solar eclipse short story
Hello everyone, my name is Ji Yun. I'm trapped in the day I went to school ten years ago. I know that in 30 seconds, a soccer ball will come flying in. The ball will hit the girl with mushroom hair in the corner of the classroom. She's my childhood friend, still a bit naive and timid. She's a nobody in class, but only I know that she will become a classic beauty and a big star ten years later. Under the banyan tree in five minutes, there will be a girl waiting for me. She's my first love. I've been longing for her attention for as long as I can remember. A few days ago, I confessed to her, and she said she needed to think about it. So, we agreed that she would give me an answer today. I know this is the closest I'll ever be to her in my future life. If I miss this opportunity, we'll become distant like strangers. What should I do? Should I bid a heartfelt farewell to my childhood friend who's about to go abroad, or should I go to the banyan tree and seize the only chance to possibly be with my first love? I'm online waiting, but not in a rush. After all, I always wake up on the same day, with plenty of time and opportunities. I want to handle everything that will impact my future life perfectly, so that the me in ten years won't have so many regrets. What do you think?
For a first novel, this is an interesting one. The intro where MC Kairen transitioning into an isekai world after a solar eclipse and a gray light entering his body is a classic touch. This is nicely written despite some typos here and there. Update is done everyday. Pace is good. Characterization is alright but you didn't fully describe Kairen. I can't visually see him. Setting of the story inside the academy is detailed. Good job, author!
