Ghost of the Uchiha

Author here, an entire year later... I know, took a while. First of all, I must apologize to everyone that supported my story, and to all the friends I made during that time. This last year was full of ups and downs, and I learned a lot of things, made a lot of mistakes, as well as learned a great deal of lessons. I now feel like it's the time to sit down and put pen to paper once again. I re-read my story over the last few days, trying to catch up with everything before picking it back up. I noted some mistakes and things that I would've rather changed. I'll list some below. If you're a new reader, this may contain spoilers, so proceed at your own risk. - The pace of the story is fast... Very fast. I suppose that with short chapters, I wanted to get through content faster and keep you guys' attentions. Although its not exactly a bad thing, I would've preferred if some arcs, like the land of tea, had a little more to them and were more developed. - Although Jun is Madara, I sort of used this as an excuse to make him stronger at a very fast pace. He is MEANT to be strong, don't get me wrong, but I would've preferred it if he struggled more against some opponents (namely Kakuzu and some others.) - Akane, Kushina, and some other minor characters. While focusing on Madara, I realize I neglected these side-characters that either didn't appear enough, or just were skimmed over. Kushina will get some more of my attention in the future, so all of you fanboys, rest assured. ------ Alright, that marks the end of my self-reflection. It is but a small amount of my worries, but I'm going to spend the next few weeks tying up loose ends in my mind, strengthening the plot for the following arcs, and developing characters as well as the world around them. I'm going to make sure that once GOTU comes back, it comes back much better. As for the chapter length, expect around 2 chapters a day, 1000 words each. Its less releases a day, but overall, more content. The pace will probably be slower, so please look forward to it. As for WHEN I'm coming back? I just finished the re-read and am getting to planning. I will make sure to come back in at most a week or two, so yeah. Let's hope for the best. Anyways, thank you for listening to this author here. Ok, so I'll write a self-critic for new readers to see. I have to admit that my story, especially in the first few chapters, has a heavy Xianxia influence, but not in a bad way. Up until now, I haven't received a single complaint about that, just that some people find it weird. The chapters are short. As this is my side-project, I took the liberty of writing 600-word chapters, to give me more creative freedom and to have more motivation to edit them once they're finished. Then again, with my current three-chapters-a-day release rate, it should be negligible. Anyways, that's all I have to say for anyone new. If you decide to read it, I hope you enjoy it even half as much as I enjoy writing it! -Oh, and Madara is not a pedo, take that as you may. Peace!

This author knows, appreciates and loves the original. I like it. I'm interested in the details of his story. He makes neat and competent moves in the development of history. It's also nice that the author is able to risk and expand my understanding of the Chakra world. It's funny, it's interesting, it's done with regard and respect for the original. 4.8 and Good luck, T0XIN.

Honestly, Toxin has always been a great author in the Naruto fanfiction community, but this story takes him to new heights. Theres no Gamer system, theres no Number crunching, and no weird every 5 seconds comparing powerlevels. As Readers we don't need to worry about that. Why? Hes Madara fucking Uchiha, the dude that made himself a God, who has the highest level of technical skill in the verse straight up. We have no worries of 'Oh god, does this OC Gaara have more chakra?' Or, goddamnit why is Fugaku and this OC so strong? We just gotta watch Madara be Madara. I would be greatly enthused to see similar style of stories from him aswell. Mu? Hiruzen? Tobirama? Rasa? Kisame? Indra? Ashura? These and more would be so interesting, and yet no one dies it, and yet Toxin and his talent makes me excited for future prospects.

Writing quality is good Stable updates Story development was good Character design is okay for OOC's Madara here is ooc, if you are expecting the experienced cool bad ass shinobi with plans and schemes, then you won't find him here as of c130. He is nerfed here not in terms of power since he transmigrated to another body and can get it all back but his intellect and cunning mind, from a genius to a regular prodigy. Years worth of experience and knowledge will barely be used. Plot holes can be easily ignored in some areas and forgotten and does not get in the way of the story as of c130. All in all a good au story with a Madara lite with 80% OOC'ness.

'Ghost of Uchiha' has a great premise, Madra reborn as a more open minded individual. Unfortunately the chapters are tiny likely only a page long. The village isn't given much detail either. I certainly enjoyed the story at first but soon became frustrated at chapter length lack of dialogue, and unbelievable character growth.

It’s just good stuff. Madara’s character is really well done and the author handles his power level really well also so that’s a plus. So far, the supporting cast also seems pretty solid as well, which is pretty rare in fanfics where the Mx is basically a one man army

So your thinking about what this novel is about, and here's your answer:This is not a novel but a journey, of one of the strongest characters in the world of Shinobi namely Madara Uchiha, the story takes us through another perspective of what will happen if this legendary man were to be given a second chance. Join this journey as you'll see whats going on in this legendary man's mind and what will he do when faced with the same problems we all know about, how will the story be effected im sure chaos will begin very soon in his conquest. This novel has a great amount of potential make sure to give this a chance

I'm missing the daily release of 2-3 chapters. The chapters are really short so the high release rate was nice. Please get back to it and release more. I hope everything is alright!

Very good book, enjoyed it while it lasted. I liked the "Reincarnated Madara" theme, as well as the proper fleshing out of characters. I'm just sad its dead.

Love this fanfic. I'm normally not fan of fanfincs because the writer doesn't respect de lore and laws of the already established universe but in this case the author did a brilliant job.

A great story and interesting take on Madara turning a 'new leaf'. I like it that he isn't some weak pushover and that still is an arrogant battle maniac who intends for his clan to be influential and lead Konoha to 'PEACE' at any cost.(MAYBE SOME COST?) It would be cool if eventually Konoha under the 'wise' counsel of (UCHIHA)Madara subjugate and Vassalise other villages and finally achieve 'PEACEFUL' world EVERYWHERE!!!!@@. @@@PEACE@@@YOU HEAR THAT!! PEACE!!

Probably one of my favorite fanfics about Madara. And probably the best-written fanfic of him as of yet. Thank you for making peak fiction!!

I rarly give out reviews and good ones at that but here we go. This novel is just awesome in every sense of the word. the only problems it has is I NEED 100 chaps every day smh. lol anyway, I believe the MC is what can either kill a novel or save it, and author's perseption of a madara uchiha who is turning a new leaf is very spot on, in fact it make sense and doesnt leave u with the usual irritating questions. Madara's personality is still there his badassness never left, and you wont even think its someone else which is a good thing (at least for me) he is just basically trying to good (in his own madara ways) but nevertheless good. as for side characters, they are real like, with their own personalities and not like some robots that are only mentioned when they in the scene. the world background is also very enjoable and understandable. Character development is also steady, not too rushed and not to slow. over all I give this novel a very well deserved 5/5/ I hope author doesnt rush in the story too much as it would leave possible plot holes or dent marks on the story, also to keep the character development of all the characters steady but never rushed.
