My wife is famous in the capital, I'm the villain
When he woke up, Jiang Li became the heir of the State of Yue. At the beginning, he was offered to the Great Zhou Empress as a hostage by his father.
Unexpectedly, on the first day of his arrival in the capital, the empress betrothed her best friend, Lin Siyan, to him in an attempt to monitor his every move.
Lin Siyan had a cold personality and was focused on her career. She also had mild misogyny. The two of them were husband and wife in name, but they were actually passersby.
On the other hand, Jiang Li was happy and relaxed. During the day, he would sully his image, hang around the brothels, and deceive the Empress. At night, he would use his cheat to break the law and execute criminals who escaped the law to increase his strength.
Soon, he was listed as an A-grade demon by the imperial court.
What was worse was that as time passed, his wife's opinion of him changed!
Lin Siyan, Jiang Li! You... Where were they going?
Jiang Li: Listen to music in a restaurant.
Lin Siyan,"Can you..." Not going?
Jiang Li,"Why don't you accompany me?"
Lin Siyan (blushing): I…I'll accompany you!
Jiang Li was speechless.

First off the grammar is pretty good, there werent any mistakes that i really noticed on that front. i like the dynamic of the relationship between Coraline and Irene. how Coraline did something really f***ed up and that she has to keep up that secret to maintain their relationship. Theres a lot that can be done with that. I like how Coraline is protrayed as a calculating woman, and the fact that she finds rumours about her unpleasant is very human. some novels just have the characters not talk about it, or theyre portrayed as not caring which i just cant wrap my head around. The characters actually seem real with their baggage and personalities, another thing that is usually difficult for other authors. all in all i think this could be a very intriguing read for someone into this sort of novel.
