I was really hoping the author would turn it around after the 20 chapter trial read but they didn't. How anyone can enjoy reading dense, idiotic MCs will always baffle me. The MC clearly knows that the "script" he has to follow has changed, but the author writes it so that he still is oblivious to everything happening around him. Truly the definition of an idiot. I'm glad this didn't get picked up, hope it doesnt.
What kind of idiot knows that the future he knows has changed, bit still tries to follow along. What a moron
I see why the author put up a pay walled at chapter 16, the story goes downhill so fast I couldn't even get to chapter 30 lmao MC turns into a p*ssy that let's people poison him and his followers but then does nothing back to them because he's to scared of harming innocents. He constantly comes up with excuses for why he has to let others walk all over him. Then a group of guards start fighting him and take his maid who's obviously fitting the maid harem archetype, but he just asks the head guard to be demoted with lashes instead of killed. For someone in feudal China it's impossible to suspend disbelief that anyone would willingly follow behind this honorary 4th prince when he clearly can't and won't defend his own followers lol I don't recommend anyone wastes their coins on reading passed chapter 16.
Story takes a steep dive after MC becomes a Warrior. All of the sudden the author constantly focuses on everyone around the MCs povs instead of the MC himself. It's annoying af. Also, he repeatedly nerfs the system to the point where the system is pretty much pointless, only an excuse to turn the MC from a useless kid eho can't cultivate to a useless kid who we stop following. I recommend you don't start this because the steady decline in quality sucks to watch.
Started off good until the author gave so much emphasis on guns and having the MC learn them. Why in a powered up world would people be using guns and mechanical limbs when it's already been proven that there's energy and cultivation. Stupid. It's a shame because I never would have expected the massive switch up from this author.
No substance whatsoever to this story. Nothing hut 19 chapters of filler and word fluff. MC seems to he somewhat of an idiot. After getting his golden finger he waits about a week before trying it again where the author just talks about how powerful cyborgs are... In a world of cultivators.. I guess the mc takes after the author.
Typical trash webnovel of course with their scummy practices breaks up chapters into 2 and 3 parts to make it seem like real chapters but they're short af. The actual story is dumb too. The MC has to waste hundreds of thousands of dollars for single drops of blood essence for the weakest 'races' just to get a 5 min temporary power up. Also, the powers he uses are the foreign races innate abilities so obviously he's gonna get accused of joining the all races sect(the "evil" sect of the novel). Basically the "golden finger" the mc gets is useless and so economically broken and only gives mc temporary powers that it's pointless and infuriating to read. If the weakest races 1 drop of blood essence cost 50,000 dollars, what's the strongest cost? 1 billion? For a one time use power up? Stupid novel, stupid system. Don't waste your time on webnovels trash.
Well I did all ten chapters and that's gonna be it. Thr thing that most irks me about this story, and other stories like it, is that the MC knows he's in the Marvel Universe, knows that there's being who will kill him with a snap of their fingers and he still trying to come off as the perfect goody two shoes "Prankster King". Like for real? Seems like a fanfic for children.
