Chapter 1Death (Intro)

In the middle of summer, inside a mansion, a 16 year old boy is lying on a couch with branded names knitted on its sides. He wore an emotionless face. His hair, eyes and clothes were black, reflecting on what he is feeling right now. He is so bored out of his wits without anything to do.

A smartphone rang on a glass coffee table beside him. He grabbed it and looked at the name of caller.

'Tsk '

He looked at the name with disdain.

'Hello? '

" Hael, Give me $1,000"

The guy from the phone is currently demanding money without even a sound of shame in his voice. From his voice alone, Hael already knew he is drunk.

'No... '

The caller's expression suddenly turned sour.

"Listen here you fucking brat *hic*. Don't you fucking know what gratefulness means? Are you that thick skinned?! "

The caller is his uncle, he went bankrupt last year due to personal reasons. Hael helped them already by giving money, but his uncle all wasted it on gambling. The gratefulness part is also about him being his uncle. Hael didn't know if he is stupid, narcissistic or what. Hael didn't even know him until he is 14 years old, when his parents died. Hael wouldn't have believed him, if not for his

documents.

'I do, that's why I'm not giving you shit'

Hael immediately left the call and placed his phone back to the table. He decide to walk to the park to release him from his boredom. It was already 6:45 in the afternoon, so it was already pretty dark.

As he was walking down the street, people were looking at him with respect, disdain or fear.

The moment Hael's parent died he didn't ask for anyone's help. Without anyone to help him, he built a company from the bottoms up.

Hael just ignored their gaze and minded his own business. After a few minutes of walking, he arrived at the park. He is thirsty due to the long walk, so he grabbed some drinks in the vending machine and sat on the chair beside it. He spent 10 mins on the chair before deciding to go back home.

As he was readying up, a man wearing a bloodied brown hood and black pants is pointing a gun at him point blank. Hael stared at him for a few seconds before finally recognizing him.

'What are you doing?'

Hael asked the hooded man with no change of expression on his face.

"I kept wondering, who is this damn "god" this world is worshipping. Giving me this wretched life while giving a brat not even out his diapers money."

The hooded man was non other than his psycophatic uncle. He was smiling while looking at Hael with jealousy.

"Such fucking luck. So I thought maybe, Is it because he lost his family?"

Hael frowned from his words. He felt something horrible from it.

'You fucking bastard.....'

Hael is normally calm and collected, but this time he was fuming. Hael stood up and tried to punch him, but his uncle aimed his gun at his head causing him to stop his actions.

'SOOOOOOO.... I lost mine too. Well, I forced them to leave this world.'

His uncle said in a low tone while licking his gun.

He has 2 daughters, which is close to him. He treats them like his little sister and the only reason he helped them, and his wife living with him. His daughters were only between the age of 4 and 3 respectively.

Hael is gritting his teeth and clenching his fist while looking at his uncle and his bloody clothes.

His uncle noticed his actions and smiled.

While pointing a gun at Hael, he whispered "Now now. This is the first time I saw Mr. Prodigy get worked up like this. Aren't you usually calm reserved and playful?"

Suddenly, he saw a young girl shaking in fear at the sight in front of her.

Hael's uncle suddenly pointed his gun at the girl and tried to shoot, but Hael grabbed his hands and tried to steal his gun, to no avail. Hael changed his plan and just wanted the gun off of him, so he punched his uncle's wrist trying to remove the gun from his arm. He was succesful but the gun flew around 3 meters away from him.

Hael already knew his uncle will reach the gun first, so he ran to the kid and carried her. He ran through the park while calling the police at his phone. He finished the call and now he just have to buy time.

He decided to hide until he can see the exit.

He can hear screaming and gunshots inside the park.

After a few seconds he can hear his uncle shouting.

"You wont go out of this place alive kiddo!"

Hael relaxed and ignored him, until he heard branches cracking. He looked at his side and saw the kid stepping on broken braches.

Hael face turned sour. He grabbed the kid's arm and ran further inside. His uncle is not having it. He chased after them while shooting everyone he sees.

After a few seconds, They can finally hear police sirens.

Hael finally relaxed until the kid tripped. Hael saw his uncle just a few meters away from him, aiming his gun at the kid.

His uncle released the trigger and smiled at the sight of what just happened.

Hael is currenly hugging the kid. He sat there with a bullet wound directly on his abdomen.

His uncle shot him at the stomach one more time, until he can hear police ordering his uncle to drop his gun. His uncle didn't want anyone ordering him, so he shot a bullet at an officer, which lead to a bullet on his uncle's head.

Hael powerlessly let go of his grasp on the kid.

The kid is crying and asking for forgiveness and for him to live. Hael though didn't hear her, but already knew what she was saying.

'It's not your fault. Live wonderfully from now on....' Hael reassured her.

Hael smiled and patted her head, until finally lying in the floor lifeless.

Also, English isn't my first language, so there are some instances where my choice of words are not good enough for what I'm trying to portray. A heads up, the book will be using a medieval setting.
