Chapter 4: Military, and Acquaintance?

Bleach Trivia:

"Tier Harribel's Hollow Hole is in her womb."

This is actually pretty sad if you think about it.

Camp Asmodeus.

The main military base of the devils where the current Satan of Military Affairs resides.

It is incredibly fortified, with protection far surpassing any other establishment in the Underworld, being known as the most guarded place in Underworld.

Currently, at the General's Office.

Starrk was wearing his Arrancar uniform, with a sword strapped to his waist. Its just a regular sword made from his own Spiritual Energy, it was no Zanpakuto, but it will do.

He doubted that he will ever need to use his Resurrección anyways, so he had Lilynette stay with Serafall and practice her lines in the upcoming movie.

Starrk was standing face to face with Falbium Asmodeus, one of the Four Satans. A tall, muscular, bald man with a goatee.

'That goatee looks nice.' Thought Starrk, rubbibg his chin, wanting to have such a cool goatee himself.

Falbium is...strong? Starrk guessed. His Pesquisa was sensing that Falbium was only as strong as Priveron Espada, not worth mentioning.

Serafall herself was also at this level.

He wondered if Satans were this weak?

"So you are the Queen I've heard so much about huh?" Falbium took out a cigar and lit it up, "You sure look strong, contrary to your thin appearance."

Starrk, was in fact, not thin. He is slender yes, but he has a toned and muscular physique hidden by his Arrancar uniform.

But compared to Falbium who was like a walking mass of muscles, he does appear quite thin.

"What's with that?" Starrk pointed at Falbium's cigar.

"Oh, this?" Falbium smiled as he took the cigar out of his mouth, "Great right? It makes me hyper focus and go on for weeks without sleep. I'm actually very lazy, I needed this to get me going."

"I see." Starrk nodded. No wonder he felt strangely energized, it was that smoke's fault.

Honestly, it felt weird being so energetic.

Starrk decided to stay away from any smoke in the future. No way in hell he would sacrifice his precious sleep time for temporary pleasure.

"Anyway, Serafall said that you need to raise your rank fast," Falbium put out the cigar, sensing Starrk's discomfort at the smoke, "I can send you to the border of Greece's Underworld."

The "Underworld" is actually a nigh infinite space where a bunch of "underworlds" from various mythologies borders each other.

The underworld where devils resides is actually called Hell, but decided to just change it to Underworld after the Devil Civil War to signify the victory of the New Devils.

"Okay." Starrk shrugs. Doesn't matter where he is as long as he can get the job done.

Once he got promoted, he's out of here.

"For some reason, the Greece's Underworld has started to get restless and have caused us some minor damage. It isn't that serious, but we need to send someone strong to scare them a bit."

"Scare them?" Starrk blinked, "Isn't Hades, the God of the Dead, one of the most powerful beings in the world? He alone can turn our underworld upside down, and you want to scare them?"

Falbium looked embarrassed, "Hey, we need to look tough you know. The whole world is out to get us, if we showed a tiniest amount of weakness then those factions who wanted to get rid of us wouldn't hesitate to attack."

Falbium sighed as he sat down on his chair, "Sometimes I swear making those Evil Pieces is a mistake. They did help us replenish our population, but it also made the whole world into our enemies."

Ever since the effects of Evil Pieces were revealed, the devil race experienced suppression and exclusion to the point where they are struggling importing and exporting resources.

Unlike the Fallens, who have become very influential due to exporting magic weapons and various artifacts.

The angels, meanwhile, remained as a major faction in the world. In fact, they are still considered one of the most powerful factions in the world.

Even after suffering from the Great War, the angels still have more than a million Seraph-class angels. Let it be known a Seraph is no weaker than an Ultimate-class.

So out of the three factions, only the devils are in a very awkward position. If it wasn't for Sirzechs Lucifer and Ajuka Beelzebub acting as a deterrence, the devil race would've been wiped out.

"Anyway, Hades is not involved in whatever is happening there, so you can rest assured."

'Now I feel worried,' Starrk sighed. He felt like Falbium just jinxed him.

'Let's just hope this mission won't give me too much trouble.'

For Lilynette, being alone is a strange thing.

She has always been with Starrk, they were always together, so now when he left for a job and she was left behind, she doesn't really know what to do.

She was memorizing the script for the magical girl movie earlier, but she soon got bored of that and decided to go out and explore.

Serafall's territory is unnecessarily large. But according to the woman herself, she needed large territory to practice her magic spells and use the scenes to shoot her movies.

Beyond this mountain where Serafall's manor is located, you can find fake cities and the like where she shoots her movies.

All in all, the total area of Serafall's territory is probably around 10 thousand square kilometers,

Lilynette wonders how the hell could these devils have so much lands, and Serafall was the one who told her that due to the low population of the devils, most lands are inhabited.

It's like US land area with the population of Vatican.

Currently, Lilynette was strolling besides a large artificial lake, humming a tune.

It was at that moment when her Pesquisa picked up something. She wasn't an expert with the technique, but her range can reach up to few kilometers.

She's not Starrk, who can casually use Pesquisa to observe the entire world, but she is definitely quite skilled with it.

And right now, she was sensing reiatsu.

Normally this wouldn't be strange, but they are in another dimension right now where reiatsu doesn't exist.

As far as Lilynette knows, only she and Starrk possessed reiatsu. But now, she is actually sensing another?

'Three... Four of them.' Lilynette frowned, 'judging from their fluctuating reiatsu, they are injured.'

What should she do, she wonder?

Without Starrk, her combat power is at the bottom. And from the amount of reiatsu she was feeling, she can say with absolute confidence that one of them is at least an Espada level.

"These reiatsus felt strangely familiar."

Hesitating for a moment, Lilynette decided to check the situation first.

With a static sound, she vanished.

...

Lilynette appeared behind a bush and observed the owner of the reiatsu she felt from earlier.

"That is..."

Her eyes widened in shock, recognizing the owner of the reiatsu. No wonder she finds them familiar! She has interacted with them before after all!

"Harribel?!"

Yes, the person she just saw was the Trecera Espada, the strongest woman in Huecu Mundo.

Back then when they were still living in Las Noches, Lilynette used to hang around her and her Fracciones. After all, they were one of the few female Arrancars living in Las Noches.

Without hesitation, she used Sonido and ran straight towards the Espada.

"Who-!?" Tier Harribel looked up, her Zanpakuto in hand as she pointed at the newcomer.

Her cold eyes then softened seeing a familiar face, "Lilynette? What are you doing here?"

"Harribel!" Lilynette smiled brightly, enveloping the tanned skin beauty into a hug, "I'm so glad you survived!"

She broke the hug, staring at the Espada, before turning her eyes towards the three unconscious form of Harribel's Fraccion.

"What happened? How did you all found yourself here? This is a whole new dimension!"

Harribel frowned, "New dimension? I see. So that's what happened."

"Wait, let's talk later." Lilynette interrupted, before pointing at unconcious trio, "We should bring them to safety first. Our house is nearby, come with me."

Harribel sighed in relief as she nodded, "Thank you."

"No problem!" Lilynette grinned, giving her a peace sign, "We're friends after all."

Harribel smiled, although it was hidden beneath her mask.

She looked around, raising an eyebrow in confusion, "Where is Starrk?"

"He's out for work." Lilynette replied.

Harribel froze. She blinked her eyes, looking at Lilynette as if she had grown a second head. She never thought that she would hear "Starrk" and "Work" on the same sentence.

Lilynette just chuckled at her expression, "Yeah, that was shocking. Anyways, let's go."

Harribel nodded, and with little difficulty, carried the three unconscious Fraccion of hers.
