East Blue
One day on a dark and frigid night thunder clapped in the sky. As the sound of thunder rolled across the vast sea. A strong wind released a ghostly howl so loud it was as if the sea its self was calling for its next victims. The strong winds agitated the waves making them rise and collapse on top of each other.
Any fool could see that a storm was brewing. A smart man would lock up their home and wait out such a storm. But this isn't a world for simply smart men this is a world where the strong dominate the weak. This world is for the brave and adventurous few who would risk life and limb in search of their dream. This is a world filled with pirates and those brave few willing to stand against them.
Inside of that impending storm, these two forces clash on a populated island filled with scared citizens. The city was lit ablaze hordes of pirates ran rampant all over. Raping, stealing, killing, setting more things ablaze for no purpose further than just to watch it burn.
The navy who are those sent to protect such cities were overwhelmed. They fought the pirates in the streets, inside civilian homes, and on the churning ocean. But they were grossly outnumbered. Over 2000 pirates were attacking the city while their fleet only numbered less than 500. They all underestimated their opponents and now were dearly paying for it.
"LETS GO BOYS, KILL THEM ALL"
"GUYS CHECK THIS OUT THIS FUCKER WAS LOADED HELP ME CARRY IT BACK FOR CAPTAIN DON KRIEG"
"DON KRIEG IS THE BEST HE'S GOING TO BECOME KING OF THE PIRATES".
"DON KRIEG", "DON KRIEG", "DON KRIEG".
"MORE MARINE ARE DOCKING ONSHORE LETS GO GET THEM".
"YA!!!"
"I'll catch up with you guys later it's been ages since I've had a fuck this good". Uttered a fat burly man thrusting his lower half vigorously as he dominates a petite woman less than half his age. Tears flowed down her face as she painfully heaved and moned in disarray all while starring at the body of her now deceased father. Scenes like this repeated throughout the city as the krieg pirates ran rampant all through the town.
On the island shores, the sight of hundreds of navy soldiers fighting dozens of pirates could be seen. More pirates trickled down from inside the city from all over while the navy stood their ground and pushed through. As the pirates recklessly charged forward the navy soldiers stood in a straight line and aimed their rifles forward. With each step, the pirates drew closer quickening their approach to death.
Once the pirates were 50 meters from the marines they opened fire. A cacophony of gunfire erupted producing a seemingly invisible iron wall that the pirates could not cross. Clearly distinguished from the long line of bodies lying dead on the floor. Some pirates were scared from that one display but the morale for most was too high to be scared off from a few dead.
In the background of this battle on the harsh sea cannon fire sounded outward as it lit up the dead of night. Cannon shells crashed hard into the sides of the ships flinging up chips of wood and bodies alike down into the cold depths below.
On a navy ship, one of the captains shouted, "HOIST THE SAILS THE WIND IS STARTING TO BE TO STRONG".
"CAPTAIN LOOK STARBOARD (right side) they're TRYING TO RAM US".
Hearing the warning from his crewmember the navy captain looked to his right only to see a massive ship with an incredibly large iron ax head Welded on the front charging straight at them. Seeing the incoming danger the navy captain took a risk to save his ship and his crew.
"DROP THE ANCHOR, READY THE CANNONS AND GET READY TO UNFURL THE SAILS. ONLY FIRE ON MY COMMAND".
While the order was a bit strange the navy soldiers were trained to believe in their superior officers and to follow orders not question them so that's exactly what they did. The navy soldiers dropped the anchor down without a second thought. Once the anchor dropped the crew felt a powerful tug on the ship that made everyone lose balance.
The captain endured and quickly turned the ship. As the navy ship weaved out of the way the charging pirate ship narrowly misses them. As the two ships passed by each other both sides can clearly see the crew on the other. The pirates curse at their enemies while the marines do the same. Both captains navy and pirate alike cut their crew's heartfelt exchange with two simple words.
"OPEN FIRE".
"OPEN FIRE".
The deafening booms tore each ship apart and beat rhythmically with the chain of lighting arching in the sky. The strange thunder twist and turned going completely unnoticed as it converged in the center and built up its power in a frightening magnitude.
After the cannon fire stopped both ships were tattered. Multiple holes in the bow of the ships ensured that they would sink in time. Unsatisfied with this outcome the marine captain used the remaining momentum from when he dropped the anchor to complete a 360-degree turn placing him directly behind the pirate ship. As soon as the ship arrived there the crewmen cut the anchor allowing it to sink into the sea.
"FIRE THE FRONT FACING CANNONS AND UNFURL THE SAILS WE NEED SPEED".
Cannon shell after cannon shell blasted through the back of the pirate ship. The pirate captain could feel the pressure. His crew wouldn't shut up about how the boat was taking on too much water and was starting to sink. It irritated him to no bounds to hear them blabber at a time like this.
"SHUT UP ALL OF YOU. IF YOU WANT TO DO SOMETHING THEN UNLOAD ALL THE EXPLODING BARRELS AND THROW THEM OVERBOARD. IF WE'RE GOING DOWN THEN WERE GOING TO TAKE THEM WITH US!".
The pirate captain's words riled up his crew into action. It wasn't long until a bunch of barrels started floating behind their ship and exploding next to the navy's. After both ships sank into the sea it didn't mean their fighting ceased. Both sides swam and stood on what wreckage they could find. Battling it out for the last time to decide the fate of the other. The pirate captain unleashed a flurry of gunfire from afar while the marine captain countered by displaying the marine's 6 powers (rokushiki) to the best of his ability.
As that was happening a lighting bolt 6 barrels thick descended from the sky. The resulting explosion was reminiscent of a hydrogen bomb but not nearly as explosive. The explosion was a mile wide and upheaved the entire battlefield. A few ships were flipped over both pirate and navy alike ensuring the death of many as they were fried alive by the millions of volts of electricity coursing through the water.
Many people were mesmerized by the explosion and during that time where everyone was trying to figure out what the fuck was going on a body washed up onto the island shore.
