The story is not that bad TBH, writing is good and from what i can see is that author is consistent. Most of the people here are just giving it 1-2 stars just because they think mc is beta or simp. But you need to understand it's author's story and that's how he wants to write. If you want to read about an virgin otaku teenager who suddenly becomes alpha dominant male just because he is reincarnated to another world go read dozens or so other wish-fulfillment novels on this site. This world is set up where cards are already against mc, People are complaining about how satou dealt with being a slave better than mc well that's a idiotic way of thinking being a slave and trying to show you are not obedient towards your master would have been death sentence for sure if this anime was not a kid friendly one and if the master was not a teenage girl but rather a cruel one he would have been whipped to shape. I mean c'mon people are complaining how wish-fullfilment novels are not real enough but when someone is trying to make it a bit real people are complaining that mc is not dominant enough. I too like a cool and dominant mc but i would not just hate every other personality that the author's try to cook up. Rating a novel based on just mc's personality is not fair to the author. If the personality is not constructed properly or erratic to the point it breaks immersion i can understand that but giving it 1 star just because mc is not a dominant alpha male is just stupid.

LIKEI am not saying it's my favorite or i love this kind of work, it's just that although the mc is weak it still not deserves 1-2 star ratings just because of that that is the reason it's just a personality author set, i was skipping this novel for a long time just because saw low ratings and thought it was not good. I get many of the readers are not happy with the mc but there are literally 100's of novels on this site that have an op otaku running the multiverse just read those. If you just like reading op mc who just dominates everything it just wish-fulfillment 99% of times what's the point you read a novel for it's story not for it's powerful mc
ExArgentum:While some of your points are valid, most people don't feel like reading a story about a weak and beta main character. What's the point? If you like those types of stories, more power to you. Just, tell me all your favorite novels. I need to know which ones to avoid.
also a lot of people are ratijg low because he is a beta, not because he isn't a dominant alpha male, like myself for example I dislike wish fulfillment but I also like my stories more serious so I dislike beta like this mc, but I might come read again later because according to you hes just adapting to the situation and might just be acting
Update: ok i am done with this novel officially. I don't hate weak mc but author is just trying to work everything against him. He gets betrayed, killed, harassed, enslaved, tortured, betrayed again and that is not only in the start it's even when he gets strong. Every plan mc makes he fails, everywhere he goes he gets betrayed. Every time he goes for a new mission you just know he will just get caught again to the point that it seems too forced, nearly every character is evil who will sell mc for can of soda and he saves that half elf girl so he is now officially hated by everyone as people here hates (And i mean HATES to the point of even farmers and random peasant attackes them even knowing full well that they will die). At one point i was even wondering if author hates mc.

While youβre right about reviewing about personality, that only applies if that personality makes sense. A βlameβ character is bad if illogical to the situation theyβre in, say theyβre the strongest, yet keeps accepting horrible treatment. In this case, itβs accepting all this bs when he should be from the modern world. To insult the MC of a series, then proceed to do 500% worse in the same position, and like it, is completely illogical, and something worth reviewing and warning future readers away from. A review is ultimately for future readers.
