.

As years passed the young deity could feel itself growing weaker and weaker as it was forgotten more and more every passing season. It fell into despair. All its life it had been loved, cared for and appreciated. But now, it was being forgotten, left to gather dust as the villagers grew distant from their once sacred tradition of worship.

In its mourning unbeknownst to itself it had casted a curse on the land, a powerful hatred that made the land decay and the next year, not a single crop came to be. That winter many of the villagers starved, mothers were incapable of producing milk for their own children due to the lack of food and all born that year, passed away the very same.

The young deity horrified by its own actions, wished for it all to end, blaming itself for the death of all within the village. Its wish would be answered, but not in a way the deity could imagine.

But enough of that for now, let us return to our world, where our little friend Jantyr was facing his end.

In a hospital bed in a city known as Tyr Kork Jantyr laid. Around him were his friends he had made along the road of life and the family he was blessed to create. A tearful farewell was taking place in this hospital for Jantyr was at the end of his road. A year ago Jantyr was informed of a stage three cancer growing inside of him. But it was already too late. It had already rooted deep inside of him and couldn't be removed. Many tears were shed that day.

Now many months later, he laid on his deathbed, surrounded by the people he had come to love, under the course of his short life.

With a last sprout of strength he reached out to his daughter and she grabbed his hand reluctantly. She wasn't ready to say goodbye, not yet. She was only seventeen years old, she couldn't lose him yet! They still had so many memories left to make.

Jantyr used his last strength to gently stroke her cheek, then his hand slowly reverted and laid upon his lap. He smiled at his daughter for the last time and closed his eyes slowly.

Seconds after the sound of a machine beating furiously ruined the atmosphere in the room, as his death finally sinked in.

Such a pity, for a life to end so early. Not even in his forties yet and yet he died. Luckily for him, fate seemed to have something else in store for him.

In this world far far away the deity would for the first time in its life become unconscious. As it slept something strange happened, the totem from which it manifested shone with a blue light, as something entered it.

(Some time later)

'What, where am I?' The deity thought to itself. It felt out of place, yet at home at the same time. Strange memories had become part of its subconsciousness. A different entity with its own thoughts. But that was changing quickly, as it felt itself become part of that strange entity. Memories and personalities began merging with both parties until both were gone, giving birth to a new life.

This new life quickly came to terms with its new reality, understanding what it was. Even if it didn't understand how it came to be. The creature came to question the choices the deity had made up to this point and started to change for the better.

~Pov the fusion known as Jantyr~ (First person)

It's so confusing, one second ago I was being depressed and dying at the same time and now I'm me. I feel a longing for a family I once had, that I know isn't mine. It was the Jantyr before me, before I robbed his memory together with a young deity. I'm me after all, my own being, built from their desire and will.

My internal monologue came to an end, as a young woman about one and a half meters long entered the room. She was quite the beauty for her kind and is one of the longest villagers. A part of me wanted to see her as a dwarf, my so-called human side, but my other life denied that outrageous thought. She was a proud young Falken woman. A species known for their lifespan and talent in magic. Sadly none of the villagers seemed to possess such talent. Something that disappointed me. The aspect of magic seemed to excite me tremendously. Like a dream come true.

The women walked forward to the totem that symbolizes my life. In her frail hands was some sort of dried berry. It seemed to be from last years harvest, one of the last scraps of food they had left.

"Please forest deity forgive us!" the young woman said, as she got on her knees and offering the berries in her hands. Something about her frail figure, asking for forgiveness stirred something inside of me. I had to help them, this is my fault!

(Author here: Hi, hope you liked the introduction to my second story. I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.
