Having reached the Wasteland of Death, Yun Che first did a very important thing which set off one of his stand-by plans: taking off his pendant, he stored it inside the Sky Poison Pearl, right in front of Jasmine. After all, originally it would have been taken away by a profound beast called Storm Hawk which would have caused a lot of inconvenience.

Jasmine was startled at this and curiously took a closer look at the pendant. After some careful probing, she cried out in shock, "This... this is the Mirror of Samsara, another Heavenly Profound Treasure! How did you get this? How many more treasures and legacies have you kept hidden from me?"

Yun Che smirked smugly and said, "One more. I will tell you all about them if you accept the deal. Won't you accept it even now?"

Jasmine was torn. She didn't want to tell Yun Che about the Divine Realm, since the people there could recognize his various legacies and treasures if he ever went there, and that would cause him immense trouble. But now that Yun Che had two Heavenly Profound Treasures, one Creation God legacy, one True God legacy, one unknown legacy/treasure and was about to get even more, perhaps she would never be able to stop him from eventually going to the Realm of Gods.

After all, with this many legacies and treasures, he would be an unprecedented prodigy even in the Divine Realm.

But most importantly, she was curious! She was curious how a crippled boy could obtain not one, but two Heavenly Profound Treasures, who the girl that appeared in the Phoenix trial was, and what was the unknown treasure/legacy that he had.

And if/when in the future Yun Che achieved the Divine Master realm, he could possibly help her take her revenge if she told him her story...

Thus giving herself various reasons and rationalizing her decision, Jasmine finally accepted the deal. Yun Che started first and told her of the actual life story of the original Yun Che, not his own of course. He also told her that the last legacy he had was the knowledge of a divine medical book which could diagnose and treat just about anything, which according to the Evil God's inherited knowledge, was one half of a book known as 'Miracle of Life'.

Jasmine was shocked and explained to him that the 'Miracle of Life' was the legacy of another Creation God just like the Evil God – Li Suo, the goddess of life and also the original owner of the Primordial Seal of Life and Death. She also explained that the other half of the book was with a person from her homeland known as the Dragon Empress Shen Xi.

She then explained her own life story to him. She told him about the Realm of the Gods, cultivation realms above the Sovereign Profound realm, the various royal God realms including the Star God realm which she belonged to, how her brother was tricked and betrayed by the princess of the Brahma Monarch God realm, how she wanted to get the Evil God's legacy to take revenge and how she was poisoned by the Absolute God Slaying Poison and collapsed upon arriving to Floating Cloud city.

Yun Che already knew all this, but still listened to Jasmine with rapt attention, in case she said something that he already didn't know. Finally, he reassured her, "Don't worry master. When I become strong enough, I will personally take revenge on your behalf. This would be the least I can do for everything you are doing for me."

Jasmine asked excitedly, "You will really kill that Qianye bitch?" After learning that he had another Creation God legacy, she didn't have any more doubts that he could indeed do so. Additionally, he had speculated that all the good fortune he had was directly caused by the Mirror of Samsara, which made it all the more probable.

Yun Che shook his head, "Kill? I won't kill her. Death is not a punishment, it is only a means to self satisfaction for the killer. When a person dies, he comes to an end, he cannot suffer anymore. That is not true punishment. No, I will give her a lot of pain and will make her repay her debt to you through her own actions."

Jasmine's eyes brightened. She imagined Qianye Ying'er grovelling at her feet as a slave and following her orders, and got a mental orgasm. She would indeed find that much more satisfactory than simply killing her.

"Yes, I like that plan, disciple. As a reward, from now on I will call you by your name and you may also address me as 'Jasmine'."

Yun Che smiled and replied, "Thank you Jasmine. I won't disappoint you." He was elated in his heart: his relationship with Jasmine had gone a little closer to his desired status.

Jasmine didn't know the real reason why he refused to kill Qianye Ying'er though. He knew that Ying'er herself had been tricked and was being manipulated by her father, and when this would be exposed she would betray the Brahma Monarch God realm and would become his ally. At that time, she too would become a player in his long term plans.

By this time, Yun Che had arrived in the central region of the Wasteland of Death. On the way, he had killed several powerful profound beasts, a bandit group and had concealed his aura to escape the detection of more powerful profound beasts that would be too difficult for him to kill.

Finally, he had arrived at his destination: the Dragon God's trial grounds, being guarded by two Flood dragons at the peak of Sky Profound realm.

It was at this point that he used his remaining Star Concealing pellet that he had been saving until now. Consuming the pellet, he turned absolutely invisible, and his concealment technique made it impossible for the Flood dragons to detect his presence in any way.

Using the Star God's Broken Shadow continuously, he rapidly made his way to the Dragon God's trials and finally reached the cave. At this time, the spirit of the Primordial Azure Dragon appeared and spoke to him, easily able to see him despite his double layer concealment.

"Human, welcome to the trial grounds of the Dragon God."

Pleased, he spoke, "Human, you have a lot of treasures and legacies on you. You are definitely qualified to take part in this trial. However be warned, unlike the trial of the Phoenix, you cannot quit this trial once it has begun. You will die if you cannot succeed."

Yun Che said, "I understand. I have a request: instead of taking the basic bloodline inheritance trial, I want to take the hardest, complete inheritance trial."

The Dragon God's legacy was divided into three levels: bloodline inheritance, true inheritance and complete inheritance.

Bloodline inheritance was the most basic and offered only three drops of the Dragon God's bloodline. This was the inheritance level of the dragons of the Dragon God realm.

True inheritance was a step further and was not available to anyone in the current era. It offered six drops of the Dragon God's bloodline, the Dragon God's bone marrow and the Dragon God's soul. The original Yun Che would have become a true inheritor.

Complete inheritance was the highest and was not available to anyone in the current era, nor would it be available to anyone in the original sequence of events. It provided everything of the Dragon god, including his soul essence, origin energy, bone marrow and all of the bloodline.

Basically, it was to the Dragon God's legacy what obtaining all the Evil God's seeds would be to the Evil God's legacy.

"Are you crazy?" Jasmine shrieked inside the Sky Poison Pearl. She was already shocked that the next treasure was actually the legacy of the Dragon God, the strongest True God in the primordial era, but she understood as the Dragon God was a close friend of the Evil God.

But asking for the complete inheritance trial was a whole another level of insanity. "Yun Che, you don't have to do this! You already have so many legacies and treasures, just getting a bloodline inheritance will be enough."

Yun Che reassured her, "I must take the best I can if I want to grow strong enough to avenge your brother. Relax, I will be fine, I already have a plan."

He said this, but the truth was that he was excited! He was already more powerful than he was originally supposed to be at this point, and he firmly believed he could pass this trial on the hardest level. And he wanted to challenge himself by attempting something that he didn't already know about from his meta knowledge.

Jasmine was taken aback and moved to tears upon hearing that he was doing this for her. Feeling guilt in her heart, she decided to personally intervene and save him in case he got into a certain death situation, even if it would hamper her own recovery.

The Dragon God's spirit was surprised, no one had ever passed his true inheritance trial and the complete inheritance trial was even more difficult. But this youth could indeed possibly pass it.

"Understood. Get ready for the first trial."
