Exactly. I've seen so many amazing fanfics ruined by harems. They start out great with an interesting plot and concept but later on it just degrades to getting women and banging chicks with very little actual action in between. Storyline became boring. People read superhero comics/novels for the action. The hero vs villain conflicts.

Did you even read it? Honestly I'm usually against Harem as well, but this author just made it work, it's not like other who brainlessly expect us to accept a harem story without explaining how the relationship got to that point and how etch is feeling about it, even the supporting characters.

The author killed Peter Parker’s parents because he couldn’t step away one step from the canon and create something of his own, something that has logic, and not “I’m Peter Parker and I was reborn as a genius, I know the Marvel plot, but I don’t know.” that Peter Parker's parents will die! the author has no creativity, only following the canon with minor changes in the form of a harem, I guess the whole meaning of rebirth is lost, and therefore the meaning of ff by marvel!
