'Ah, could this be hell.'

Was what the Primera Espada, Coyote Starrk, thought as he gaze at the red sky while lying on a dead grasslands.

'How... pathetic.'

He died without even helping Lord Aizen and failed to take down any enemy. As the Primera, he was supposed to be the most reliable, and Lord Aizen was confident in his power as well.

Aizen remained as a bystander while the rest of the Espada and Arrancars are getting destroyed is because he is absolutely confident that Starrk alone is more than enough help.

Starrk was strong. He himself acknowledges that.

If he did not lose the will to fight, or if he took the fight seriously at the beginning. Then Starrk was absolutely sure to take down more than half of the enemies by himself before being defeated by the others.

But now...

'There is no use dwelling on it.'

He sighed as he closed his eyes. He's already dead anyway, there is no need to think about the affairs of the 'living'.

'Better enjoy eternity in hell.'

As he drifted off to sleep, Starrk failed to notice the figure of a young girl with blonde hair running towards him, followed by a beautiful young woman in twintails, wearing a pink magical girl costume.

Starrk furrowed his brows, feeling incredibly comfortable, as if he was lying on a bed of clouds with the softest pillows in the world.

'Oooh~, high thread count, how I've missed you.'

It was heaven.

But wasn't he in hell?

He did not dwell on that thought so much, be it heaven or hell, he will enjoy his eternity in bliss if he has this pair of bed and pillows.

"Wake up you lazy ass!"

Starrk opened his eyes widely in pain, feeling the familiar kick thrown at his stomach.

He rolled over the bed, groaning in pain as he stared at the assaulter and couldn't help but let out an annoyed grunt, "Lilynette, what are you doing?"

"I'm waking your ass up," Lilynette glared at him, "Get up, you need to know some things."

"What?" Starrk sat up, still looking confused.

He looked around, noticing that he was in a luxurious room. His Pesquisa picked up many energy signature, and all of them felt dark and eerie, not unlike that of a Hollow.

Are they in Huecu Mundo?

What happened to the war? Did they lost? Did they win?

No, Starrk furrowed his brows, and immediately noticed that although the presence he felt was similar to Hollows, these were far more depraved.

While Hollow presence felt suffocating, these presence he was sensing felt like it wants to corrupt and spread its own depravity.

Are they residence of Hell?

"Lilynette..." Starrk stared at her, "Where are we?"

Lilynette crossed her arms, "We're in Hell, well, they call it Underworld. Although, this is not the Hell we know. In fact, this isn't even the World that we know of."

"Huh?"

She has been awake for quite awhile and had inquired about the situation before she decided to wake up Starrk.

It sounds unbelievable, but they are apparently not in their own World anymore. She doesn't know how they ended up here, nor why, but she was glad that they survived.

When they first arrived, they were dying, and Lilynette took it upon herself to search for help and thankfully a "magical girl" was passing by and discovered her.

The magical girl made a deal with her, in exchange for saving both of them, they will work under her as reincarnated Devils.

"....so yeah, we are Devils now, serving under a Magical Girl."

"..." Starrk stared at Lilynette, wondering if she hit her head or something. But as someone who knew Lilynette more than anyone, he knew she wouldn't lie about this.

So he came into one conclusion.

'I might still be dreaming.'

With that thought, he decided to lie down and sleep again, hoping to wake up from this dream(He was just too lazy to think about troublesome stuff).

"Wake up already!" Lilynette threw a pillow at him, but he remained unfazed.

She sighed, knowing the futility of such action. At times like this, it was only Aizen who can make him move.

It was at this moment that the door of their room bursts open, and a short girl with long black hair in twin tails, dressed in a pink magical girl outfit, strutted in.

"Hello my sidekicks!" The girl exclaimed, waving her magical staff that sent glitters all over the room, "I am Magical Girl Sera-tan! From now on, you two will help me take down the evil organization that seeks to revive the ancient beast that was sealed away thousands of years ago!"

Starrk opened one of his eyes, and upon seeing the girl, he groaned in annoyance, knowing that he will have a loud and troublesome master from now on.

He can already feel his precious sleep time slipping away.

"You, Lilynette Gingerbuck." Sera-tan pointed at the blonde girl.

"Hm?" Lilynette pointed at herself, "Me? What about me?"

Sera-tan grinned, "From now on, you will be called Magical Girl Lily, the apprentice of the Magical Girl Sera-tan!"

"Uh, sure?" Honestly, Lilynette has no idea what magical girl is, but she decided to just play along.

"And you! Coyote Starrk!" Sera-tan pointed at the sleeping man.

"..." He ignored her.

"From now on, you will be known as Cayote. The love interest of the Magical Girl Sera-tan who has been supporting her since day one."

Starrk wanted to ask why, but was too lazy to do and just buried his head under the pillow.

But Sera-tan wasn't finished yet.

"However, there's a twist! Cayote is actually a super powerful being who deceived everyone to obtain an artifact that will allow him to ascend to godhood! He stabbed Sera-tan and goes on and on about his philosophical speeches and sided with the enemies and became its leader! Isn't that twist so awesome?!"

"What a crazy imagination you have." Lilynette muttered. "although, that does sound so familiar. Wonder where have I heard that before?"

"Ahem!" Sera-tan coughed, "Now that's over with. Let's introduce ourselves properly. I'm Serafall Leviathan, one of the Four Satans who governed the Underworld."

"Finally," Lilynette sighed, "As you already know, I'm Lilynette Gingerbuck. And that lazy ass over there is Coyote Starrk."

"Yes," Serafall smiled, nodding her head, "Well, I probably haven't explained it clearly, but the two of you are Devils now."

"You said that already, yes." Lilynette huffed in annoyance, "But how does that even work? All you did was put a chess piece on Starrk."

"Ah, that was my Queen Piece." Serafall explained, "You see devils have this set called Evil Pieces, corresponding to each chess pieces. How this works is that by implanting these Evil Pieces into someone, it would alter their spiritual and physical 'blueprints' similar to that of a devil...which is weird since I only used the piece on Starrk, but even you, Lilynette, was transformed into a devil."

Starrk opened his eyes at that comment and stared at Lilynette, before closing his eyes once again.

She probably turned because she and him used to be the same being. Lilynette is an aspect of his soul that was separated from him and gained its own ego, but at the end of the day, they are both one and the same.

"Now then, our first order of business!" Serafall twirled, waving her magical staff that scattered glitters all over the room, "You're going to meet my parents!"
