Hey guys, shameless author review here. I hope you guys like and enjoy what you have read till now and please look forward to more. I could not post for the past week(5th September)2021 because I had a family emergency and was not in the right mindset to write. Rest assured, chapters will be updated on schedule from now on

Holy cow, this god me addicted almost in instant! Great backstory, gives great view on character's emotional state. Keep it up. I'll be waiting for more chapters!

Nice work author-nim, sincerely speaking. it got me hooked, I felt the boy's emotional pains. I wondered how he survived through his elementary school days without being mentally unstable. I'm still reading author and I must say I like the storyline

very good story. Plot writing is very interesting and intrigued me. especially in writing the prologue is also interesting. I learned a lot while reading this. but what I noticed is, the lack of depth to the characters written when giving the impression of Dark or sad. well, I know because it's still early so... nevermind. apart from that, good job and keep the spirit to write

First of all Writing quality is on point!👌 And the descriptions are very well placed, the prologue looks nice and it's great how you pointed out the ML suffering but I think you need to add more feelings to the book to make it more realistic but ilobed the FL povs, all the more it's a great work and keep up the good work !👍✨

So much emotion! This is well written and clearly gives the character’s motivation and backstory. I found my heart aching for the the characters, and I was very intrigued by the concept. I will definitely be reading more. Great work, author!!

writing quality is good. nothing to say here but keep it up. the stroy development, for me, is balance. a little bit of the mcs past through prologues are okay. character designs are on point. its vivid in my imagination [img=recommend] and their personality comes out. updates .i couldnt say anything since its a new novel world background, we'll see in the fture. its still new keep up the good work [img=recommend]

That's quite a god beginning. The prologue was... intriguing. The world building was short but precise. Looking forward to more updates in the future. And Character development, it's going good. Let's wait and see how he will turn out, a hero or an anti hero. I wonder...

This story is on to a good start. The characters have conflicts that makes people feel sad and feel for them. Good enough at least. The depth of the story and characters are lacking a little, but not enough to put off the readers. There are spelling and punctuation mistakes, but it's not too severe to confuse someone badly. In the end, keep it up! The story is good so far.

The background story of the characters was depressing, it made me feel sad. Goes to show that the story was well-written. Love it. Good work!

Very well written, found a few typing errors here and there but they didn't take away from the story at all. suggest going back and finding them whenever you have free time. First book i've read on here that made me feel emotion for the characters being written about. Can't wait to see what happens with Lucan and hope to see Iris in the future. :D

Moderate paced story From a Vocabulary and grammar point of view, a really good work. And the theme contains exposing the cruelty and abuse towards children... Dear author all the best. I really like this.

Great concept, i like your Mc, the pacing is great and your writing style is good, yes there are a few errors but that doesn't affect one reading, The plot is quite interesting especially with the struggles of the Mc, I would love to see where the story goes. Overall a good read and good luck author.

The author did a great job in setting up the character's circumstances through his or her writing, which will be the most important aspect of the novel based on its title. The pacing is great and so is author's writing-style. Though I hope MC will find his bearing and go against his circumstances and conquer his readers! The start is a bit dark and gloomy though, ngl. But I guess all is well. :)

I really enjoyed this story in the view of an abused little boy who found hope through a character on the cover of a book. It's a really nice idea that I don't think has been used as much. The writing was very nice and easy to follow with only a few slip ups. I will say that Souta's journey through school felt rushed. I would've loved to see an entire chapter about what he went through during that time instead of rushing through it. The character description of Iris was very beautiful. I didn't see many descriptions about the location/environments the characters were in, I would love to see that added. The story also has some elements of tell and don't show like during the beginning of the Iris segment. All in all, this story is very well done. it's mistakes are keeping it back though these mistakes are very easy to fix. I wish you luck in your journey to improving!

Ok, so, this story certainly starts off with a main character being in a completely miserable situation. The pacing of negative emotions with a moment or two of positive stuff or neutrality sprinkled in makes it readable, and I like the general feel of the language. The first chapter is one of the best chaps in this novel. The second has a bit of an infodump syndrome going on, but it's not the worst I have ever seen. A nice MC. A genuinely nice one. Perhaps the side characters could be a bit more fleshed out, but I see nothing wrong with the main character. Somehow, the author just pushes the right emotional buttons. So the strength is the feeling of sympathy. The weakness is that everything seems to revolve around the most central concepts of the story and at times, it does not feel fleshed out. Doesn't make it unreadable of course. And the language is enjoyable as well.

Still a very new novel, but interesting read so far. I enjoyed the seven chapters I've read and I am actually rather interested in finding out what happens next. Well done!

Emotions in fiction exist when the characters are relatable, and this novel had done it well. Read five chapters (the prologue) and you'll be rooting for them. Don't worry, the pace guides you slowly through, so the reader would never trip and be lost. If you loves a book that can talk with you then I recommend Victims Of Circumstance.
