I found the novel good. The absence of a harem gives this novel a big plus. because in la et danmachi every non-male character falls in love with mc. but i have one disappointment. this mc's bell. I wish it was someone else instead of Bell. I don't like Bell, but I'd like it if he looked a little bit of a man with a good adult by his side.

its' OC, it means original character, it's a character that was inserted into the story by the fanfic author that wasn't in the original story

OC is original character, a made up one by the author, normally in fanfics the oc is the mc, instead of the actual mc like bell
He is generic and boring with a plain design and focuses on Japanese having a little boy complex as an MC because they are 'cute' and 'innocent'.

He’s 14…he is a little boy but he grows and develops. I personally really like his character and design.
I can tell you clearly haven’t read the light novels. Bell matures and isn’t as cowardly anymore, he only ever simped for ais but later on it really tones down. He gets a lot better later on. Hope this sheds a more positive light of his character development for you.
Absolutely, these edgy alpha/sigma wannabe’s are acting like his character pulled a Griffith to Guts moment on their family and friends, while all they could do was helplessly watch.
Spitting facts smh. Bells character was made the way it was, because he was young and innocent. He had a devoted mindset, and although he was a simp, it helped him a lot more than other simpish characters...
I wouldn't say because of that, but a danmachi fanfic without harem is one thing.... specifically having a no-harem tag takes my expectations for quality, shoots them in the head, and buries them out in the backyard.
