i just cant bring myself to read past ch 3 when i read that apparently legendary and mythical pokemon are snacks any random trash can get and throw away like a dirty rag aka mc's "starter" zeraora (i skiped ch 2 since i wanted to see if the writing quality went up and see this) like are you serious?

some people will be really direct with their opinion. just look for why they complain and use that to improve the story. it's a major plothole to have someone having a legendary Pokemon and ditching it. no sane person will do that

You can't what his opinion? Understand? Im assuming that's what you're trying to say here. That you can't understand his opinion. Keep in mind this pokemon is within world as far as anyone knows is fully unique and already shares a bond so there should be little to no reason to leave it. Please at least watch the early pokemon anime seasons to understand the world a bit more. (theyre free atm if I recall correctly for the earlier anime seasons)
