Where is this story going? There's no plot, the character development is weak and seems to take 2 steps back for every step forward, the MC has no goals or ambition. Why does this MC even exist?The story seems to have turned into an OP wish-fulfillment that the author constantly nerfs. The author seems to spend more time on monologueing about why the MC is not strong, even though he has like 8 OP powers from 3 different fiction universes, than actually trying to get stronger. Of course, everytime the MC gets shown how much weaker he is than everyone else he gets mad, says he's gonna work on it and then conviently forgets to go work on growing his harem instead, it's an endless cycle. I've stuck with it for 40+ chapters but this is just tedious to read at this point.

There is no strong to weak tag here. On the other hand, there is no weak to strong tag, let alone no overpower tag too. Somehow I feel mc's powers will be stuck here and there all the time, unless there's a major change to the plot like the deaths of those closest to him or his loved ones and he blames himself for being weak (or he may never be able to increase his powers because of his tendency to always forgetting things like that).

I'm surprised that you have endured 40 chapters xD , I left him when he went to another world without reason xD , osea would have been in the same world only in another place , it would have been better , but it goes to another world , after that I do not read it , just come to read the reviews , until they come out updates of the stories I read out of boredom xD.
Well... the author made an entire chapter detailing why Zeltrech made an incarnation of himself outside of the multiple nasuverse timelines, and from what's written, the true goal of this fic is killing type-mercury. That thing about MC being weak is only because he didn't train, people think he's supposed to be OP because he's Zeltrech, HE. IS. NOT. ZELTRECH. he has only general memories Zeltrech had and the inner workings of his magecraft, Zeltrech intentionaly didn't include all his memories in the reincarnation because he wanted a diferent perspective on the planning of killing type-mercury, the author stated that. There was an entire training arc a few chapters ago, and while the MC is not the strongest, he's decently strong now. There was only 1 confirmed and 1 potential love interest in chapters 1- 40, saying this is an Harem fic is overstatement.

SoulOfALostUndead:I mean it makes sense if you just notice that the mc is merlin from fate reincarnated you need no other explanation for his actions. If he was a reincarnate from earth or something similar then it would be a different story.

And I don’t know what this guy is talking about. He says that the MC is weak but really the only time he losses is against that dragon and while fighting Scáthach. And while fighting the dragon he still wins it’s just that the Mc does not use his full arsenal. So he seems weaker and gets injured because of that. There’ character development there. And we I can understand if he lost to Scáthach.

The meandering is kinda the point I think. The MC is, ultimately, a researcher with a combat focus rather than a combatant focused on research, and you can see that as the story develops he investigates new avenues of power and works to enhance his own ability in new ways. He’s not totally OP but part of that is because he keeps challenging himself and part of it is that pure power is not really the goal for him, end of the day pure power won’t do what he wants. It’s meandering because the MC has plenary of time, there is no Big Crunch, his deadline is many years away, so he is exploring kind of randomly to find new approaches and avenues, as he was created to do.
well, yes, he is an explorer ... (about the fact that he stayed in the winterhold library (Skyrim) for one day; chased a skirt in the tower of magicians (nasuverse), lived in taverns (rwby)). He is not a fighter, not a magician, not an explorer - but some drunken bum (Google tr)

the people above who usually justify and defend stories like this, usually they are used to the Japanese protagonist culture haha, they will try to make stories like this acceptable in their heads, then they blame the person who reviewed because he never gave the above review 4 star review , bruh like this is usually what saves me while reading, even if it's excessive it's definitely true, I even give 1 star reviews too often if too much 5 star spam is useless.
