System of a Wendigo

A girl with an ever resting bitch face walked out of school, her face is covered in disgusting scars all over the poor lass dark skin. Her eyes were big and bug-like it naturally gave everyone the creeps, Sky blue hair rolled over towards her back at the middle. Everyone that looked at her had a look of pure disgust, everyone talked behind her back she was outed out of all social circles cause of her hideous face, Her name is Dyllis Smallwood, She is a mix of Egyptian and Canadian.

For Dyllis it was like every other day just walking home as strangers sneer at her for no reason whatsoever. Dyllis has always felt insecure about her face, she has been called many names, all of which hurt her feelings. She heard a high pitch scream, a concern she headed in the direction of the screaming person, a bunch of thugs surrounded a young girl. All of them had ill intent towards her, Dyllis could tell by the lustful look in their eyes and another thing show its interest. Snorting in disgust Dyllis bellowed "Leave her alone perverts!" all the thugs looked at her before laughing.

"What is an ugly girl like you gonna do?" One of them asks "Well-" getting cut off by another delinquent "Are you gonna kill us by making us look at your fucked up face girly" He laughed crazily. Her eye twitched as she slowly but steadily makes her way to the guy before releasing an axe kick to his chin then to the top of his head, making him bite his tongue "You fugly cow!" one of the thugs cursed.

"I might be an ugly bitch but at least I'm not a scum bag like you guys" She replied in a sickenly sweet voice, they forgot about the other girl and charge right at Dyllis. She tried her best to beat them with a few blocks and attacks here and there, she mange to knock down a few before she felt a sudden pain in her back. Looking behind her she saw one of them smile sinisterly "Ugly girls get killed like you" he said as he dug the knife deeper into Dyllis's body.

Coughing blood she fell forward onto the hard stone ground, the scum bags surrounded her with disgusting smiles on their faces "We will have fun with you with your dead body since that other bitch ran away" The leader laughed.

All Dyllis could see is nothing but pitch blackness, she stayed there for a while feeling safe and warm as if she is in her mother's embrace. After time past she felt a light pull tugging on her orb-like form, dragging her down a train track as her mind is blank. A bright light was at the end of the tracks it soon blinded her senses causing her to close her 'eyes' from the brightness.

When she opened her eyes once more she was blinded by the sunlight causing her to blink multiple times before her version cleared, she felt an aching all over her body as if she was hit by a landslide. Lifting her fleshy arm over her eyes to block the sun, her eyes widen in terror "what the fuck happen to my arm" She growled out, her shock widening further as she growled out her words. She panicked as she made her way to a nearby stream in this wasteland that surrounds her.

The reflection in the water wasn't her scarred face, white eyes stare back at her and black veins surround her eyeballs, her mouth seems to be falling apart "Am I a zombie!!" she exclaimed but the only sound that came from her mouth was a groan. A blue transparent screen pop up in her face saying 'Welcome Host Dyllis you have been chosen to be this world-first Windigo, check your stats to find out more

Thinking about the floating message she thought about her stats, another blue screen pop up saying her status.

Thinking about the word windigo a memory flash through her eyes, A windigo is a human turn beast that made deals with the devil to protect their clan and they eat the living flesh of humans. They offend have reindeer-like heads and are like seven feet tall and it's very rare for them to be a female windigo.

They offend transform at night and hunt usually when they hear music they are very close to ghouls as well. Thinking carefully about why she looked so ghoulish it must be because she is a low-level Windigo. It makes sense since she wasn't naturally made into this being by an evil demon as far as she can tell.

since she is all alone in this wasteland, a bunch of dried-up trees decorate the surroundings and a few tumbleweeds pass by. Racking through her brain she thought about the stream in front of her could lead her to a river maybe even into a forest out of this damned heat that causes her great discomfort. She looked down at her feet to her horror she only has one toe on each foot and the nails on her toe are as sharp as a razor.

Opening up her mouth as she looks back into the stream needle-like teeth smiled back at her. System what is a wendigo weakness? Dyllis ask it took a moment before a screen pop up again.

Weakness:

Fire: Having a campfire will ward me off for a bit but if burn I'll get more hungry.

Magical Protection: such as amulets, protective spells, fetishes, and charms will have a hold over a wendigo

Headphones: Headphones or earplugs must be used to block out the beast's maddening shrieks.

Silver: The Wendigo cannot be hurt or killed by conventional methods or weapons, including blades or firearms. However, silver is lethal to the Wendigo.

Reading all the weaknesses that Dyllix had given her a headache, she decided to walk along the stream till she found a forest or person since she is getting terrible hunger pains in her stomach. Running downstream she follows the way of the water hoping she would find the forest soon. Smelling the air she got a sense of a well-muscled man that seems to be covered in beast blood which causes Dyllis's bloodlust to surge forward. drooling a bit as she draws closer and closer to the hunter that started skinning his hunt.

She soon enters the woods at a quick speed only to slow down, she hid behind a bush and used her Mimic skill which allows her to mimic any human voice cries or pleas. "Someone helps me, please I am injured. I can't move any further!" She cried in a hoarse but gentle voice. She can hear his steps getting close to her and a man saying "Where are you" he shouted sounding generally concerned "I'm over here" Her voice quivered into a sob.

Dyllis thought of this plan since she looks mostly human but very thin with a dark skin tone, she stilled had blue hair on her head. Hiding her cuts on her back, if one to look at her from afar they would think she is a very unlucky girl who was attacked by a monster in the woods. The man got closer and moved the bush leaves out of his way. Dyllis kept her face covered since they are a bad give away "You poor thing, you are covered in beast marks, It a wonder how you survived out here" The hunter said sincerely.

Turning around she kept her face covered, she looked like a fairly normal girl if you didn't notice her long skinny limbs and long nails. The hunter looked down at her feet noting it has only one toe on each foot "You poor child what happen to your feet?" he asks as he looked at her face that is covered by her hands.

She made sobbing sounds as if she was crying as fake tears drip out from her hands "Please sir don't leave me here alone like the others" her sobs only got louder. He picked her up into a hug "There there young one, I won't leave you in such a place" He says as he rubs her bony back. She took her hands off her face hiding them in the man's shirt as she grips his arms letting out wails.

He let his guard down as she 'sob' in his arms, that was when she dug her freakishly sharp nails into his forearms, lifting her mouth she took a huge bite out of his shoulder causing him to cry out in pain and terror which made her excited.

Having lost her mind at the smell of his terror she clawed up his arms rendering them useless, he struggled to get her off "What are you!" He screamed in terror which only flued her hunger as she chows down on him till there was just a skeleton left and some cloth. Snapping out of her daze she looked at him in horror at what she had done "You didn't deserve this, you were a nice man. I am so sorry" She apologizes to the skeleton.

She cried for a while as a little voice in her head told her that humans are only food, why cry over food? It somewhat comforts her to stop crying. She grabs the remaining cloth of the man and wraps it around her face to cover her disfigured face. I should go find a den she thought since Wendigos tend to like to go to sleep after a hefty meal.
