Actually pretty enjoyable. The only thing I dislike are the character relationships. Cain is too much of a pushover for his “teammates”. The way he doesn’t finish off anyone who betrays/defies him puts me off. Anyways I’ll keep reading and see if there is some character development.

LIKEThanks for the review. The point of Cain not finishing off any one that goes against what he says, is he stupid. Since this is a post-apocalyptic setting he thinks of every still living human as a resource. If he goes off on a killing spree, there will be less of this valuable resource. Although there are exceptions Cain logically doesn't prefer killing people just because they disagree with him. If you have any more questions feel free to ask
Wait what He doesn’t kill off people who betray him cause they are human Bro wha That sucks

He does. It's just that there isn't a lot of betray going on in this book. I prefer to steer away from such drama. And if there are conflicts that lead to betrayals and such, they are well fleshed out and often not what they seem. To answer you, Cain isn't someone that kills for no reason. But he does, although he thinks it is a waste of valuable human resources in a world where it will be scarce in the coming years.
