Nah author was 100% right. Rupert was perfect as Ron in the later films.

Rupert was great in the later films. He played Ron perfectly. Ron and Draco were the only two good actors that were there from film 1. Hermione was good early but bad later on and Daniel Radcliffe was just never a good fit for the role of Harry Potter.

Calling Hans Gruber a cartoon villain is blasphemy… dude is arguably the greatest villain in that movie

Daniel Radcliffe was an awful child actor in the Harry Potter films. He is a much better actor now but not as a kid. He also didn’t have the killing curse green eyes and he ended up being so short that canon Harry was thrown out the window.
