A smart guy is transmigrated into the body of Yun Che right at the beginning of his third life, when he was supposed to reincarnate. This person is very different from the original Yun Che - he is rational, cool headed, matured and will make full use of Yun Che's various cheats and his own knowledge of the original story to walk a very different path. However, he has not read the original story in full, since the story had not yet come to an end by the time he was transmigrated. How will this lack of knowledge affect him? In a bedroom of Xiao clan, Floating Cloud city, a young teenage boy slept on a comfortable bed.
Suddenly, the pendant he was wearing glowed brightly for a moment before going back to normal. The boy came back to consciousness and opened his eyes.
Seeing his surroundings, the boy was puzzled. The last he remembered, he was caught in a road accident and had fatal injuries. He was not expecting to survive and had already come to peace with his death.
He then felt somewhat strange in his mind and closed his eyes to self introspect. What he found shocked him. He found another two sets of memories in his mind along with his own. But these memories were neatly organised such that he could willingly access any of these memories and know its contents, just like opening a file in a computer.
In other words, his memory had become similar to a computer's memory, containing two different sets of 'files' he could access at any time. Moreover, he could access and read these memories extremely quickly.
This did not apply to his original memories though – they were completely natural and the memories he formed from that point onward would also be completely natural.
Within moments, he had roughly browsed through both the new sets of memories. The first set belonged to someone named Xiao Che who was actually the owner of the bedroom he was in. The second set belonged to someone named Yun Che who had committed suicide by jumping off a cliff at the last moments of his life.
He also gained knowledge of a lot of other things – Profound Sky continent, Azure Cloud continent, profound energy cultivation, Sky Poison Pearl, Xiao clan and a lot more. The second set of memories contained a lot of knowledge of the Miracle of Life, but he had not browsed that in details yet.
The youth had realized what had happened and was utterly dumbfounded. He had reincarnated in the body of Yun Che – the protagonist of a novel he both loved and hated a lot, from his previous life.
He could not understand how this phenomenon could have happened.
'Is this the famous phenomenon called Truck-kun', he idly thought.
'Never mind, I had always fantasized about reincarnating as Yun Che and fixing all his mistakes anyway. I loved the world of this story but hated its protagonist for how dumb, emotional, arrogant and perverted he was. Now that I am the protagonist instead, I can change all that and make full use of all the legacies and treasures I am going to obtain.'
The youth had paid special attention to the language contained within Yun Che's memories and had completely learnt it. From what he could tell, it was very different from any of Earth's languages, including Chinese.
'From now on, I am Yun Che.' He thought.
"Xiao Che!" Xiao Lingxi ran into the bedroom with an anxious face, relieved to see that her nephew had finally woken up.
'Ok, for the time being I am Xiao Che.' He rectified himself in his mind.
"I am feeling alright now little aunt, tell grandfather there is no need to bring doctor Situ anymore." Xiao Che assured his aunt with a calm smile, not giving any indication that an extradimensional phenomenon had just occurred.
He found to his immense relief that the body's previous memories were not influencing him in any manner and he was not feeling any emotional attachment towards Xiao Lingxi. It meant he could truly be free from the influence of Yun Che's original personality.
After his aunt fussed about him for some time and finally left, he looked at his left palm. There he found the Sky Poison Pearl which had fused with him or rather, one half of the Sky Poison Pearl as he knew from his Meta knowledge. With a little effort, he confirmed that he was able to use the Sky Poison Pearl in several ways.
Xiao Che sat on his bed, contemplating his future plans. He had read up to volume 17 of the original story, which contained a significant amount of information, but not all. There were many things that he had no idea about, including the final antagonist/obstacle/challenge of the protagonist in the story, if there existed any.
Thus, he had no idea how to plan for such an unknown future.
However, he knew for a fact that in cultivation stories, no obstacle was impossible to overcome with a high enough cultivation base and strength. As long as he just kept acquiring more treasures and cultivated to the peak, he would definitely be able to overcome the final challenge, no matter what it was.
He also knew about one upcoming disaster in a few years that he would have to prevent – the True Devils led by the Heaven Smiting Devil Emperor, returning to the Primordial Chaos plane with the intention of vengeance.
To prevent that, he would have to form a good relationship with the Evil God's daughters, and secure a place in the group that would go to greet the Heaven Smiting Devil Emperor, so that he could prevent any conflict from happening and would be able to form an alliance with the Devil Emperor.
After a few hours of careful thinking, Xiao Che had formed a general plan for his future, not just against the disaster but also for his cultivation. If everything went perfectly, he would be able to conquer the entire Realm of the Gods by the time the Devil Emperor arrived.
Not just that, he would also get at least three beautiful... female companions, all of whom would play critical roles in his future plans. Of course, he was not a womanizer; he was not going to pursue every single woman who was physically attractive.
Soon, his wedding ceremony with Xia Qingyue began. Looking at Qingyue, Xiao Che felt complicated emotions. He was not romantically attracted to her, since he was not at all affected by physical appearances, but he did have a soft spot for her.
After all, having read up to volume 17 of the original story, he knew that Qingyue had a tragic future, in which she would make a very big sacrifice – she would sacrifice Yun Che's love for her, by pretending to destroy Blue Pole Star and would deliberately make him hate her, and then she would commit suicide by jumping into the Abyss of Nothingness.
Xiao Che had already decided that he was going to cherish Qingyue in this life and would give her a happy future. More importantly, she was one of the people who played a large role in his future plans.
Ignoring all the hateful and disdainful looks sent at him from most of the people of the city, he finally completed the wedding rituals and the marriage contract was signed.
Soon it was night. The first step of Xiao Che's plans had begun.
