the story kind of sounds boring the intro has no personality. as the intro just basically admits the MC just steam rolls through the dragon Ball universe. this would be forgivable if you had written an intro that showed the MC personality to be unique or funny or hinted that there was going to be lots of lemon scenes with a pretty good size harem. but I see no indication of that in the intro.

the irony of this statement is that Mr Hercules is filthy stinking rich and he's also material artist and in fact a lot of professional fighters are wealthy in the real world. the only reason Goku is broke is because he doesn't participate in tournaments / competitions or hasn't since dragon Ball outside that one tournament during dragon Ball z. as there's obviously some type of professional circuit like the MMA on dragon Ball Earth and there obviously big money in it. I'm kind of surprised that chichi doesn't know about it and isn't pushing Goku to participate in it. hell goku could have even retired from that scene by the time dragon Ball z rolled around a multi-millionaire and started his own school on the side and taught people material arts with his friends like krillin and Master roshi instead of farming cuz I just can't see Goku being a good farmer.
