Yun Che and Fen Juechen left the Burning Heaven Clan in a carriage to escort Xiao Lingxi and Xiao Lie back to the Xiao clan. The Burning Heaven Clan had not been massacred and had been left intact due to two reasons – first, the current Yun Che was uncomfortable with the idea of massacre though he had adjusted to the idea of killing, and second, he didn't have any personal enmity with the Burning Heaven Clan and all his actions were for purely practical benefits.

Cang Wanhe was saved which net him sufficient money, Fen Juecheng was eliminated which ensured Cang Yue got together with Ling Jie, the key to Eternal Night Royal Family legacy was obtained which ensured Fen Juechen was not turned into a future threat, and Fen Juechen himself got his life made easier.

And it wasn't like the Burning Heaven Clan had been let off lightly. Their successor and Grand Clan Master had been killed, Burning Soul Flower had been lost, Heavenfire Star Burning Formation had been rendered useless, key to Eternal Night Royal Family legacy had been lost, one of their chief disciples had been crippled and due to Yun Che's indirect actions, several Sky Profound realm elders had died at the Scarlet Dragon Mountain Range.

The Burning Heaven Clan was utterly crippled. If they wanted to retain their status as one of the strongest sects of Blue Wind Empire, they had to invest all their resources into Fen Juechen, which was what Yun Che wanted.

His enmity with the Xiao sect was personal though. Their young master Xiao Kuangyun had tried to get his hands on both Xiao Lingxi and his wife Qingyue through underhanded means. They had taken in Xiao Yulong, who had conspired with Xiao Kuangyun and had been responsible for Yun Che getting banished from the clan, although it was within his plans. And Xiao Yulong's father had gleefully given away Xiao Lie and Xiao Lingxi to Burning Heaven Clan this time.

Yun Che hardly ever took anything personally, but his recent developing feelings for Qingyue had made him less perfect than he normally was. He was indeed taking this conflict personally.

Leaving Fen Juechen to guard the carriage, he flew off to the Xiao sect. Once at his destination, he directly flew to the central building, which was the location of their sect master. Barging into the sect master's private meditation chamber, he swiftly knocked Xiao Juetian out and flew out, holding him by the throat, dangling pathetically.

The entire sect had been alarmed by his actions and all the elders had rushed out. These included Xiao Boyun, Xiao Zheng and Xiao Wuji. Yun Che asked with a thunderous voice, "Where is Xiao Kuangyun?" It was clear that he was asking this question while holding Xiao Juetian hostage.

Xiao Boyun and Xiao Zheng hurriedly left to alert the Grand Sect Master and Grand Elder of the situation, while Xiao Wuji pointed Yun Che to Xiao Kuangyun's location. Yun Che flew to the location while dragging Xiao Juetian along and found that Xiao Kuangyun and all of his lackeys, including Xiao Yulong, were at the place.

Fortunately, they were not engaged in any disgusting act at this moment.

Upon seeing the flying Yun Che, everyone who had been at the Xiao clan back then recognized him as the crippled trash that had been evicted from the clan that day. They also faintly recalled that a person with the same name had reached the final of the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament 4 months ago.

Xiao Yulong was baffled and flabbergasted upon seeing Yun Che here, and flying no less. Because that could mean only one thing: Yun Che had reached the Sky Profound realm. Xiao Kuangyun recognized his father held in Yun Che's hand and got a terrifying premonition.

Yun Che retrieved Xiao Yulong's corpse into the Sky Poison Pearl and turned to the others who were standing there, frozen with terror. Xiao Kuangyun understood at this moment what that premonition was about. His actions at the Xiao clan that day had brought this upon them.

Yun Che made sure no one else was watching them and used the Star Scorching Demon Lotus. This was one move he had not used in a long time, but that soon wouldn't be necessary anymore. A wave of Phoenix fire spread out and burnt everything and everyone in a 60 metre radius around him. The Xiao sect disciples didn't even have a chance to scream as they were burnt to ashes.

Finally, Yun Che tossed Xiao Juetian in the air and slashed down with a Heavenly Wolf Slash, the sword beam neatly cutting apart the sect master into two.

"Nooo!" A cry of anguish came from behind him and Yun Che had to use the Star God's Broken Shadow to dodge an incoming attack from the Grand Sect Master, Xiao Wuqing. The old man had, after all, seen both his son and grandson killed in front of his eyes and had been unable to save them.

Yun Che immediately used a Falling Moon Sinking Star and killed the maddened Grand Sect Master. The Grand Elder and Xiao Wuqing's brother, Xiao Wuyi attacked him then, also in a berserk fury. Of course, that was also of no use as Yun Che once again killed him with the same move.

Finally, no one else was coming to attack him. And no one who had seen him use Phoenix fire had been left alive.

He flew back to the center court of Xiao sect and dropped the bodies of Xiao Wuqing, Xiao Wuyi and Xiao Juetian unceremoniously before all the people. He addressed them, "All this happened because Xiao Kuangyun harassed me and even tried to steal my wife a year ago when he had gone to Floating Cloud city. From now on, teach your disciples not to unnecessarily provoke someone, or this may happen again."

Saying this, he flew back to the carriage. He was not interested in the Xiao sect as a whole; they were the most underwhelming of the four major sects. Heavenly Sword Villa had the backing of the Mighty Heavenly Sword Region, Burning Heaven Clan had the key to the Eternal Night Royal Family legacy and Frozen Cloud Asgard was established by Mu Bingyun of the Snow Song Realm. But Xiao sect didn't have any backing or legacy.

They arrived at the Xiao clan shortly and everyone there was shocked speechless to discover Yun Che, who had been banished from the clan more than a year ago. Before they could lash out at him though, he retrieved Xiao Yulong's corpse from the Sky Poison Pearl and dropped it at their feet.

Then he unleashed his full profound aura of 8th level Sky Profound realm, pressuring all the Xiao clan people there to kneel. "I have now achieved Sky Profound realm strength. Unfortunately for you, I am no longer a member of your clan. I have taken my revenge on Xiao Yulong. And this is also a warning to you for giving away grandfather and little aunt to the Burning Heaven Clan. Treat them well from now on, I will be watching you."

Xiao Lie and Xiao Lingxi were returned to the Xiao clan.
